We have ordered corma and dopiaza curry. Coconut rice and vegetables rice. Plain naan. Naan soggy, cold, chewy, definitely had much better than this. Both Coconut and corma curry very sweet. Both had undercooked chicken. It was hard. Definitely won't use again.

every time we get this takeaway it is perfect. the food is hot and extremely tasty, i reccomend the chicken tikka passanda and sag paneer. The staff are super friendly. In general i would say it’s one of the best takeaways in plymouth, definately the best we’ve ever had !!

Went to collect my order, drove back to the hotel. Opened up and first realised I didn't get my chutney no problem it's only a pot of chutney. Dive deeper hello a extra box whats this? wings? I didn't order wings?. Bonus for missing out my chutney. The chicken in the curry was hard and not too appealing the sauce was okay, the rice was okay. But funnily enough the wings were the best part of the whole meal. For the horrible chicken in the curry. Low rating for me shame as was best rated.

Waited for over an hour and a half, looking forward to my first meal from here only to be very disappointed, I ordered a chicken madras which had no flavour and was watery certainly won’t recommend and most definitely won’t be ordering from here again

Food is always amazing from this Indian, so much flavour, and always taste fresh. Always use this place, never go anywhere else. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming every time I go in.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. The food is delicious and the portions are plentiful. I hadn’t used this takeaway in a while but when I popped in for a Madras (and all the trimmings) the other week, I soon realised the error of my ways. If you get your Indian from here, you’re in for a treat.

Our first order for delivery came,the mint sauce was gone off and the salad was mushy and brown,the curry was ok but very disappointed overall, won't order from here again,you would think they'd know if they had off mint sauce and salad. Grim.

Simply awesome food and service. I placed my order, shortly after was called to confirm. Id accidentally ordered chicken tikka, however I should have ordered chicken tikka masala. Hadn’t they have called, I’d have been disappointed. They even added some wings to my order, all of which was superb. Being a chef myself, I do appreciate well cooked food and all of mine was superb. Thank you team Dolas Indian kitchen, I will be returning!!

Worst meal we've had in years, very acid tasting, poor meat and smallish portions. The peshwari naans were very plain. Did not seem like a fresh mushroom rice. What a waste of £25, however delivery itself was good, and meal was hot.

Excellent customer service, quick delivery and fast taking order. They go above and beyond to make sure your dish is always perfect. This was 1x chicken Malayan and 1x pilau rice which served 2 people! Incredible portion sizes.

Best curry we've had in years, so pleased we gave Dolas a to try a couple of weekends ago and tonight again, it's definitely our Saturday night treat now - very fast delivery, and very tasty food, big portions, plenty of meat, you will not be disappointed

A very high quality take away. Food is delicious, never too oily, each dish we have tried is different. Many restaurants/take away quite often use the same base sauce and the only difference is the name! Not Dolas, really good food. Not a duff dish yet! Would high recommend (last point to note, much better value than other highly rated local Indian restaurants that deliver in the Plymouth area)

Avoid!!! Don’t know what’s happened here used to be really good! Ordered for delivery at 18:50 was told 45 mins nearly 2 hours later after chasing 4 times it turn up with a dish missing and was cold to eat! Was also told they would refund me with cash through my door, guess what no refund!! Spend £48 avoid!!

We used this for our New Year’s Eve party with family, we had a very big order and Dolas were very organised and helpful with arranging collection, allowing us to text our order before hand. Food was lovely and we had big portions for what we paid! Will definitely be returning!

Wow just wow ordered on just eat my husband had the phaal and it was extra hot like stated normally when ordered from elsewhere it's been too mild will definitely order from them again also got a free order when ordering over a certain amount our new favourite Indian take away

Fantastic food, friendly staff, 5 stars. We don't get a takeaway very often but ordered a meal from here last night and the food was superb. I especially like the fact that they let you order individual pots of pickles and sauces which allowed us to get a ridiculous amount of mint sauce. One of the best curries I've had in a long time.

Out of all of the curry places in Plymouth this seems to be the best. Go for collection and you will see it all being cooked fresh by the family in charge.

We've ordered take out from Dolas twice now and it's always been amazing, fresh, fragrant food. I had homemade curried vegetable pastries called Shingara and a delicious Shatkora curry, neither of which I've had before and they were both soo good. No sickly sweet artificial or greasy sauces. Great menu and service. Thank you so much. This is definitely our new favourite Indian in the Plymouth North area.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE THEY WILL STEAL UR MONEY I rang up to put an order in gave bank details to pay over the phone he then said it didn’t go through so we ended the phone to order online instead to then find on online banking the payment of £40 did go through I proceeded to ring the takeaway back up to say it went through to the man being violent and rude telling me to call the police and to come to his shop to show the bank statement my brother went down the shop and showed the bank statements and the man refused to give us our food or a refund and said if we wanted our food to pay again

Ordered for 6.30 and received at 5.50 before anyone was here to eat it. Only offer when I called was they would keep it warm if I sent it back. Won't use again

Terrible service ordered food waited an hour past delivery time phoned twice still no delivery would give zero stars if possible don't order from here worst service I've ever had they have taken the money and not delivered the service that js not ok

Having just moved to the area I was a little concerned it may take me a while to find an Indian take away that I would be happy with due to being so pleased with our previous supplier, however we have been really impressed with the quality of the food tonight & are very much looking forward to trying more, in the not too distant future.

