Since leaving London I have missed the small independent bakeries and this one is the answer to my prayers. Great selection of food from hot food and pasties to sweet treats and cakes and priced unbelievably well 😋

When visiting a friend it was suggested that we went out for lunch and my companion wanted me to experience this venue. It was clear on entering the bistro it was a popular place, but we were fortunate enough to get a window seat. We both ordered the fishcake,chips and mushy peas from a very comprehensive menu and we were not disappointed with our selected option. The meal was served hot and the fishcakes were very tasty, supported by chips that were crispy on the outside and soft in the centre. Value for money, definitely. If you happen to be in the vicinity of this bistro I highly recommend a visit to try it out for yourself.

Popped in as passing through and so glad we did! Amazing food and very friendly lady. We bought lots of different things and it was all delicious! We will be back even though we don't live that close, it is worth the trip!

It's not there anymore. It as changed names. And no I did not know that it was being run by a employee. My apologies. But it is confusing when two different names share the same address. If you look on proper job reviews I gave it 5 stars.

Friendly service, no parking outside but two sandwiches, and two pastys came to around £13. Decent food I’d recommend.

Bought 3 Pasties from the lay- by near Hatt, Cornwall. All I can say absolutely delicious. Well worth the little trip from Plymouth just to buy them. Next time we will be buying some for our freezer.

Came by yesterday hoping to get some pasties for our walk along Cadson Bury woods, only to find that the pasty shop has gone - a long time ago apparently. We were also dismayed at the quietness of the main streets of Callington and the large number of closed and empty retail and food premises.

Eaten here a couple of times in 2021, these are top quality pasties.

Want a pasty? Want a real Cornish pasty? Want it to be absolutely gorgeously scrumptious? If your answer is 'yes' then definitely come here. Perfect pastry plumply pillowed making a perfect pasty.

Popped in today for the first time. Bought a steak pasty and cheese scone. It was absolutely delicious! 👍Not too peppery. They also gave me a sausage for my jack russell puppy. They were really lovely friendly people. Nice coffee too. Will definitely be going back to try the quiches 😊

Best pasties ever, lovely service, drive from Plymouth to get pasties and they also sell them frozen to cook at home. Highly recommended trying pasties, pies Etc

Shop now closed, visited today 1/6/20 . Great shame as I've eaten pasties from here for years. Notice says the restaurant owners have moved to a tearoom further down in Cornwall.

Visited February 2020. A very friendly owner. Great selection of pasties. Very reasonably priced. Recommend you try the homemade muffins. They are delicious. It's great to support a local business and eat great food. Thank you.

Had the small steak and ale for breakfast. Filling enough. Couldn't have managed a large one. Tasty meat and gravy in lovely pastry. No need for sauce, flavourful enough. They have many different flavour varieties. Have had many pasties from this shop over the years. Never failed to satisfy. A small unassuming shop, in a little side street, well worth a visit. Definitely worth trying.

the woman was very welcoming and there is very good meal deals. and there is a donut machine. it's a must to have when u come to callington

great pasties - wide variety of flavours and tiptop pastry would definitely return when in the area.

The pasties here always look delicious and taste great, they offer a variety of fillings. But the traditional Cornish pasty is my favourite.

Well I didn't even know this little gem existed (I live in Plymouth but have family in Callington) No nonsense, just good food. Reasonably priced too, bought 3 large pasties for £7.20 and I've never had such a nice Ham & Cheese pasty in my life! The misses was very impressed with the Lamb & Mint too! Pop in if you get the chance, you won't be disappointed!

Been here in previous years and it was good. But this year the pasties were inedible. Had the steak and the lamb totally full of fat and grizzly wont be going back ever

I have never had a bad pasty here, always consistent and at a good price compared to other places. Our favourite is to pick up a pasty here and eat it at kit hill. Simple pleasures!

Pleased to find a veggie Cornish pasty not made of wholemeal flour. Tasty, peppery vegetarian pasties with nice white pastry. They advised that if you call ahead they will prepare one for you as there is not much demand for veggie ones and you may have to wait otherwise.

The pasty shop is just that and doesn't try to be anything else. Very tasty varieties and well cooked and presented. If it's crimped on the top it's a Devon pasty.

Busy little pasty bakery on a hill below the church in the centre of this friendly little dormitory town for Plymouth. Tasty pasties. Consistent and good value.
