The best restaurants in South West

Don’t know about the rooms as we stayed in a cottage next door, but the restaurant was great. We had some snack bits on our first evening, plus drinks, and then went for the Sunday carvery. The food was lovely, classic pub grub done well and served fresh & pretty quick. Landlord is a fun guy too which adds some character.

Been here a few times and the food is amazing every time. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and yummy food! 100% recommend!

A second lovely relaxing stay. Everything about Orestone Manor if fabulous!! The "meet & greet" the friendly efficient staff, the inspired decor and the delicious food. There is such a nice feeling to this place!!! Would we stay again - YES definitely.!!

A unique setting in this historic tower with open stone walls - a cosy but not cramped space with warm lighting . The most delicious food - between The 4 of us we tried : scallops , seafood soup, lamb shoulder , duck, steak, cheese board and warm tart . The meat we had was cooked to perfection: melt in the mouth and incredibly tasty . All served with delicious sauces , green veg and roasted new potatoes . Nibbles and the fluffiest salted bread on arrival . The chef came to speak with us at the end of the meal - we said what a special evening we'd had . He and his wife made a great chef / front of house team . Service was warm , friendly and efficient . Highly recommend this independent restaurant where you will find cooking using the highest quality ingredients and with great skill and care .

Great pub, skittles alley and good atmosphere.

What a wonderful place. Great food in a really cosy atmosphere with excellent staff all round. We would recommend this restaurant most highly for all those visiting Bath. If you look inside you may think it is full but it has two floors of great experience and well worth a visit.

The service here is fantastic. My friends and I absolutely loved it here so fun and the staff give great recommendations.

Great Cafe, ostensibly a motorcycle cafe but all are welcome. The food is excellent with a convivial ambiance.

Thrown straight in the bin! Everything was just full off grease! The food is normally great, but was absolutely woeful this time!

Great to shop in the garden Center then head here for lunch…..or the other way around 😃

We have been to Millside a number of times and had wonderful experiences over a number of years . It may have changed ownership but remains by far the best restaurant (in my opinion) in Lyme Regis. The food as always was great, with a varied and wide menu, the ambience very pleasant and the friendly and personal service delightful. There is nothing not to like about it, but don't take my word for it, go there and see for yourself.

Absolutely amazing food, hosted by the wonderful Scarlett and Beth. Both were incredibly attentive and friendly! Kitchen served us some incredible food also. All very happy and would absolutely visit again!
