Firstly Bread is an unusual cafe, it is a Christian run cafe and very religious inside. Although not religious myself this did not impact me. The cafe also caters for children like a playgroup so could be very disruptive. For example a 2-3 year old playing a tambourine was quite annoying for us 3 adults. However the two biggest issues were the service and the customer/staff. The cafe was relatively empty however it took 45 mins to serve us 3 toasters. I also really disliked the fact that one group of customers seemed to be able to go behind the counter to the food and drink prep area and prepare themselves things. Have you not heard of food hygiene standards? If I had of observed this before our order was placed I would have left.

Bread is a very special place, lovely staff, always positive always happy to chat. Great service, lots of space, but above all a genuinely happy atmosphere. Yes it’s a Christian cafe, but that’s what makes it so special, the people are genuinely nice. And in today’s world if someone is kind enough to sit with you, speak with you and even pray for you (p.s. that’s no forced on you at all) then I’d say we all need that right now. If you want a quiet and friendly drink, read a book or even do some work, there isn’t anywhere else I’d recommend in town.

I love Bread! My favourite thing is the care, listening and helping that evidences the wonderful right standing with God, peace and joy of his spirit. I didn't know God had a spirit and he cared, until I was confronted with the personal soul enriching truth.

Came to this coffee shop not knowing it was a Christian coffee shop (I’m a Sikh man). Felt very welcomed, and always a great feeling being around God’s people. The food and coffee was great. Only the best wishes for this place

If you like good food and drink and cool people. This is your place. Dominic and Thea (founders of the cafe) are so full of life, love and joy that just spending 10 minutes around them might change your life forever. Where modern society has often become dark, hopeless and sterile, this place is like an oasis of love and light. They are also super creative with their line of fine china in vibrant yellow colors. Support local places like this instead of the Starbucks of the world.

It's a remarkable place. You can either just eat and drink, and enjoy a really nice place, or they are happy to talk to you about life, things on your mind. They are pretty open about being Christians, and sometimes they offer to pray for clients who want it.

Beware. You might be fooled into thinking that this is an ordinary café, but behind the cute branding, smiling faces, and tasty treats there is a real dark side. This café/community centre is run by what most people would consider to be an extreme Christian group which holds some extremely unpleasant beliefs. A quick Google search will tell you what they believe and the aim of the café. If you haven't already been put off by their attempts to convert you, knowing where your money is going will probably make you think twice before buying that croissant.

Wow - best baristo coffee ever! I am a coffee geek so the flat white I ordered met my high expectations in terms of taste, texture and the latte art. The toasted sandwich I ordered was also lovely with all the trimmings! Also I love the high-spec furniture and room layout. Very contemporary and unique with extra friendly staff. I well recommend this cafe, worth a visit.

Really lovely cafe with the best atmosphere in town. The staff are encouraging, relaxed and friendly; together with an exceptional level of service, they bring a deeper measure of thoughtfulness, love and attentiveness that overflows thanks to their faith in Jesus. The food is delicious and there is so much to look at, enjoy and admire in the cafe decor, along with outstanding childcare provision! Highly recommended.

Was quite optimistic when i heard this place was opening and they were going to help the homeless and in need. None of this has happened. My partner works with two homeless organisations in Yeovil and Bread cafe have made no attempt to feed nor support. Visited last week and it was just a very expensive cafe! Quite over the top preaching comes with this. Not relaxing.

Really great coffee community! Fantastic quality drinks, hot chocolate teas and coffees, great food options from toasters to cakes. It’s a great and friendly atmosphere, with friendly staff and good music. Really great art with good messages, there even a little shop with encouraging mugs and creative artwork. Easy place to crack on with some work, but also a great place to simply relax with friends. As I say, the staff were happy to chat too, they even offered to pray for us which was really thoughtful. Wish all coffee shops were like this one!

The Bread Cafe is a rare find, as not only is it kid friendly, it's also a great little "mom and pop" coffee shop where you can relax with your friends & family, or just take a moment for yourself (either way while having one of their great cakes or tasty sourdough toasties of course!). Speaking of their toasties, I really recommend trying either their "Chorizo Explosion" or the "Absolute Tune" for tuna lovers! In fact, if you're with a friend or family member, why not get both and ask the staff to split them so you can each try half? (Hey, they're so good, I won't judge if you wanted both for yourself!) Regarding the drinks, personally, I've only had hot chocolate and a decaf latte, although I believe the decaf cappuccino was really good, however, my only issue with them was that they didn't come in a larger size (especially the hot chocolate as it was a great balance between being tasty and not too overpowering!) As for the staff, they are all very friendly and great at making you feel like you're not just another order, which I guess is an advantage of them not being some chain / franchise coffee shop that's only interested in your wallet, as the staff (as well as the owner) can often be seen checking on the customers to see if everything is well. For those that are interested, it's also open as a church every Sunday from 10am until roughly 12pm - if you're not a believer, then don't let that put you off, as the staff are VERY warm & friendly, regardless of your views or believes. Oh, and if you are feeling inspired by any of the mugs on the wall, they are available for purchase.

My husband and I popped into No5 Diner while waiting for our MOT to be done at Lynx MOT Test Centre. We were greeted by a lovely smiley girl on the counter who took our order of 2 English Breakfasts and a tea and coffee. We had 2 x bacon, 2 x sausage, 2 egg, 2 hash browns, beans and mushrooms with a slice of toast. Sauces and condiments on the table. A very good size breakfast for just £8 each. Easy to pay on card. The plates and drinks were brought to our table swiftly. It a clean and pleasant cafe, bright and nice to eat in. The menu is varied with something for everyone. I will definitely be back and would recommend for sure. Next time I must try their cakes and bakes as they looked delicious. Also saw their sausage rolls which came out of the oven while we were ordering a second brew.

Went with a large party - prebooked- around 12 of us. All ate off the set menu (starter, main with rice or naan). We sat down at half 7 and didn't get dinner until just after 10pm. This was after multiple reminders to the waiting staff, who always replied with "2 minutes." I understand this is a tactic to push up the drinks bill, but when we are sitting there for 2 hours, just waiting - very poor service! Once the food did arrive, it was very average, and mine was only lukewarm! Parking is a bit of a nightmare, too - I ended up blocked in as everyone just abandoned their cars outside! We were asked by the staff multiple times if we owned different cars outside, so I don't think this was only a problem for our party.
