The best restaurants in South West

I have been lucky to attend two of Carmen’s unique and well-crafted eating experiences- a lunch club in Bristol and a special Italian festive feast in Bath. Both events showcased Carmen’s creative and thoughtful cooking with carefully thought out menus, which delighted all guests on my table-vegan and non-vegan alike. Moreover, Carmen creates a welcoming atmosphere and friendly feel at these events, where delicious food sits alongside the joy of sharing a meal with others on your table. Highly recommended for amazing food and a unique supper club experience.

Fantastic pizza.... freshly made...and SO tasty.... friendly team....oh did I mention the pizza tasted delicious....an absolute must if you are in Polperro

Whist going for a spring stroll around town we popped in for coffee and lunch , lovely to be able to sit out in the warm sunshine and eat alfresco, great coffee , husband had a bacon sausage sandwich and my daughter a ham cheese panini delicious 😋 friendly staff reasonable prices we will definitely be back

This place has an amazing atmosphere and the staff were really nice I will definitely come her again with all there amazing vegan options

What amazing takeaway food this week, feather blade beef was so soft and the flavours just fantastic. It’s restaurant quality and worth every penny. Thanks High Grange we will definitely be back!

Visited today with my family, could not have been a more enjoyable experience. Attentive, accommodating and friendly staff. Ensured the 4 of us could sit together once another group had finished - making it much easier to keep an eye on our two little boys. Offered an easy alternative of baked beans on toast (though neither of our boys like that - think they're the only kids that don't!), but felt assured could ask for a very slight amendment to the sandwich offering for my eldest (6), we ordered our youngest (4) jam on toast which came with a selection of 4 jams! Exceeded expectations all round, expecting a loaf sized piece of lemon drizzle, when lemon cake was offered, instead it was a three layer lemon cake that was delicious, everything was really reasonably priced and delicious. Would recommend without hesitation and I don't know for sure, but it sounds like they provide some level of takeaway too, if you're looking for picnic bits. Thank you

We missed out on coming here in October due to it being so busy so this time we made sure we booked a table. It really didn’t disappoint . The pizza arrived quickly (you can see it being cooked). And it was so incredibly tasty. Definitely in top 3 of best pizza I’ve ever eaten!! The staff were incredible with our 2 year old daughter too. If you get the chance to come here then do it. You won’t regret it.

Small venue, with beautifully cooked, flavoursome food. We had hake, duck and steak, and everyone very happy with their choice. Deserts delicious too.

We attended a wake held here! Utterly superb. Food and service perfect. Beautiful china tea and coffee seved the way it should be. A hidden gem not to be missed!

We called in for some take away food. Had the homity pie (cold but delicious) and sausage roll (hot but delicious I was told) plus a really nice mixed salad (you can choose from a mix and match selection). Enjoyed them on the harbour wall on a lovely sunny day.

I cannot rate this tea room highly enough. We received a very warm welcome and settled on a cream tea. The scones were warm and there was plentiful cream and homemade jam. Delicious! They support the local community bus so I’d encourage you to buy a book from the second hand book shelf in the tea room.

We had a private party in Marion's Lounge (upstairs in the venue) and I cannot thank the team enough, Mark's communication was amazing, he was accommodating and made what was a very important event for us, go off without a hitch. Thanks to your team and for the use of your beautiful venue. Highly recommend!

We always visit the Hannafore Kiosk when we are in Looe, and we were not disappointed this time ! Lovely fresh food and hot drinks on a breezy day, we sat outside looking across at the island and felt absolutely wonderful !
