Fabulous vegetarian restaurant. Even my hubby who eats meat was a bit reticent about coming here… however he loved the food and revisited with me. Lovely menu, food is delicious and service is good .

I recently dined at Thai Basil in Thornbury with a party of six, and it was a fantastic experience. The owners were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. The service was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our needs were met throughout the evening. We all enjoyed our meals, which were delicious and well-prepared, showcasing authentic Thai flavours. The prices were very reasonable for the quality offered. I would highly recommend Thai Basil to anyone looking for a great Thai dining experience!

Five friends & family from Devon & Penryn together to celebrate an early Christmas together. Wonderful convivial lunch - food was delicious with amazing portion sizes. It was excellent value for a four course meal & the young lady serving was a delight: very friendly & attentive. Got the festive period off to a lovely start.

Ate here on a Sunday lunchtime- 3 adults and 2 young children. Whole experience was excellent. We didn’t have a booking and phoned up with about 20 minutes notice. They fitted us in no problem with a space that was very well suited for us. All the staff were lovely, and it was clear all the customers were enjoying themselves too. Food was great - huge roast servings with fantastic Yorkshire puddings (our 3 year old is a Yorkshire pudding fanatic and he rated them highly). Would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience! The staff members are friendly. The owner is very accommodating and making sure that every customers are being attended properly. One more thing; they allow dogs to come in and offer water for them straight away. Fab! The food are definitely lovely and tasty. Me and my boyfriend certainly recommend this restaurant as the taste of the food is very authentic. The atmosphere is magneficent!

Went for lunch today during Burger and Pie Week. We had a venison burger and a turkey burger, both were delicious. Great service from the young bartender. We heard her telling other guests she was only 16 but she was so confident and welcoming, even gave us a little taste of the cider before we ordered. Only room for improvement is that it was a little chilly, maybe light that lovely fire on a grey October day.
