Planted in Mendip

I have been here a couple of times before. I must say their coffees never disappoint! Their chai lattes in particular are the best. The staff are also always friendly and accommodating, with the cherry on top being the bohemian aesthetic of this coffee shop, which adds a lovely homely feel to the place.

Terrible service, food very bland, waited over 35 mins for food to arrive after ordering and ours came after other people who ordered before us had theirs. £7 for a fish finger sandwich which had 3 fish fingers some soggy lettuce and a tasteless bun, not good value for money. Shall not been returning here

First the positives- friendly staff, nice menu. Pleasant ambiance. Ordered a crab salad which,although beautifully presented ,unfortunately was inedible due to the amount of shell in it. The other big negative was the state of the toilet-down a dingy cluttered dirty side passageway . The toilet seat had peeling plastic covering on it- really not hygienic and my standards aren’t particularly high. I did inform the staff re the food and loo.The response about the crab was- yes we are aware that’s a problem-which left me slightly dumbfounded. These are small issues that can easily be remedied and I’m hoping will be taken as constructive criticism.

We had crab sandwiches for two for lunch to take out which were unfortunately filled with quite a bit of shell. Not great.

What a place!!! never seen anything like this before!! If you love plants and coffee, you have to pay a visit! Delicious crab sandwich!

We loved the decorations in this cafe, it was so unique! The living plants were lovely to see, and the view of the sea was stunning. The staff were also so friendly. I did however find that there wasn’t much choice on the food menu.

Great coffee made with great care and love. Wonderful views from the back of this small cosy cafe. Lovely dog in the doorway to welcome you too.

Great tasty vegan food, a healthy wholesome stew and the best smoothies anywhere. Nice atmosphere. Great staff, prompt service

A very attractive and pretty venue with lots of natural plants. No plastic! Rustic vibe. The name implies vegetarian but do not fear. A delicious sausage wrap complemented with great coffee. Beautiful water views from the back.🇬🇧🇳🇿

We stopped off in Planted after a morning trip to Falmouth on holiday. As soon as we walked in we knew it was going to be a little gem. We sat at the back of the cafe over looking the harbour. The seating is raised seating and decor is great throughout the cafe, there is lower seating toward the front of the cafe. We had 2 lattes and a mocha which tasted great and myself and another of our group had the sausage breakfast wrap for a snack which both of us would really recommend trying if you haven't already. A great spot to chill or catch up with someone you know.

Amazing cafe! Had a really delicious coffee and healthy lunch! Such a cool space to hang out in with interesting plants and micro greens everywhere! The views out the back are amazing over the harbour and I really can’t fault anything about it! Everything in there is so creative too! I just wish it were closer to my house as I would go all the time!

Such a lovely little cafe !!!! Lovely doggo Leroy who loves hugs and attention too, amazing food and gorg chai latte super friendly staff just a lovely atmosphere. Great decor too!

this is my new favourite place!! the owner, the staff the DOG!! are all lovely. the vibes and atmosphere here are perfect for a chill coffee and chat with friends. the view over the harbour along with the delicious food is perfect !! 10/10

Had a really warm welcome here when a friend and I stopped coffee. The coffee was fab and it was a great little find. Will definitely be back again

Lovely cafe, with excellent views and a nice decor. Have to say the food itself and pricing let it down. Just 4 offerings on the menu all around £9. £9 for a smashed chickpea wrap is steep and this was average at best. I always choose to support local, upcoming venues, but felt disappointed by the offerings here. It wasn’t until the end that we spotted the hot counter with pastries. If these options were clearly signposted, I’d have likely opted for that.

This is a friendly cafe offering good, healthy nutritious food. The plant wall in the back was amazing.

Came upon this lovely cafe on my last visit to Falmouth. Very creatively set up, lovely welcome, sunny spot at the back overlooking the harbour and very interesting menu. I highly recommend.

Great chilled atmosphere, excellent staff. The food is insane as is the coffee not forgetting the adorable Leroy - will be back!

The most beautiful little cafe with incredible attention to detail in the decor, even the salt and pepper shakers! Too much cool stuff to mention so you’ll have to check it out for yourself I had a cup of tea and their homemade lentil cottage pie and it was absolutely devine. Even the crockery was beautiful! Beautiful views, kind, helpful and friendly staff and a beautiful doggo to keep me company. Definitely go and visit this place if you’re in Falmouth, and get a lovely hello from Leroy and the rest of the staff.

Beautiful cafe with a comfy relaxed atmosphere. The coffee is well made and millionaire shortbread is delicious :)) The carrot crumpet was also a hit! Plenty of gluten free and vegan options. The staff (dog included) are all so friendly.

Great atmosphere and fantastic views across Falmouth. We had some oat milk coffees which were delicious but I expect the oat milk to be of a higher quality when having a cappuccino so you get a good quality foam. Would be nice if the portion...
