The best restaurants in South West

We booked a table at the last minute and were glad we did the food was delicious and authentic and very good value for money. we had a mix of starters, tofu tord, satay chicken and spring rolls then Pad Thai for mains a meat one and a veggie one

Great restaurant, the atmosphere is excellent and the staff are attentive and welcoming. The food was top notch, I had the duck and the other halve had hake, perfection. My only criticism and even though they were cooked well, is that the boiled potatoes and broccoli were slightly disappointing. I would highly recommend woods to friends/family.

We went for a family birthday so there was a mixture of ages. Seating 10 of us wasn’t a problem we had a lovely table. The food was delicious and every one of us enjoyed it all. The staff were helpful and friendly. We have since been a few times as throughly enjoyed our food

Food very overpriced and slow service. Restaurant dirty and messy throughout. Pizza boxes in the cake display cabinet, crumbs everywhere, dirty cups and generally grotty feeling. Food gave both of us an upset stomach as well so really wouldn't recommend this place. Owner also very rude on arrival pushing back of my chair asking me to keep the way to the exit clear.

Lovely food, great service and cozy atmosphere

Oh my goodness what an incredible place! Amazingly friendly staff and the BEST breakfast and coffee we’ve had in a long time. We tried the cuckoos breakfast and the big Scottish breakfast. Woweeeeeeeee. Absolutely scrummy. The girls were so welcoming and friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you 🤩

Great experience, friendly staff that cannot do enough for you. And the food... Is something else, if your only in poole for a holiday try this place always take my family here and they love it.

It would be very helpful if you put on the website when your closed ! why advertise your open when your closed!!!!! You try and phone and no one answers and you can’t leave a message

Haven't been for a while - and God what have I been missing. Absolutely amazing breakfast. My friend had a full veggie breakfast and it looked amazing. I had the honey halloumi bagel - it was fantastic, although next time I will ask for less chilli. Am sick of paying ridiculous amounts for substandard food and being greeted by miserable staff. Not here - food is just brilliant and Nadine is just lovely. Forgot just how good this place is and will 100% be coming back more.

Friendliest local fish and chip shop, couldn't recommend more highly. Always made to feel welcome by the lovely team.
