The best restaurants in Central Worthing South East

When your party of nine arrives at 19.30 on the Saturday before Christmas to find just four diners in an otherwise empty restaurant it is not a good sign. We should have just walked away. The free glass of Prosecco went down well and the pre-catered starters were passable but all after was between disappointing and diabolical. Food arrived at vastly differing times. And most not very warm. Some had finished with their food way before others were served. I had Pad Thai noodles and crab rice which was incredibly bland. I ate less than half. A vegetarian friend criticised and left all her Tofu from her stir fry which seemed totally undercooked and colourless. Others had deep fried sea bass, red curry & massaman. Nobody raved. Most just picked at the food and were underwhelmed. I felt the food was prepared by an inexperienced chef. And from the heaps of food the young waitress cleared away I could sense her embarrassment. Strange because a couple of years prior I had a perfectly delicious meal there. Could it just be an off-day?

Staff needs to be trained professionally. Slightly expensive restaurant. Needs updating in few areas.

I cannot recommend this burger joint it’s dreadful know lettuce, tomatoes or anything just a rotten experience it cost £5.20 I am surprised these characters are still in business never , never again i can only imagine the walking dead heading into this place for there last meal .👎👎👎👎👎👎🧨🧨🧨🧨🧨🧨

Always a nice and tasty pizza with great value from this place, always received a friendly service and have great banter with these guys. Nice amount of topping and happy to swap items on toppings for others. Recommended and see you next Saturday guys.

Probably the dirtiest cafe I have been in since eating in the jungle of Thailand 40 years ago. Filthy kitchen, plates, cups, and spoons. My partner and I had a flat white and a cappuccino both of which arrived looking exactly the same in filthy cups delivered by the filthy-looking owner. Eclectic it may be, filthy it definitely is.

Needed a place to take two toddlers and a baby, as well as one that could accommodate vegans, gluten intolerances and severe peanut allergies. The staff were amazing, the food was great and everyone had a brilliant time. Thank you!

A good pub with lots of outdoor seating and sea views. Found the drinks are good, not silly prices, nice people working here and great music 🎶

Standard Wetherspoons, good beer and reasonable food for the price. Service can be a bit slow when the place is busy.

Been getting food from here for well over a year, never had a problem, always nicely cooked and good sizes. They make a lovely double wrap

This place is now closed but the three fishes wetherspoon is on the opposite side of the road & still open

Can't rate the food as it never arrived, was ordered about 6pm, then told at 8pm no delivery drivers so order was cancelled. Needless to say was not impressed!

This cafe can be very busy and you sometimes have to queue, but I guess that’s because it’s popular. I often call in here and the staff here work very hard and are always so cheerful, which alone makes the stop worthwhile. A credit to M&S.

i’ve ordered from wkh over the past year and the food has always been excellent, and the staff have always been quick and helpful. also the mozzarella sticks are amazing

A not particularly busy Saturday afternoon. Order at the till. Then. Wait. 25 minutes later crepe was delivered. Coffees arrived separately. Food and drinks were good, but although staff appeared busy and diligent the delivery wasn’t up to scratch. Sorry.
