I have not been here for a while, in fact at least a year, but on a shopping trip in town today it was raining so I popped into moments cafe for a black coffee and a egg and bacon roll, it was delicious, if I have time again soon, I will pop in again on the weekend, many thanks from K.bane.

A great place for a catch up or just a bit of peace! Lovely atmosphere very welcoming for everyone, prices are reasonable and no pressure to leave! They even filled my teapot with hot water, brilliant, no charge either 🙂❤

Finally I ventured inside after plucking up the courage to do something alien to me. So what did I think? Well I was nervous as it was a new place with new people and I felt a bit out of place but when I got to the counter I was greeted by a lovely smile by the staff member which put me at ease. I had viewed the menu previously so knew I was going to order the bread and butter pudding (solo) and an americano coffee. It was very reasonably priced too at just over £7 and I took my seat in the corner near the door. So was it worth it? Although the bread and butter pudding was different to what I remember from my younger years it was very tasty and was offered with either ice cream, custard or clotted cream which I declined. The coffee was a standard coffee to me and wasn't anything to write home about. The best part for me about my visit was the welcoming staff, relaxed atmosphere and cool decor with 12" vinyls covering the walls going up the stairs and lots of vintage items like tvs which are all provided to help customers who are experiencing memory issues. Overall I'm glad I overcame my cowardice to pop in and I'm sure it won't be the only time.

Really can recommend this place. Been several times. Do a very good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Lovely staff. Coffee is also good. Toilets lovelyvand clean too.

Attended some mental health meetings here and it's such a lovely, calm and relaxing vibe. The choice of food and drinks are great, well priced and good value for money. The best thing about Moments, is that the profits go towards support for Alzheimer's. Such a noble cause and a wonderful way to help.

I have never eaten here, but my auntie said its the best breakfast shes ever had. My experience with them is with room booking. The staff are amazing so helpful. Damien and Georgia have been brilliant and have been really responsive. I have had to make changes to the bookings due to things changing my end on multiple occasions and nothing is too much trouble. Thankyou team.

Brilliant cafe with nice food, coffee and cake. They also have an amazing paybit forward scheme for the homeless etc and do amazing things for the community.

Dementia friendly, unlike adult social care Plymouth!

Always a warm welcome. Only had coffees in here as meet my book group upstairs. Coffees delivered to table so no need to wait. Food looks good from what I have seen.

I always go to the moments café whenever I go into Plymouth town centre as my eldest sister has Alzheimer's and every donation helps financially towards the dementia charities the staff are brilliant they always make every customer very welcome and comfortable they cater for everybody from the very young to the older community regardless of they dietary needs

Me and my mother love to pop into here if were in shopping. Always good value for money with lovely staff. Also like looking at all the nostalgia items.

Really really great service, atmosphere and food. With it being a dementia friendly venue the staff are amazing and patient. It's an absolute hidden gem of a cafe but for dementia sufferers and their families it's a godsend. It's well spaced out and the different areas are set out in decades. The little memory joggers dotted around are a lovely touch too. Thank you

Liked the atmosphere..bit quieter than some centre city places. Food OK..nice cakes...but no GF lunches.

Ordered 2 toasted sandwiches and a round of cheese on toast tock over 40 min to get it to the table. Tables that ordered after receiving full cooked breakfast before we received ours. Waited 20 minutes for two canned drinks and two fruit shoots.

This is a really nice cafe with loads of space and lovely staff. I enjoyed my veggie sausage bap, however my vanilla latte tasted like there was more syrup than coffee in it!

Lovely cafe- nicely decorated with items over the years. We went for breakfast. A full english and bubble and squeak. It was delicious. Just the right amount. It was lovely and hot. Great to see cafe having dairy free options for milk, soya or oat milk. I am sure we will be back, when we are in the city. X x

Great service reasonable prices great well cooked food

Always try to visit when in Town, clean ( including toilets) spacious, lots of interesting items around and all to help dementia patients. Food and drink also good quality, fair prices, but best thing is the ever helpful and cheerful staff, easy 5 stars. Nearly forgot good free wi fi.

