Milk Bun in Bath and North East Somerset

Just ordered a El Chapo along with the loaded fries and gochujang wings and it was amazing. Portions are very generous in size with great flavour, would definitely recommend

There's nowhere in Bath quite like this place - the best burgers, chicken wings and sides, good service, plus a great soundtrack - smashed it!

I've eaten from here 3 times, I like it. I've never sat in though, always take my food away as I live very close. It's a pretty reasonable price if you collect it yourself I think (£10 a burger or so atm). Of the burgers, I've had the bronx chicken, bronx and el fumo. The chicken was excellent, the fumo was very good, bronx was a bit meh. Burgers are a decent size but not huge. I weigh 100kg, it's a decent portion of food, trust me. Sides I've had the fries, bronx fries and mac and cheese. The normal fries are very decent both in quantity and quality. I didn't think the loaded ones are really worth it and the mac and cheese was average (but I find that pretty much everywhere I go).

Every time I come here it doesn't miss. Tried everything on the menu now but hands down for me the best is the chicken el chapo. If you like fried pickles then it's your lucky day cus they're some of the best I've ever had. Great staff. Good beer amazing food. Best buns money can buy aswell 10/10

Just had a milk bun take away from Uber Eats. OMG. Milk Bun ❤️ can’t believe this is the first time we have ordered it. I had the chilli and peanut burger. Honestly the best burger I have ever eaten. Seriously delicious. And the loaded fries. Will be ordering again soon. You don’t need to be in London anymore to have decent food.

A regular to both the Bristol and Bath branches. Both always on absolutely point for food quality and service, also great drinks selection. Probably my favourite burger restaurant in the UK. Wouldn't hesitate to get down there and try it if you haven't already.

Ordered the most delicious Milkbun for delivery recently and was not disappointed! My partner and I order a different burger each time so I think it’s fair to say that we’ve tried each one on the menu and I really can’t say that I have a favourite as they’re all so delicious. I guess there’s one to suit your mood any given day :) We always order with Bronx fries which are to die for and we have found that one portion is enough to share between us. As a recovering vegan, believe me when I say I am ALWAYS hungry but after a milkbun (meat version) I am always left feeling full and satisfied. I’ve read a couple of reviews complaining about the size of the burgers but I think the quality of the meat must make up for this and to be fair they seem to be the same size as some other restaurants I’ve tried. Another major plus for me is that Milkbun is a locally owned restaurant and not part of a huge chain. You can almost taste the love that has gone into everything these guys have created and the fact that they make their own buns on site is amazing. So happy to see that the restaurant will be open again on Friday :) Keep up the great work guys!

Love me a MILKBUN! I had the Pablo on my last order but I try an alternate between that and the Fumo - both banging burgers, I like to double up and go big! Mac + cheese, Chicken tenders, Chicken wings and dirty fries are all musts. My advice, turn up hungry so you can make the most out of everything MILKBUN have on the Menu! Great bite in Bath!

Best Burgers in Bath! Went with a mate tried 4 different burgers between us they all slapped! Especially the chicken triad one, can’t recommend that enough! Far superior to anything else available in the area trust me I’ve tried it all.. The sides were banging too, and great drink selection. Can’t wait to go back next time in bath! 🔥👌😍

Firstly the food at milk bun bath is second to none (the same as their Bristol establishment) the quality of the produce used shines through as does the care and attention the food recieves. From the dry aged beef to the exapetional Bread made in house for the buns. The same attention to detail and care is evident in all of the side dish offerings. It is a regular for myself, my family and my friends. (when it was open for dine in) The staff are attentive, friendly and accommodating. I am often accompanied by my 2 year old daughter who like most 2 year olds if a bundle of energy. The staff always take the time to interact with her and make her expirience enjoyable.

Best burgers in Bath, 100% recommend eating the entire menu twice.

