We have enjoyed several pleasant evenings at the Seaview Inn, socialising with family and friends.  Located on the terraces overlooking the harbour, it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, well worth the short climb. It's also incredibly dog friendly with doggy treats kept on the end of the bar & long may this last. One of our family has coeliac disease and appreciates the availability of the draught Helles lager, which is gluten-free but not yet certified as such. Initially, we received some conflicting information from the staff regarding its gluten-free status.  This is not a lifestyle choice, but a necessary dietary restriction with serious health consequences if not adhered to, so staff training in this area would be beneficial as the information needs to be 100% accurate as with any other serious allergy.  It is wonderful, however, that a gluten-free beer is available on tap.  We prefered the more basic 'pub grub' food at sensible prices before, and prices have increased since the recent change in ownership, so we no longer dine as much. The drink selection, however, has significantly improved from the previous landlords basic 'run of the mill' selection to an interesting choice of refreshments. However, a doubles-bar on spirits would be nice sometimes and may be the difference between making an effort to visit the pub or the easier & cheaper option of opening the spirits cabinet at home.

A lovely old fashioned pub with progressive beers from local brewery Verdant. The food is great and the harbour views to the front of the pub are some of the best in Falmouth.

Friendly staff. Decent food with a good choice. Beer selection was good as well. From previous visits, I know that when it's nice outside, the view is amazing.

Unfortunately the beers are really pale and hoppy and not to my taste with no darker and malty alternatives so this puts me off going to what used to be my regular pub!

Nice pub with decent real ale on handpull. Friendly, helpful staff. Panoramic views across the harbour and over to the Roseland Peninsula. Haven for university students over term-time.

Cozy pub with fantastically tasty beer and burgers. The room was nice, spacious and the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was varied and the vegan British breakfast was very tasty.

No good GF beer. A let down compared to other places in Falmouth, like the Moth, Boathouse, 'Front and Beerwolf that often have a GF beer on tap.

One of the best pubs in Falmouth but a little out of the way and not the easiest to find. Excellent views across the estuary due to it's position high on the hill.

My family of four rented two of the rooms which were comfortable and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and there is a little set up of coffee and tea available in each room. We really enjoyed the breakfast the next morning, which was very hearty and cooked to perfection. The bar underneath was cozy and had plenty of drink options with a lively vibe. We felt it was really good value for money and would definitely see about staying there again on another trip to This beautiful town.

This was easily the best dinner we've had in St. Ives, and we've tried a lot of places! (I kind of started the burrata before taking the picture)

Weekday evening here, a very welcoming bar area with open fire, staff very polite and efficient. Good choice of food with a set menu plus ‘a la cart’ as well. The food was really lovely, and reasonably priced, along with good choice of drinks from the bar.

We had the most fabulous festive afternoon, we wanted to say a massive thanks to the whole Indidog team who worked so incredibly hard trying their best to fit in the number of people who wanted to enjoy the vibe and hear the fabulous Falmouth Gospel Choir. As soon as we saw that you were holding this event we booked a table to eat for mid afternoon. The Festive Menu was absolutely gorgeous, one of the best eating out Christmas Turkey meals we have had. Even though it was super busy the whole team worked their socks off, weaving through the people with drinks and a smile. We were sat directly behind the couple who have just posted a review and we wanted to share our experience. We were in the restaurant from 2.30 and as it started to fill up people were allowed to stand in certain places and as soon as tables were available they were, in turn, directed to a seat. The couple in front of of us were seated and the lady decided to stand, for a lot of the time she was stood directly in front of our table which meant that my elderly mum couldn’t see anything. We chose not to say anything as we wanted to focus on the lovely music and vibe. To our right was a large table of people and we heard Simon explain that they would need to vacate the table as it was booked from 6.00. The waitress also explained this to us when we ordered our last round of drinks. We could hear Simon explaining to the couple in front of us that the table was booked from 6.00, and this is why no more orders etc could be taken, we heard the whole conversation and it was clear that despite the perfectly reasonable explanation the lady was not at all happy with what she was hearing. It was really sad as it was the Choirs last song and the theme was all about peace and understanding. I wanted to share this perspective as I feel the purpose of a review is to share what you experienced and what I saw was a team working incredibly hard to accommodate as many people as they could whilst balancing the needs of customers that have booked for the evening service.
