Kingz Burgerz in Forest of Dean

Ordered 2 meal box's containing topped chips and a burger, burger was pretty nice but wasn't really very hot and was like it had been sat around for a while before it being delivered, chips were honestly stone cold and hard, also some chips had no seasoning and others were extremely salty. Wouldn't recommend again as he deletes negative feedback from Facebook.

Order was about 20 minutes earlier than stated on delivery times, which I was not complaining about! Food was outstanding!! Hot, full of flavour and very good portion size! I’ll be returning! x

Can't recommend enough! The burgers are the best, bacon perfectly cooked and SO cheesy 😋 Delivery was super fast and no fuss, and they were even very nice to me and my husband about our order being plain (which no other place ever gets right, OR is nice about it!). It's a must if you're in Chepstow, five stars all day 🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔

Always good food did find the chips really salty this time ease on the salt. Maybe need to get more drivers to do quicker delivery as its such a long wait even if you plan to order early expect it over a hour maybe hour and half to even be delivered. Understandable if your busy but get more drivers in be better on delivery service. Get more drivers!

It says the box is supposed to come with 4 mozzarella sticks & 4 cheese bites but I've received 3 of each instead

They don't accept card payments and they prioritise Just Eat orders over people who turn up to order.

The food was 10/10 definitely come here again

So, order placed at 19:30. Initially advised that food would be delivered between 20:30-21:10. Waited until 21:20 and messaged the store to be told that it would be arriving at 21:30. At 21:35 the food hadn’t arrived so I called the store to be told it would be five minutes. At 21:45 the food still hadn’t arrived - I tried calling the store and they had turned the phone off. One of the worst experiences I’ve had as a paying customer. Utterly abysmal. I have never been made to wait like this.

Food was an hour past when they said it would be delivered and was lukewarm at best. The meat in the burgers was under seasoned and bland and the spice on the chips was just a load of paprika. Very disappointed.

Amazing food! We ordered expecting the food to come in an hour, as the wait time said 45mins-65mins even when selecting ASAP. But it arrived so quick and hot! Most occasions Kings provide and deliver outstanding food and service but the past two times now we have had our orders delayed and delivered late. Also, this time they got one of our chosen items wrong so left my wife a bit disappointed - she asked for the hunters chicken loaded but instead got -what we thought- pig out fries.

It says that the food has been delivered but it hasn’t turned up, tried ringing the restaurant on multiple occasions and no answer at all. So I have paid for an order received nothing and had no reply to fix it. I want a full refund!

Over an hour late for the food

Food was lush but the fact it took over a hour from the original delivery time did put a damper on the meal total wait time from ordering it took over 2 hours. Will probably collect next time as food was amazing

Honestly a liability. I've made 3 orders, all have been accepted then cancelled 2 hours later. Leaving me waiting for a refund and without food. Judging by what a few friends have said, this might be a blessing in disguise.

Food was delivered piping hot and was the nicest takeaway we’ve had in the area. Portions were massive too. Don’t let the reviews re the delivery time put you off, it’s well worth the wait and I don’t think it was too bad considering we ordered on a Saturday evening. Will definitely order again.

I have never eaten there but my dog lost his ball at the village hall and they got it back for him as i couldn't climb the gate to retrieve it but i do walk past amd looks and smells delicious and there are always manners. So i shall pop in there for some dinner soon. Thanks again guys x

Amazing best food I've ever eaten

Hi. Today was a 4th time ordering from Kingz and 1st disappointment. Delivery is way too long, even though it was promised for an hour (not ideal for local takeaway) it took another 10 mins on top of that. Now to the food - chips are absolutely cold which is not surprising due to long delivery and thin cardboard packaging (i believe the bag was sitting on the car sit without a thermal box). All chips went to bin as stone hard and dried inside. Total waste of money. Burgers - one completely burned from a bottom and 2nd one inside. The one which is burned on the bottom was so hard that I had to be careful while chewing. Both burgers had constant burned coal taste. And last but not least, we ordered 3 burgers 1 had no chips so easy to identify and the rest two were different but both had word Kingz in the name. One was marked Kingz which didn’t make any sense and we had to open burgers and go back to menu to check what had to be inside. Very annoying. I really hope for an improvement because every time we ordered we really enjoyed and it would be amazing to keep it that way. Thanks

Just had our first meal from Kingz, a drip box for two delivered to Caldicot. Absolutely delicious, you can taste the quality of the produce and the care and attention that goes into cooking it. Will 100% order again and would highly recommend.

