A Charming Spot: Maul’s Wine & Cheese Bar We’ve had the pleasure of visiting Maul’s Wine & Cheese Bar on two occasions, and both visits were thoroughly enjoyable. However, we’ve also tried to visit several other times but were unable to get in because they were either fully booked or about to end service. It’s clear this place is popular, and for good reason! The atmosphere at Maul’s is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy good food and wine. While there’s a noticeable lack of vegetarian options, there are enough choices to keep most vegetarians happy. That said, it would be wonderful if they could expand their menu to be more inclusive of vegetarians, as this would make it even more appealing for diverse groups. Overall, we really like Maul’s and enjoy spending time there. If you’re planning a visit, we highly recommend booking ahead, as it tends to get busy. Despite the limited menu for vegetarians, it remains one of our favorite spots for a cozy evening out.

We visited for the third year running and we have been happy with the hotel every time. The weekend deal is great, the food was excellent and the room pleasant. The staff are always welcoming and the evening entertainment is a bonus. It is close to Meadfoot Beach and walking distance to the town although it is quite a steep walk back but it can be done by bus that stops right outside the hotel.

Freshly made gluten-free fish and chips and curry sauce (a rareity for GF folk) was absolutely delicious and the service was great too. Highly recommend for a fish and chip stop by the beach.

Have lived in Tewkesbury for 25 years and have never eaten here. Didn't think I would ever find a better place to eat a curry dish but it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are so friendly and obliging. Many thanks to you all and I will definitely be returning 😊

Fab night watching the Houdinis Saturday night always a great atmosphere at The Spinner

Lovely welcome and fantastic food. The lamb aromatic pancakes and the summer rolls stole the show for us. All delicious. Excited to try the Pho next time. We well over ordered as got so exited by the menu which meant we could enjoy it at home the next day :)

I visited cherries cafe today , I have to say the young lady who served me was outstanding her service was excellent and was willing to chat and was very pleasant, I hope this comment is passed on to her to thank her for going the extra mile. Got a Tofu Panang Curry and holy sh*t. I’m a big curry fan (across lots of cuisines) and this has to be the BEST curry I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Generous portion sizes, great value for money, and the women working were wonderful. TOP TIER! Thank you