What a brilliant idea, loved sitting in the sixties themed area, only had coffee and a sandwich but they were both delicious.

We wandered into this cafe quite by accident really but what a find....it was lovely! There was a lovely atmosphere, the staff were super...hard working & friendly...and the menu very varied. Our meal was beautifully cooked. We thought it was some kind of hub and on reading their web page later realised just what a well run & thought out community base it is. We love the social ethos behind it and we shall definitely visit again!

Used to be lovely visiting this café...but prices are now too high and the breakfasts we had wasn't enjoyable. Will return for coffee only.

A very pleasant place to meet as I was with a group of 8 who hadn't met for a couple of years. Coffees, tea and cakes were excellent and the staff friendly and very professional. A regular meeting place from now on.

Today I ordered cream tea - a fruit scone and a small cup of latte. Firstly the price is reasonable. The portion and taste is perfect for one. The taste and texture of their homemade fruit scone with fluffy cream is delightful. The latte is good. Looking for nice and relaxing cafe to hide away from the vibrant city Plymouth, this place shouldn’t be missed. Also, the staffs are all pleasant and polite. I’ll them 5/5. Looking to try some more of their homemade bakery.

Very friendly place to have a nice coffee etc.

I went to this cafe for lunch today.........won’t be going again! Cappuccino looked good, nice and hot, but totally devoid of any flavour, toasted cheese and ham sandwich......thin sliced bread, cheese was tasteless, there was ham in it, but you couldn’t taste it. Cost was £9, Marks and Spencer cafe would be roughly the same, but the coffee would be divine and the toasted sandwich would be superb, say no more!

Went for all day breakfast - excellent food and cafe. Great cause (offering a pay it forward scheme which I highly recommend) and funky atmosphere.

Regular meeting place for my friends and I as its such a safe and comfortable cafe, oh and the food and drink is great too!

Had a omelette and coffee brilliant prices. The staff go out of there way to be friendly to you and are super efficient. I will defo be coming here again beats the rest hands down. Love the choice of music by the way mone of this rubbish from today. Once again the right balance in every way a definite hit on your hands. Don't know why i didn't see you sooner. However I've been here on a few occasions since and I would Like to add that I think the Food has gone down hill I had a breakfast it had a raw sausage when I had a quiet word as I didn't want to make a scene I was spoken to very rudely by the chef with the glasses. There have been a few occasions where the food has been a bit questionable of late. I also observed that there was 1 girl running around doing all the work when the others were standing around the counter giggling doing nothing when tables and and floors needed cleaning. When you having a restaurant there's always something to be done. I have noticed when the younge staff are present they haven't got the same attitude as the older ones.

Friendly staff, but felt rushed as they were closing up. Cakes were not as fresh as they may of been earlier. But loved the set up and arrangement of vintage furniture.

Love this place! Dementia friendly, open to anyone. Stafford always smiling and helpful. Rooms upstairs can be booked for meeting etc and are always clean and well provided with refreshments. Lovely atmosphere and food great.

Lovely coffee and home made cakes with friendly staff. Also joined with a Dementia friendly project and help group. Carer and sufferer friendly.

I have been to the moments cafe several times. I always enjoy going, the people who work there are very understanding with my disabilities. I have been there with my mother in law who also needed extra help during to sight problems, and we didn't feel that we were being too much of a problem, (I have been places where I have felt that!) Today I also went to the memory hub for advice, and was greeted in a friendly manner and was listened to.

Fantastic place to have a coffee or to hire out a room. We hired out a room and it was set up very nicely with plenty of space for social distancing. Hospitality was great :)

I was made to pay for a coffee before recieving it like i was a thief, and also i was dissallowed to pay with cash. Terrible experience. Never comming back to here as it was not only insulting but really unenjoyable.
