This is a wonderful place, full of character. The couple who run it are lovely and food was lovely. The mash and beef pie was delicious and our children were really happy with theirs. Thanks.

As walked into the venue, we were greeted very warmly, as if we were seeing some old friends. The lovely host, explained the specials of the menu and asked where we’d like to sit. With a view of some beautifully calm fields, we were asked what we’d like to eat. Although the homemade burgers had all the reputation, I feel you can’t judge a lovely country pub unless you’ve had their pie and and mash. They passed the test with flying colours. Tony’s pie, which was Beef and Guinness, was tender yet rich in flavour. After demolishing the tasty grub, we felt like we had to try their dessert. A perfectly sized pudding of the waffle with maple syrup and ice cream hit the spot. We were asked if everything was okay and even had some of the recipe explained to us. Something I felt like a really lovely thing to do, especially with how lovely it all was. It’s a shame we live a number of hours away, as we could definitely have this as our go-to. However for now, it will be on our list of recommendations when in the area. Thank you for the lovely service, food and drink. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

We had a family meal there with our two year old son. The staff are lovely and the landlady even bought him out a toy to play with. The burgers are absolutely to die for and all homemade. Honestly the best burger I've ever tasted. I have the Spanish burger with added cheese and sweet potato fries and I still think about it now! It's probably lucky that I don't live close or I'd live there!

Fantastic service by the landlady and fantastic food by her partner in the kitchen. The Boerie Burger was different classed, well seasoned with African shackalaka sauce which was sensational. My girlfriend’s chicken burger was the best she’d ever had. If you’re staying in the local area definitely give this place a go, you won’t be disappointed.

We ate here on our first night of a 4 night stay in the area. We walked into the bar and were immediately asked by the lovely lady behind the bar if she could help us. We had no reservation but she happily accommodated us. Service was really good as was the food. The pub had a welcoming feel to it as did its local customers. It was unusual and really nice when people wished us good night as we left. We tried to get a late reservation for another night but we had left it too late

Wonderful meal and drinks in the lovely sunny garden of the Neston Country Inn and so fantastic to see Des and Tony again. We normally stop by for a quick pint but had lunch today. We stayed at the Neston Country Inn for an extended weekend. We had a small but pleasant room overlooking the green fields on the outskirts of Neston. The pub is owned by Dezi and Tony who looked after us very well and are very friendly and helpful. It is a small but busy local pub with a good selection of local beers and cider, well priced wines by the glass or bottle, and a fine selection of gins. As well as the bar it has a good sized beer garden and a small restaurant area. Parking is a bit tight when busy but there is street parking nearby. The food is all home made with a great deal of care and is a bit different to your standard pub fair. Whilst there are burgers and steaks there are very good salads, especially the Spanish salad (chorizo) and several oriental influenced dishes. The home made burgers have onions and spices rather than being simply grilled mince and the chips alone are worth the visit. For residents the full English breakfasts are very good with high quality tasty ingredients.Do not expect to place an order and get your food in 10 minutes, it’s not that sort of food. Settle down with a drink and chill out and have a truly excellent meal.

Forget the crowded Corsham pubs and bring the family here. Generous portions, fresh veg and locally sourced meat all at a reasonable price. Great choice of sweet too. We normally pop in for a drink on a local ramble and have always been impressed by the food coming from the kitchen - at long last we made sure we didn't plan any lunch/dinner at home and will make this more of a habit now. Tony is renowned for his pies so that's next on the list :)

Our group was very warmly welcomed and looked after on the three evenings that we had dinner at his Inn. The simple fact that, with plenty of choice in the area, we returned so often is testimony enough. The Inn is an unpretentious pub/restaurant with a good, wide ranging choice of drinks from the bar and an equally attractive menu. The food is freshly cooked, which means it can take a little time when the place is busy, but it is worth the wait and Des is always ready to get you another drink. Our party enjoyed all the menu choices of which the 'Boeriburger', fish cakes, steaks and fish shop special stand out. The portions are generous yet, if have room for pud, do try the 'Chocolate Stack'! I will be back in June and very much look forward to it.