The Best Buns (and Burgers) in the Business! The buns are so light that I don't feel like I'm filling up too much, so and can leave room for sides. Mac & Cheese and Fried Pickles are banging! Lovely atmosphere and super friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Ordered for delivery, very disappointed for the price of £15 a burger when it arrived it was an average quarter pounder ,expected a half pound for that price,the burger was black and burnt around edges with a smear of sauce and onions ! loaded bronx fries were cold mush..we spent £38.00 on 2 burgers and 1 portion of fries ,will stick to 5 guys or magu in future.

Doesn’t even deserved 1 star!!!!!!!! Went to Bath, to go to Milk Bun with a friend for dinner and booked a table on First and make a special trip for this! But sadly, it was very disappointing. We arrived 5 minutes early to the restaurant, all the lights were off. We waited 5 minutes until our reservation and hoped a member would open up the restaurant. 15 minutes went by nothing had opened up. I decided to phone to Bristol Branch as the Bath phone number was engaged. Whilst on the phone, the staff member said the restaurant is closed?? And wasn’t going to be opening. Why accept our booking if it’s not opening or at least let us know and not let us travel 1 hour to reach the destination. Absolute joke! Not impressed at all. I’d been looking forward to visiting Milk Bun for a while and had expected a much better experience!! I will not be recommending!

This place is touted as the best burger joint in town by someone I know. I went on a Wednesday but did not realize that it closes Mon-Wed. Will try again next time.

Thai place is pretty great. Starting with the ambiance. The place is modern and plays lively hip hop music. The sevruga was prompt and friendly. The we ordered chicken wings, Bronx Fries, Bronx Chicken Burger, Bronx Burger, Mac n cheese and veggie burger. All people loved their food. Good portions, high quality, and very tasty. Wish this place was in London bc we would be here all the time. Relaxed atmosphere and brought a child. Hope to stop by again sometime when back visiting Bath.

Absolutely love this place, this is our 4th visit since it’s opened and every time we go we have such a fun time! The burgers are on another level, play lists and ambience are so on point and in Harry you get someone who is so great at making you feel comfortable you can tell he just wants you to have a good time! Our latest visit was for my wife’s birthday and it was her choice (she doesn’t even like burgers) but makes an exception for Milk Bun! Keep up the good work guys! DC

Finally made it here after 6 months of meaning to! The burgers were exceptional, I had the el chapo which was great - I was a bit scared when I saw just how many chillis had been added to the top, but it balanced really well. The portions of chips are HUGE, and the loaded chips were awesome! Also loved the deep fried pickle. I'm sure we'll be back!

First experience Milk Bun.....cool place and décor. The food was excellent, really enjoyed the burger. All the sides were very tasty. Will definitely be going back!

Food was incredible, if you’re happy to wait an hour for it to arrive. Drinks were really good and people working here very nice. Did get an order wrong but corrected it and had the wrong burger for free. Could be a great place to eat if they tighten up the cooking time and maybe employ some more staff.

SERIOUSLY good burgers. Contenders for best fried pickles too. And let’s not mention the loaded fries…. Amazing. Top it all off by having local beer legends Electric Bear on tap. This place is beyond amazing.

Asked to speak to them directly in JANUARY about a poor experience in resturant and they can’t even be bothered to respond. Great management. Initially when arriving we found there was no high for for our young child, which just made it really awkward for us, ikea high chairs are £15 so no excuse to be honest! These seem to be the industry standard in majority of places The food arrived and wasn’t very warm at all, burger didn’t have much taste, bun was soggy, mine was supposed to have some sort of onions or something in it and the “bigger” option but when arrived was basically same as my partners with some sauce in? The loaded fries also wasn’t very warm and completely soggy and inedible really, I get it they have cheese sauce but they shouldn’t be some soggy squashy lump of potato Our bill was £49 if I remember correctly, for two of us, which for what we actually had was extremely poor, we left feeling almost robbed and completely dissatisfied by the whole experience Other than the poor food I cannot complain about the service and the staff are really lovely!