This place is the best place I’ve ever eaten from!! A group of 4 of us come fishing down Mathern mill fishery a few times a year in our vans and thought we would try this place, lots of people have had issues in the past finding us but they found us straight away… the food was outstanding and not to mention the free pot of Ben and jerrys Thankyou very much we will definitely order again!!

absolutely the best takeaway in the area hands down, huge portions we can never eat it all.

Very poor customer service, menu descriptions are miss leading. One menu choice is a double patty, when selecting this then it puts additional options for one or two patties. I called the store for clarification and was told its either a single or a double. Person on the other end of phone was very rude and hung up on me. Wont even bother with these now especially as i was on the fence to begin with due to costs of a burger!

I ordered at 6:30pm. Estimated was 7:40-8pm. The order arrived at 8:10pm. I ordered the chicken tenders. There was supposed to be 5 but I only got 4. The chips were also cold. My partner ordered the kingz pig out which looks nothing like the picture and he paid extra for cold chips. First time we’ve ordered from here and wouldn’t order again.

I can't begin to praise this place highly enough. The food is hands down without a doubt the best the the whole of this local area has to offer. The food has that authentic American taste and the flavours that you get for the price are unbeatable. To top it off the service is always second to none and always left with a smile and feeling valued as a customer. Highly recommend the new tacos and the chilli jam king

Quite bland and not really all that

Ordered food with 45-60 mins wait, food took over 2 hours to arrive and was not fresh, food had gone all mushy and cold. Very disappointed as was looking forward to trying this

They're usually really good with their service, and the food is always tasty. But they forgot the fries from our order this time and were a fair bit late, I tried to call but the phone was offline. Even though they were late, the food was still hot and tasted great.

So please don't take us as we don't know what we are talking about.I have enjoyed Gordon Ramseys burgers in both NY and LA so I know what a burger is.No,I am not comparing Kingz burger with that one. £15.55?????For this burger?There is at least 3 places in Chepstow where you can sit and enjoy a much BETTER burger with CHIPS on the side,and even a soft DRINK,for the same money or even less. I am not sure about the quality of meat,or the source of it,and that'd because of the extra salt they put on it when on grill.You can hardly feel any taste apart from salt and texture. £0.50 SERVICE FEE?1st of all what service?I've ordered online and when I walked in to collect I've seen some really worried faces asking if I have already ordered,ready to get me on my way otherwise.2nd of all,this is the first time I have ever heard of this fee in food bussines,and only place I've had thus before was when getting new car insurance. Honest hard working people,if you want a much better and cheaper burger,I won't day GO TO FIVE GUYS in Bristol,there are so many honest restaurants in Chepstow where you can get much better and much more. Just imagine what £15.50 can get you in Lidl,just to make a comparison to how much you get for your money. If you think that salty food is tasting good then this review is not for you,a burger should taste like juicy meat and cheese not salt. We are sorry that we have tried your burger,the only thing that we are happy with is that we don't live in Sedbury so we would have to drive past you every day.

Delivered to the wrong house delivered it to number 12 instead of 21, lucky enough my nabours are honest and brought it over 😆, strongly recommended though, burger and fries were really tasty, same goes with the Cheese dipping Sauce will definitely be ordering it again! ❤️

What can I say that hasn't been said a million times before? Kingz Burgerz is now an iconic staple of the Chepstow area. The couple who own it go above and beyond for every single customer, you wouldn't believe it was only ran by 2 people. When my fiancée and I got engaged we order a couple burgers to celebrate and they decorated our boxes and left us a sweet note congratulating us. They truly made our day. And this is all without mentioning the decadent food they create. We have gone through almost the entire menu by now and not one thing hasn't surpassed our expectations. We are well and truly obsessed.

I ordered 6 items, delivery was an hour and then was late by 40-50 minutes. So total time around 1 hour and 50 minutes.
