Outlaw's, 6 New Rd, Port Isaac PL29 3SB, United Kingdom, England
Just TOO EXPENSIVE - £175pp for the basic menu is simply too much, the food is not worth it… nice enough and well executed but small portions and nothing to really blow your head off.
We ate downstairs at a wooden bar with a nice view over the bay - it was intimate but not at all sophisticated.
Service was nice but slow and timing was all over the place.
Wine menu limited and the reality is you can’t drink and drive at such a remote location
Ultimately this was just expensive nicely done food. I would not return at this price-point.

Wonderful place to eat. We had booked for 7.00 and were shattered so asked if they could accommodate us (5) earlier. They duly fit us in and our lovely waitress Annette gave wonderful service. Honestly so glad we got to eat here. Everything was delicious.
Best food I have ever had in my life and I was not expecting that. I had just gone there from watching the Minecraft movie with some friends and we were gonna go somewhere cheaper but my friend said it was really good and I'm glad I tried it because it definitely lived up to its name the staff were so kind, the food was on point and the atmosphere was a little quiet but the beef curry that I had definitely made up for it. If I could rate it more I would but since I can't it will be a 5 star!

Lovely bar, great for a drink and food after a day on the beach. The staff were helpful and friendly. Service was quick, seating was comfy and the atmosphere was chilled. Thoroughly recommended. 5 stars.
Stumbled across this excellent deli on a wet January day in Dartmouth and had the best cream tea in a long time. Warm and fresh scones, delicious jam & clotted cream and nicely brewed fresh tea. The interior is very stylish & has a nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere with nice mellow music in the background. Great stuff.
Queens Head Inn, 1 The Sq, St Stephen, Saint Austell PL26 7SQ, United Kingdom, England
I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Queen’s Head in St Stephen, Cornwall, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was. The roast dinner was an absolute standout—perfectly cooked meat, tender and flavorful, paired with golden, crispy roast potatoes that were some of the best I’ve ever had. The homemade Yorkshire puddings were a delight, light and fluffy, and the generous helping of rich gravy tied it all together beautifully. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the food here, making it a proper Sunday treat.
The atmosphere in the pub is just as impressive. It’s a charming, cozy spot with a warm, welcoming vibe—think crackling woodburners, friendly chatter from locals, and that quintessential Cornish village charm. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, whether you’re a regular or just passing through. The beer garden and play area out back are lovely touches too, perfect for a sunny day.
The staff truly elevate the whole experience. They’re incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and made to feel like valued guests. Service was spot-on—quick without feeling rushed—and they were happy to chat and offer recommendations.
All in all, The Queen’s Head is a gem. The roast dinner alone is worth the visit, but the fantastic atmosphere and lovely staff make it a place I’ll be eager to return to. Highly recommend!
Awesome restaurant, good location, and great food.
The service was excellent too.
We were worried about the menu before we ordered but all the food came out amazing and loved by all (9 people).
Would recommended to others.
Only second time I’ve been in the evening as usually gone for lunch but does a great dinner as well as lunch.

Easily one of the best micropubs I've been to. Great selection of well kept beer and still cider. The owner blends cider to your taste - fantastic!! Make sure you visit!!
Excellent place! We were on holiday in Devon and we wanted to do a more special picnic, so we found this place and what a surprise! Amazing sandwiches, super good fillings, good quality ingredients, freshly made, and delicious cakes all at a very good price. We would definitely be back.
Front of the promenade very reasonable and excellent food service spotless inside and attention to detail amazing please support a super local business

The food wasn’t nearly as tasty as we expected based on other reviews. The salad was not as fresh as i would like and service slow considering it was an empty pub.
Ordered a beef doner kebab to eat on the hoof yesterday. It was tasty and not greasy at all. Have tried GDK from the chain before but this kebab was next level. Has to be up there with one of the best kebabs I have ever eaten. The bread and it being beef instead of lamb makes such a difference. Great salad too. Will be back for sure.