In the short time Milk Bun has been open we've fast become regular customers. The burgers are delicious - the Fumo is such a nice balance of flavours and the chicken burgers have an amazing crunch to the coating - but the sides are truly next level. Get a Bronx fries to share and you can't go wrong, though I love to throw in a Slaw - it's super fresh and crunchy. Recently had a 12 person birthday meal there and the whole group was wowed by the food.

The food was unfortunately underwhelming for it's overwhelming price. The service was slow with under trained staff, followed by a small, cold burger with no sides. The beef patty was over-cooked in my opinion with a very hard black edge and the renowned bun was comparable to a stale brioche bun. However, the staff was understanding and dealt with the situation in a professional manor.

Went to Milk Bun for the first time last night and I was definitely not disappointed. I had a double el chapo burger which was incredible, 10/10! The mac and cheese, fried pickles and bronx fries were great too, especially the mac and cheese! The fried chicken thighs we succulent and flavoursome. Overall a great experience, with top quality food and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back soon.

Went here a couple of Saturday’s ago for a late lunch, unfortunately it was a mixed experience. The staff that was on that day had a slow service and a air of rudeness about them. One guy behind the bar (short black hair, think maybe a manager? As see a lot behind bar most days ) had clean glasses at the bar, we saw him pick his nose then used same finger to wipe the glass and put on tables….we were so shocked! This happened after we ate the burgers but made us feel bit unwell as we drank out of the water cups! As for the burgers, they were nice, beef was good produce, however it’s a shame a side does not come with the burger for the price, averaged at £18 pp for burger and side (not including drink). Was hoping for a better experience given that going out these days is a luxury…

I found Milk Bun to be quite overpriced for what you get as the burgers are actually pretty small and not really unique. I had seen people raving about the burgers but honestly, I've had better for half the price. It is not child friendly, as there are no high chairs or kids menu. This is fine and I appreciate maybe Milk Bun don't want children to visit, but just say that so families know what to expect.

not very good - tiny vegan burgers, forgot half of the order and didn't check if we needed anything else. service wasn't great, felt a bit ignored then automatic service charge on the bill. probably wouldn't go again unfortunately. maybe teething problems?!

The food and atmosphere were both good. However, the staff was not attentive, and we had to chase them down. Since I was dissatisfied with the service and the food took too long to arrive, service charges should be optional rather than mandatory.

I wish there was a no stars because this restaurant deserves a complete 0 rating. Not child friendly at all! A restaurant with no high chairs or baby changing?? Ermm ok IKEA sell high chairs for £15 go and buy one? AWFUL experience. We paid £45 for 2 burgers and chips the burgers are so small “The Fumo” is apparently suppose to be bigger than the normal bronx burger they are EXACTLY the same just with some different rubbish bbq sauce. The Bun was soggy and the chips were a sloppy mess. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother with this place. Not setting a good impression considering it’s a new restaurant.

Really great burgers, some unusual combinations on the menu, but they definitely work. Food came out a bit slowly, but we weren’t in a hurry. A bit out of the way but worth the trip.

Pictures make the items look much bigger than they actually are. They are tiny for the price they expect. The Mac and cheese just tastes like eating spoonfuls of mustard followed by the bad aftertaste of poor quality cheese. I don’t waste food normally, but I couldn’t even get half way through the Mac and cheese. Not worth the money at all

Holy Moses. Genius, Genius, GENIUS. I love me a frickle (fried pickle) but people always over batter it. Not here my friends. A beautiful light batter with a crunch in the pickles- MWAH chefs kiss! And the sriracha mayo is sublime as a dip. But the pièce de résistance- the Pablo burger. Double bacon, chilli jam, pink onions and a beautifully cooked patty. Topped off with peanut butter- I know! I never knew I could enjoy something this much, I’m thinking of marrying it. I’d give it 10/10 if I could. Great service too- thanks guys!
