The best restaurants in South West

We were not going to visit here because we were in an electric car and needed a charge but , as we came down the M5 , we saw that there was charging nearby and indeed there was , about 100 yards up the road . Whilst we all enjoyed the delicious fresh breakfast the car charged up and carried us on to Cornwall with no further need to charge . This will be our preferred breakfast stop from hereon , Our dog was allowed in and given fresh water and enjoyed a little sausage which might have slipped off our plates .

Food is good & reasonably priced, service is friendly & waiting time minimal.

I go twice each week and the service and food are first class. Highly recommended.

Lovely food served in a great environment.

A great cafe with a beautiful balcony to take in the sun. Lots of little ones running around and enjoying the playground next door! Their menu changes a lot. When I went there were four items on the menu. A bap (pictured), a soup, pre-made beans on toast and a rarebit. So the selection is small but the food was good. The bap was £10 and it came on its own so I would call that expensive. The coffee was great. Would go again but would hope for more options on the menu!

A proper pub. Great selection of real ales and ciders.

Probably one of the best curry’s I’ve had for ages! We booked a late table 10.15 but the service was great, when the curry arrived we were blown away !!!!!! The lamb saag was so tender and the chicken bhuna cooked to perfection. Honestly don’t hesitate to go here it’s exactly how curry should be. Well done guys absolutely fantastic!!!

Read the write thought …sounds good so off we went .,.3 English breakfasts later ..and lattes …didn’t come out straight away as was very busy …..on arrival presentation.. value..&meall 10/10…so well recommended….if there is room for improvement …maybe someone clearing tables and quick rub down …lovely staff …well done

We dropped by for dinner last night and were greeted by the lovely staff. Great food, great conversation and the pet were the icing on thed cake. Absolutely brilliant.

Lovely pub in the heart of the New Forest, spacious garden at the back. Open fire in the bar. Friendly staff.

Great coffee whenever I visit. The flat whites are superb! Love popping in for a takeaway coffee whenever I'm nearby.

Thai has always been my favourite cuisine but no matter where I go in the UK, nothing compares to this little slice of paradise. The food is exceptional and the setting unrivalled. It’s the only place me and my husband go to without speaking - because we are too busy eating. Don’t question it. Just book it!

Went for Sunday lunch at 3pm, so not the best time. Very noisy, bad acoustics. They had run out of several things on menu. Food was good though. Staff not very attentive. Not expensive.

Best fish and chips with the best view !
