Reviewing as the new (?) Barton Street Pizza. We had a takeaway âForagerâ, it was fantastic. Had a drink outside while waiting, staff friendly, canât fault it! Who would have thought peas on a pizza would be so good! Would definitely go back.
We first found this little gem in November 2023, during a yearly all male trip to the Forest of Dean. We enjoyed it so much we revisited in our way home!
We visited again last night, the standard and quality of the most authentic Indian cuisine is always of the highest standard and the service is simply incredible. This family run restaurant go above and beyond to ensure that all Diner's have the best experience! We now look forward to our yearly trip even more as this is now a tradition for us to include as a visit during our trip! Long may they continue!
I called in recently, this historic pub and it's beer garden are looking a little tired. The service was prompt , very friendly staff and locals..There is a great selection of drinks but not food apart from bar snacks. There are live music and quiz nights.
It's a just walk to the station.
Thete isn't much parking outside but there is a car park just a couple of minutes walk uphill. I don't there is access for a wheelchair. Ladies toilets are up a flight of stairs.
Dog friendly.

I was surprised by the great reviews because the food was appalling. We had squid, patatas bravas, bread and olives all of which disappointed. The squid and potatoes were very greasy. The squid was oil and batter, it was a struggle to find the squid and when you did, you wish you hadn't. The oil didn't taste like olive oil, it was flavourless. The bread was not sourdough. The olives were so disappointing, no flavour at all. There was nothing Spanish about this meal. We left it uneaten.
Fantastic lunch with family. 5/5 for food and service. Thank you to Giuseppe, Sarah and the team, for looking after us. A great start to the season's excesses!!
Spent weekend here in our motorhome Friday and Saturday night, great food lovely atmosphere had Pizza Friday which was superb and chicken skewers on the Saturday with great live music in the garden. David and Louise are superb hosts and should be celebrated, coming back at the end of July
This is the best bakery in town. In my opinion it has the best Chai Latte and the most delicious almond and cherry croissants. The service is always friendly and the variety of pasties and pastries are fab! Highly recommend if you havenât visited yet!
Super friendly cafe in a perfect spot for sitting amongst the Gorge scenery - tried the Cheddar ice cream, it was definitely a taste sensation for cheese lovers :-)
Very good homemade affordable food and very friendly staff. I work with people with learning difficulties and every time i bring them in the staff are brilliant. Top job, thanks đ
