The best restaurants in South West

Finally got around to going for a meal with my son and a friend. Wow! Wish id come here sooner. Lovely atmosphere (im noise sensitive and it was perfect, not echoey, not too loud, music playing not annoying, can hear everyone on table perfectly no shouting). The food was out of this world. Between the three of us we had calamari, olives and pork loin starters (perfect sizes), mains of lamb shoulder in apricots and almonds (not too nutty just perfect), and a calamari main. Calamari is really difficult to do right but this place has nailed it. Not rubbery or undercooked at all. Had coffee and a sour cherry and greek yoghurt dessert…. Heaven! Restaurant is spotlessly clean, chair cushions proper fabric not plastic ( i hate plastic ones where you stick to the seat ), restaurant was a comfortable temperature for us, no need to wear a thick jumper for dinner like in some places. Just a perfect meal in a perfect restaurant. Cannot sing praises enough. Staff friendly and checked back on us. Everything timely and not rushed. 5 stars!

Celebramos el 60 cumpleaños de mi pareja aquí y ¡qué noche maravillosa! Fuimos atendidos magníficamente por el camarero joven, muy agradable, elocuente y conocedor, un gran crédito para él por su atención. El menú era variado y todos los platos sonaban deliciosos, las elecciones que todos hicimos estaban muy bien presentados y exquisitos. El ambiente era simplemente perfecto y nos complace mucho decir que una noche maravillosa fue tenido por todos. Muchas gracias a todo el personal involucrado con nuestra noche.

Great service and great food, picked this place at random the first night of a two night stay and were not disappointed. Staff looked after us well without being over attentive. The food was well presented and more importantly well prepared and very tasty. My wife chose the minute steak and was not disappointed. We enjoyed the experience so much we went back on the second night as well! Thank you all at the Aqua Brasserie for two nights of great food and fab cocktails!

Wonderful cafe. Delicious food, presented beautifully. Great value. Breakfasts, frittatas, soups and more served til 3pm.

Best food I've had in a while 🤤🤤🤤🤤. I ordered the pizza it was amazing...... Loved the smell of the beach. Dead cheap as well. I making all of these ratings today because I've got this scrap book from places I've been in 10 years. And I've decided to put them all on Google.

Always a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent Sunday lunch , and always served with a smile. Very good value for money.

What an amazing find ! Fantastic food, menu, drinks, and atmosphere. Not many places get so busy on a Monday lunchtime so we knew we'd found a hidden gem. Try the croque monsieur and the vegan cider - match made in heaven. Thanks to chef and all the staff - we will be back soon 😍 Katie & Ollie

Impresionante menú degustación y gran servicio. Para nuestro aniversario, decidimos regalarnos el menú degustación y nos quedamos muy impresionados. Los platos eran deliciosos y las combinaciones de sabores eran muy complementarias entre sí. Esta fue una de las mejores comidas que hemos tenido y es un restaurante, que recomendaría encarecidamente! La decoración era inusual, sin embargo cálido y acogedor. Los platos se cocinaron muy bien. El personal también era amable y conocedor de la comida.

Always consistent great service and value for money

Came here for lunch with friends on a Friday. Parking wasn’t easy - had to park down the road and walk back. We reserved for 1.30 since they close the kitchen at 2pm. We had a lovely welcome and a nice quiet table. Excellent beer with Timothy Taylors and very good selection of food. We had Liver and Onion, Seabass fillet and Bely of Pork plus a wine or beer each. The quality and quantity was excellent and good value @<£25 each. Fully recommend

OUTSTANDING! Went on recommendation from a local. Had no real expectations. We were blown away by the whole experience. Great vibes, amazing service and food fantastic ( and not expensive) all round great experience 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