Been here on business for 5 nights and was welcomed like one of their many regulars on night one. Offered a beer straight away before I'd even checked in - very welcome after battling the M25. I was in the family room and the double bed was really comfortable. I was in A and E a couple of weeks previous with lower back pain and I was expecting trouble but had no issues whatsoever - very comfortable. The bar is very well serviced with a range of pub grub presented in a no fuss fashion - no gimmicks here - just great cooked food which is piping hot. I'd definitely recommend their burger with a south African twist. Open fire and a few great ales. Dez and Tony really made my stay a great experience.

Last Saturday we rang four local pubs in the Corsham area to try and book for the following day, Sunday. No such luck. In any case, I have had some disappointing Sunday roasts lately - they are either poor quality or overly poshed-up (with a price to match). For the perfect 'Goldilocks' meal in between, I recommend Neston Country Inn. There was only one roast meat choice (beef) but there were many other options such as fish, vegetarian etc. It was proper old-school roast beef (including veering on well done - but still tender and tasty), with Yorkshire, the most fantastic gravy, perfectly crisp/fluffy roasties and a huge amount of fresh and well-cooked veg. At £12 it was also about £3 cheaper than other local Sunday roasts. Pudding too was old school and I could not resist steamed syrup pudding with custard. Yum! Service is attentive and friendly, and there are some very interesting local beers and ciders on tap (I particularly liked the Peto Press lightly sparkling cider). The decor along with everything else is old-school, but who cares? There is a log fire and it's dog-friendly. What's not to like? We will be back.

We stayed here for just one night Saturday 16th December while travelling to Wiltshire to attend a family party on the Sunday, The owners are a charming couple from South Africa called Des & Tony who couldn't do enough for us, our room was very nice and clean with all the facilities we needed, they had a 30th themed birthday party booked for a young South African girl with them all in local dress which went down well, they managed to find us a table in the busy restaurant and the food was lovely, I have to admit I am a bit of a burger lover and as I saw them recommended several times on other reviews I thought I would give it a try & I wasn't disappointed, plus the beer went down a treat as well, all in all the whole experience was very nice and we would not hesitate in staying there again.

Average I guess. Wouldn't stay to eat as the 'elevator music' was awful. Recommend only if you're indifferent to background racket. Small pot of tea - £1.80 - this was certainly not a loss leader. Lounge/dining room carpet (old and frayed) not a good indicator either.

Having spent time working/staying in the area (See Mead Lodge), I was recommended The Neston Country Inn and was certainly not disappointed. The owners Des and Tony are very welcoming and greeted me as an old friend. The selection of beers is great and they sell guest beers along side the normal brands.Tony's cooking is excellent, I always enjoyed Mix Grill Wednesday and the selection of other food as well as specials ensure you dont have to eat the same thing twice, but saying that, once you have had it you will certainly want to go back for more.

Desrae & Tony provide a warm welcome, and a good choice of food on the menu. They have a specials board and regular specials - Thai curry night on a Monday, mixed grills on a Wednesday, and home-made pie on Thursdays.

A lovely little country inn, tucked away in the village of Neston. You are made to feel very welcome and the service is friendly and informal. The food is scrummy and plentiful, a mouthwatering choice and cooked to perfection. Well presented and a joy to eat. Well worth a visit, we have visited twice and shall return. A little gem!

My wife and I have been to the Neston Country Inn on several occassions now and as 'fussy' eaters find the food absolutely first class every time! The service and general atmostphere are excellent and Tony & Desrae go to great lenghs to ensure that you feel most welcome and well looked after (which we find very refreshing). We highly recommend the place and look forward to our next visit.

Lovely cafe with large selection of cakes, sandwiches and decent coffee. we stopped here to refuel whilst riding King Alfred's Way. Friendly staff, clean toilets, sensible Covid precautions and next door to a little Nisa shop for anything else you need

Stopped on a trip from Cinderford to Romsey , have driven past many times but never had time to stop, husband and son had ‘small ‘ breakfast and I had toast and jam, the breakfast was a great size, quickly served and tasted great, really good value for money . Toilets and rest of premises are really clean and can’t wait to visit again

Food was lovely, my boyfriend and I haven’t enjoyed a meal as much as that in a while. Food and drinks are low price, especially considering the portion size. Service was good; they were fast and they made sure everything was okay. Definitely coming back☺️