Tried this takeaway for the first time last night and was very pleased. Food was hot and delicious. Generous portions, infact kept some of mine for the next day. Staff were very friendly. Definitely will be going there again.

This was possibly the best takeaway we’ve every had! And we’ve had loads! .. we are from Eastbourne down here on holiday, this was exactly the same king prawn madras we used to get in our local Ashoka restaurant. Everything we ordered was lovely , the delivery guy was great as we we were staying in the middle of know where ,he gave us a call and we guided him in , totally recommend this takeaway 5star!!!! 😋

Absolutely incredible food! Fabulous selection of different dishes to choose from. Arrived quickly and was steaming hot! Flavours were amazing, with a wonderful selection of vegetables in the vegetarian dish and melt in the mouth, tender lamb in the meat dish. Spicing was perfect for what we ordered and pricing was extremely fair. One of the best Indian takeaways we have ever had! Highly recommended. Its our new favourite for a curry! No soggy poppadoms here! And best of all, direct delivery, no deliveroo etc! Thank you!

Absolutely disgusting, I thought i would support local business. I placed an order at 18.30 pm , was given a time of 19.15 - 19.45 i then checked and it was before 20.00 ... i called and was told by the lady on the phone it was on its way, delay due to the rain! 21.00 came still no food, called again another 3 times, the poor lad it was her first day, who was lovely said it was on its way, still no food, nearly 21.50 i called again, to be told the manager was bringing it, as they only had 1 driver. The popadoms were soggy when the food arrived, i said to the manager this was disgusting, i opened my food, no starters, no mint sauce, food was cold, it was awful. i will never use them again. in fact I am going to the shop tomorrow to get a FULL refund. GUYS DONT TOUCH THEM, CROWNHILL IS MUCH BETTER.

Placed an order for 6 people as a birthday dinner. 90 minutes after we ordered, contacted them for a delivery update, to be told they're running a bit late as they're unexpectedly busy. Fair enough. Sent another message 30 minutes later for another update; no reply. Manged to get through on the phone nearly 3 hours after we ordered to be told it's on its way. Food arrived and everything was cold, so had to be reheated in the microwave. Fish fingers ordered for my son were completely inedible and deep fried to within an inch of their lives. All the breads ordered were missing from the order completely. If you're that busy, you can at least take 30 seconds to update your customers. First and last time I'll ever order from here.

The best Indian takeaway we've ever had. Food always arrives piping hot and with a smile. The food is so delicious, try a different dish each time and have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend the onion bhajis!

The food was Exquisite” always enjoy an Indian , this is by far the best one I have found . They just naturally have the Niche and the Mrs was more than impressed with her food too , we had Several items of the menu and they all exceeded expectation of quality and look aesthetically pleasing on the Eye . Just wow no words can describe the Indian, apart from I've been looking for a decent place for a while and I can safely say I have found the best Indian in Plymouth, staff are friendly, the food is out of the world, highly rated and can't wait to return.

Have to say our meals bought last night Sunday 9th we’re absolutely beautiful. The portions were very generous the flavours were excellent and the young lady on the front desk was so pleasant and polite. I have had phall from Plymouth takeaways to ones as far as Glasgow. I have been eating Phall for over 20 years and never had one as good or as hot as I have from this restaurant. Absolutely incredible food and exceptional customer service. My new go-to Indian. Keep up the great work. EDIT: My next visit is tonight, bt this time I'm coming in to the shop 👍

Tonight my mum and myself ordered from here after hearing really good reviews about it I must say it lives up to the hype it was amazing really flavourful decent size portion’s and the mint sauce was the best we have ever had think we may have found our new takeaway treat

Had the best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had in Plymouth from this newly opened gem in Southway. It’s better than the Indian restaurants round here. They deliver as well . Price is about the same as other Indian takeaways but the flavors are a lot more authentic

This is the second time we have ordered from here, the food was lovely again but in the set meal we did not receive the onion bhaghis with the meal. I tried ringing the shop but no response I tried several times

Just had Tandoori King Prawns, great colour, smell & taste was excellent.... didn't get our full order, however, the complimentary vegetable curry & potatoes was a welcome surprise.....Next time will be Phall time 🤪😜

Ordered for the first time tonight and really glad that we did. The website was experiencing some issues so I called and the staff were very friendly. To make up for the mild inconvenience they reduced our bill by a significant amount. The food was delivered quickly and was really tasty. Very happy with our experience - thank you!

I ordered for the first time at the Indian Kitchen and was not able to collect immediately. It was an hour and a half later after I had initially ordered and I called to apologise and explain that I was running late. The staff were very understanding and hospitable and explained that this was not a problem and said that they would keep my food warm. I ordered chicken tikka masala, a phall, boiled rice, spicy tandoori wings and vegetable samosa. My children had the tikka masala (my youngest being 7 and oldest being 17) and both said that the chicken was very tender and enjoyable, along with the samosas. My phall had the intensity of the spice whilst also not overpowering the flavour of the dish. So happy to have a local Indian takeaway that not only can deliver outstanding excellence in its food, but also in customer service. Shall be returning soon! OUTSTANDING.
