Just attended Milker & Carter for Mothers day lunch, food was absolutely delicious, such a great menu. Beautiful cocktails and the frexinet was delicious. Service was spectacular, we had about 3 different people waiting the tables, and they couldn't of been any more helpful. Together with excellent company, we all had a lovely time and will definitely be back. Thank you all xx

It was amazing we I had a 8oz fillet and it was cooked to perfection and the pudding was soft and fluffy our waitress Chloe was polite and was very patient while we were waiting for the rest of the family.

Food arrived cold, estimated delivery was 15 minutes,arrived an hour or so after this…was not cheap so not impressed. Have no way to warm up the food! Restaurant did not pick up the phone after multiple attempts

My steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. We were served by Sam, she was lovely and nothing was too much trouble, including packing our deserts for takeaway.

Very disappointing birthday meal out for a friend. Service was really slow for a quiet restaurant on a Tuesday evening. My friend had to send her steak back first time for being rare when asked for medium rare to have it returned blue! We ended up removing it from the bill entirely. My friend ordered the prawn side and was met with foul tasting over cooked prawns. The steaks were flavourless. Overall we are a group of 5 very disappointed and felt the staff did the bare minimum to correct this. On the positive they did give us a celebratory birthday plate which we was told would be free however we did get charged. But we did have to ask them to clear the table first… To top it all off we couldn’t even pay at the table had to go to the bar. For a high end restaurant where we made the effort to dress up we are extremely disappointed.

Went to miller and carter near Taunton for our 1 ur anniversary. The atmosphere was lively but we could still hear ourselves talking. The staff were amazing and went the extra mile for us. Our waitress sam was amazing. The food tasted as good as it looked. Our steaks were cooked as we like them and were very tender.

We were well looked after by Sam as was every table that she severed. A wonderful welcoming woman.

We had a lovely three course set lunch meal here to celebrate my birthday. The food was cooked perfectly and our waiter, Bertrand, was very friendly and attentive throughout.

Stopped at Miller & Carter Taunton for lunch. Had a warm welcome from the manager. He found us a lovely table in a quiet area. Our table host was Kira and the service we received from her was exceptionally good. The steak was perfectly cooked and we had a wonderful lunch. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

It was our 3rd time coming back to this restaurant, the first couple times our experience has been poor. But Edward and team provided us with great service. Thank you to chef Adam for cooking all three of our steaks to perfection. Third time is a charm.

We arrived without a booking to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary as a family of 5. We were assisted by Keira, Michaela and Edward. As a family with various life threatening allergies and neurodiversities, we were guided through our safe options by Edward. He was extremely patient, knowledgable, thorough and reassuring. As a result we were able to dine in complete confidence and comfort. Edward was amazing as nothing was too much trouble. They were understaffed but attention to detail was second to none and service was top notch. Thank you. Ps: the only reason for not rating 5/5 across the board is because you were sold out of burgers and blue cheese sauce which 2 of the children wanted.

This was a bit of a trial for me as I was concerned a steak would not travel well...it dosrnt it was luke warm and not enjoyable, chips clearly oven chips and the fry was refried and chewy.I would not reccomrnd this at all ...Jo

My first time to any Miller & Carter and was really impressed! The setting was great, what a refurbishment! The food was outstanding and Chris the manager and all of his team I met that night went out of their way to make it a really lovely evening. Thankyou! Highly recommend and will most definitely be returning soon 😊 On my fourth visit here now and it gets better every time, excellent food, excellent service, good wine, I honestly can’t fault it. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice meal for 8, our waitress Michaela, was very patient and knowledgeable.

The venue is very accessible and clean. The staff member at the reception and the one helping bringing the drinks they were excellent, however the female waitress looking after our group at this time was a bit rushed to get the orders in and was not paying attention/listening to our needs at the start. Our group was somewhat diverse, due to the language barrier and because the menu layout is very condensed and quite impossible to read the small print for the additional side/dishes, so timing was an issue. However the customers service lapses (lack of responsiveness) were amended by the end of the evening, by an excellent service overall. The restaurant itself were accommodating by allowing my friend to bring her own birthday cake and we all had a good time celebrating her.

Ed is by far the best barman at making cocktails. I would really recommend this restaurant for all cocktail lovers. Best chocolate orange-tini ever! Such a welcoming restaurant as well with lots of smiles from Edward and kira, Edward handled a complaint with professionalism and kira put smiles on all of her guests. Summer delivered my steak with such positivity, I knew the food was going to be great before I had even tried it!

OK so I'm not sure how this place has so many high stars. When I booked online, all the evening slots were already reserved so I had to take an early slot where I could. It's a good thing I did, or else we would still be waiting for our server to come and ask if we wanted the bill. We ordered the chateaubriand. It came out cold and the sauces were all cold too. They serve it on a plate on a wooden board, that should be warm, at least. We were never asked if the food was ok or recieved any second visit to check for more drinks. It seemed like we were forgotten about. There wasn't many chips to share or veg and the price you pay for the slice of cut, is definitely not worth it! They also didn't have it sliced and the butter didn't even melt. There wasn't a clear sense of management or order in the restaurant. We were glad to check the bill and no service charge was apparent. I have visited many miller and carter's, and this seems to be one of the worst ones if it's busy. Avoid Saturday night and if you understand the cooking of steak and how it should be presented, avoid this one and find a non chain local restaurant where you can identify the management.

Came in for lunch today and had the best medium rare sirloin cooked to perfection. I also had the chipotle chicken for starters recommended by Kira our waitress. Kira had the best steak knowledge and explained the point of having a wedge. Never been so blown away by how amazing the service has been, quick and so very attentive. Food served hot and with a smile! Definitely coming again! - Julie

I gave a one star for food as my sirloin was delicious but my boyfriends T-bone was over cooked and dry. I would like to say how helpful our waitress Kira was in pointing out if we ordered one more side we would save money. Which was very helpful!

Our server kira was very welcoming and polite. Greeted with a smile by the host Abbie and the bar man gavin was very smiley and too. Altogether the team gave us a perfect experience to celebrate a 49th wedding anniversary. Credit also to chef Adam for his perfectly cooked steaks.
