Staff are clueless idiots, food is average at best, shocking drink selection..

Lovely food excellent delivery!

Unexpected quality and value for money with really friendly service to boot. We over ordered thinking the portion sizes would be smaller for the pricing..... big mistake! Generous portions didn't need a side, and a starter to share (the whitebait) was ample. It was quite quiet, but I don't think that was what made the service good - I think the staff were happy in their job and it showed ?!? If I'm wrong they hid it well and either way a credit to the Boathouse!

Absolutely wonderful food. The smoked beef was incredible and the biscoff cookie pie was amazing. We would highly recommend. Great service and beautiful setting. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Stay away from here, it’s unfortunate that this place probably was very good to start with. It has clearly changed. Nobody seemsto know. What to do. The lobster was the size of a small crayfish that had its legs amputated when it was young. The steak was looking like a piece of boot leather, but nevertheless for some obscure reason it tasted okay. After hours of waiting, the food finally arrived, and it was cold. The fish and chips is okay, but the rest was terrible. Don’t order the nuts, they’re orange and don’t taste of anything, not sure what they are. Finally, stay away from the toilets.

Replaced our Christmas work meal which was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances and had a wonderful Sunday lunch with work colleagues, friendly atmosphere, nothing too much trouble and a great lunch running into the afternoon. Highly recommend

Beautiful Building and interiors with fire cranking and beer off the wood. Food 10/10 at great prices. Definitely a stop here!

El restaurante es maravilloso, muy bonito y la típica casa de piedra inglesa. La decoración interior es muy bonita y el lugar es muy acogedor. El servicio fue muy atento y agradable. La comida estaba muy buena. Tardaron muy poco tiempo en servirnos.

Pedimos 2 porciones de comida, pollo a la parrilla y chuletas. Desafortunadamente, no podíamos creer lo que vimos. Solo había 2 piezas de pollo y 3 piezas de chuletas, y la cuenta que pagamos fue de £ 33. 00 . Con esta orden, dos personas normalmente deberían estar llenas, pero con lo que recibimos, ni siquiera una persona podría estar satisfecha. Están estafando a la gente. Una pieza entera de cordero cuesta £ 110. 00 a los precios de hoy, y pagamos 33 libras por 5 piezas de carne. Esto es absurdo. Ese oportunismo es inaceptable. Soy turco, y fui a un restaurante propiedad de alguien de mi propio país, pero desafortunadamente, me estafaron. Qué vergüenza. No lo recomiendo en absoluto. Tratan a los clientes como tontos.

Booked for an early evening roast as we were staying with family in a neighbouring village. We all had roast dinner. Myself being vegetarian opted for the nut roast. Absolutely delicious. Meats well cooked and plentiful. Food well presented and hot. Crumble and salted caramel cheese cake for desserts. Again delicious. I would most definitely recommend this pub as a place to dine and catch up with family and friends. We will be returning.

This was a great place for a casual solo meal whilst visiting the local area. Staff were lovely, made me feel welcome and were attentive and the food was excellent!

I went to this venue for a silver wedding anniversary celebration on the afternon on 4th May. The venue is really lovely. There's a great sense of history in the dining area of this former schoolhouse. The food was fabulous and the warm and friendly atmosphere made it rather a magical occasion. I can highly recommend this as a venue to hold an event. Many thanks
