This is a brilliant neighbourhood boozer. If I lived in Bristol it would be my local.
Fantastic well kept real ale sensible prices.
We visited late on a Saturday evening and the place was full. Always a good sign.
Occasionally visit this country pub with great food as a convenient meeting point for family members from various directions.
Booked lunch on Good Friday to find them short staffed and very busy.
But a huge shout-out to the lady on duty who was serving drinks, taking table orders, running food and didn't stop smiling or apologising for any delays, even when we all ordered teas and coffees afterwards.
Food was excellent and definitely recommend.
The pasties were very poor. Meat was all grizzle and not edible. Pastry was barely cooked. Worst pasty we've had. I'm surprised they advertise them as "banging". I wouldn't recommend.
Visiting from Canada and come here every time we visit Bristol. Locals don’t know how good they have it here. Had the special today which included a coffee or tea. Amazing thick slice toast supplied by a local bakery, a perfectly cooked over easy egg (with a beautiful yoke), a generous portion of english bacon and a sausage. Also included tomato and beans. We’ve travelled all over Europe in the past 5 weeks and the value for the quality and quantity of food is second to none. We were greeted and served by the owner and her staff who were friendly, attentive and efficient. We’ll be back for lunch tomorrow before leaving town. Thank you Riverside Cafe for your hospitality and kindness. So nice to have a home style meal away from home.
We have wanted to dine at Williams Kitchen but never arranged to, WOW, we all experienced a very enjoyable evening, 3 x swordfish which was extremely good and I ordered the lobster which so nice, finished with some very pleasant dessert’s and coffee. A very nice Pouilly Fume to accompany the food. Staff were very friendly and polite, huge compliments to the chef and kitchen staff. Quite expensive but so worth it. Thankfully we live quite local.
Went in late last night, left with probably the spiciest meal I have ever eaten. Usually I wouldn't push through but it was absolutely delicious, such great flavours. Owner was very generous too, highly recommend! Huge selection of dishes.

Everything was great apart from the mac and cheese! Hence the 4 stars! Sorry I was disappointed by the Mac’s lack of flavour! However the burgers and other sides were excellent! I’ve been back several times! Get the pork Nugs!
We were here for the filming of a Chris Payn pop video. The breakfasts looked delicious, but we're used as props, so we couldn't eat them! We had a fantastic time. Great venue.

Visited Moments Café located in middle of Plymouth City Centre, with 2 floors accessible to both wheelchair users & customers with pushchairs; front entrance with automatic double doors & lift available on left hand side. Ground floor tastefully decorated with 50's, 60's & 70's memorabilia & 1st floor with 80's, promoting great conversation.
Café has good range of hot/cold beverages & meals at reasonable costs, including vegan, vegetarian & gluten free options. All items locally sourced within Devon/Cornwall & profits donated to Memory Matters. Whatever age, young or old, there's something for everyone.
A gem of a Café, serving delicious food by friendly staff, in a well kept & clean setting, highly recommend.
This Café is no ordinary Café & offers so much more. Having had relative in family suffering Alzheimer's/vascular dementia, it's wonderful that Moments Café are dedicated to such charities as Memory Matters, as well as encouraging customers to purchase a meal & or beverage that can be donated via vouchers for those less fortunate - an excellent scheme.
Cracking fish and chips. Fish was large and fresh and the chips crisp, all piping hot. We sat in the window of the actual chippy and thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The location overlooking the harbour is perfect. The hotel itself has been refurbished to an extremely high standard the decor is tasteful creating a wonderful ambience. We stayed in a King room with a view of the harbour . The bed was really comfortable the room spotlessly clean, the bathroom was spacious and high quality toiletries were provided. The breakfast was first class lots of choice and good quality ingredients. The staff couldnt be more accommodating or cheerful. We would definitely return and would highly recommend to family and friends. Jane and Tyrel Bennett

ordered 2 hrs before delivery time , still late however not the worst thing. Shashlik chicken was extremely dry to a point I couldn't eat it. other meals in the past have been good so this was very disappointing
