The landlord and staff are always welcoming. The food is good, as is the selection of drinks.

Really enjoyed the food, great phone service. but the in-person service was a bit slow and took awhile to be helped.

I was very surprised to find this cafe right next to the canal. I really liked the breakfasts as they were homemade and in good quantity. They have cakes and pastries and the coffee is very good. The waitresses were lovely and I was impressed that they are animal friendly, allowing dogs to come in and sit on the chair with their owners. If I could give the staff 6 stars for service here I would. We had a lovely family Sunday lunch and everyone was happy to se us and made us feel welcome. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Off the High Street this was a fabulous find. Nice, seating arrangement, so elbows weren't in next table's plates. Three lovely breakfasts, friendly staff and beautiful cakes. Don't queue on the main street!

Just had a lovely meal here for our anniversary whilst on holiday. Rare to find a restaurant that does amazing food, but also caters for children and welcomes dogs. A relaxed, but classy place - excellent service, attentive staff and above all really good food. We loved it.

Wonderful pub. Stayed for 2 nights for a local wedding and couldn’t have had a more lovely time. We overslept on the second day (after the wedding) and missed breakfast, so they brought us a breakfast in bed! Many thanks and highly recommend

Lovely tapas food cooked to traditional standards. 35 per head with lots of wine.

Lovely pub - good beer, friendly and well run - perfect. But can get ‘a bit stuffy’ on cold winter nights when the doors and windows stay shut - a bit more ‘atmosphere’ than you might want, lol!
