The best restaurants in South West

Service was good , only had to wait 10 minutes on a fairly busy day, unfortunately I was disappointed with the pricing and the Portion sizing. Ordered a large chips and a regular chips, couldn't tell the difference ( Didn't get a picture of the two side by side) the picture below was a child's chicken nuggets and chips (£4.45). Portion size seems on the small side , also no drink included in that price. Used to visit Seafare all the time when we lived in the town, but as moved out of Minehead this was an impromptu visit and unfortunately the last.

Excellent service and food. Great value for money.

Visited for my birthday with 3 friends. We all had different dishes and we all loved our food. There was such a wide choice it took us all a long time to make up our minds.

We stopped off for a quick drink. The pub is cosy and comfortable. Good range of drinks and the menu looked good.

You have to have been taken to this place by someone in the know as its out of Wellington and tucked away from sight. Great interior and atmosphere, good menu although it bit too modern for my 90 year old mother so we stuck to coffee and cake which we're both delicious. Worth a trip.

absolutely delicious food - (the lobster, the venison broth and bread and the pumpkin desert were all standouts for me)and great wine pairings ( the dark heavy fruity red paired with the venison and all the light desert wines ) all enhanced by fantastic service from Nick who knew about each course and the wines and made us feel very welcome. id really recommend this place - and will definitely be back

Easy to book. Lots to choose from on the menu. Very friendly & professional staff and above all excellent, very good value for money pizzas! We will definitely be back.

Visited for a meal on News Years Eve. Really lovely food and staff were great. I have been a couple of times before and never been disappointed. Would recommend this place 😊

There are any coffee shops in Exeter with food...however...none compared to here...cheese and ham baguette was delicious...coffee very good ...just Cappuccino...but the waffle with cream and strawberry...makes my mouth water even now...TAG :-)

A very accommodating pub with a lovely lady behind the bar allowing our family to bring fish and chips in to the pub and have a few drinks. Lovely place with a great atmosphere.

The staff are incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I started with the Jhinga Peshwari, and my main dish, the Jalfrezi, was absolutely delicious and full of flavor – my favorite so far! The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions. I highly recommend visiting 1 Spice – you’ll absolutely love their food and exceptional service. A true gem in Devizes!

We had a Sunday lunch at the Halfway Inn. Had high expectations based on the good reviews. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. All of our Yorkshire puddings were burnt. Portions were quite small. The crumble for dessert was very tart and runny.

Food is nice and good service but very over priced. Went her for dinner with a few friends mid week, all the meats they bring out are nice and so is the salad bar but at £42 a head and all draft beers were conveniently unavailable they charge £9 for 600ml bottle of beer plus we had a service charge of nearly £50 on top of the bill. Been to a number of very similar restaurants in cities for fraction of the price. We split the bill and paid around £70 each. As previously said food was nice but won’t rush back again as just too expensive.
