utterly disgusting!!!!!!!!!! please do not order from here, total waste of money, couldn’t eat it, £60 and inedible! how do these people get away with it

Is it usual protocol that when you get delivered the wrong meal x2 that instead of correcting the order (that has been paid for) you refuse to change what had been delivered? Never again will we order from here having spent £80+ on the wrong order. To top it off the sweet and sour pot had exploded over all other remaining food in the bag. Shocking customer service when simply saying we would drive to rectify the issue.

Take away was booked for 19:45. Arrival time between 19;55 and 20:15 it arrived at 19:25. Not good when you trying to pud kids to bet. That with the unnecessary loud music coming from the car

Ordered from here on Saturday after a busy day in the garden. It was supposed to be a treat for us, but instead it wasn't. The food was tasteless and the chicken in the chow mien was burnt. Order from anywhere else but here. Even the prawn crackers tasted stale 🤢🤢

Ordered a delivery service. Food was delivered within 15 minutes. Fried rice was absolutely tasteless, pancake roll was dripping grease and inside was cold. The mixed starters were also very greasy which made eating impossible. All in all, food was plain awful. £24 in the bin

I ordered a aromatic crispy duck and a large crispy spring roll, when I got my order the duck was soggy and far from crispy and the crispy spring roll wasn't crispy and was cold, it tasted vile, I didn't try the duck as wasn't sure it was cooked properly, even though they sent another duck the moment had been ruined and money wasted , they ashould have made sure it was all cooked properly the 1st time round I will think twice before I order from here again as this not the 1st issue's I have had with their food

We have been using this sweet little restaurant for many years. They have always given us just what we asked for... a vegan meal... mock pork, salt and pepper tofu, and other bean curd dishes etc. Well, when we called on Saturday to order a takeaway for 5 people, this time we were informed that they had no vegan beancurd dishes whatsoevever - they were all cooked with egg - and the mock pork was also cooked with egg. We are not only disappointed, since we'd always loved their food, but also horrified that it seems we've been eating egg all these years!! I can only say that it is a good job that this is a moral stance of ours, and not because one of us might have died through an allergic reaction to egg!!!! Never again will we use what we thought was a super little Chinese restaurant....UNLESS they can reassure us, that these changes have only just taken place, and provide some vegan options once again.

I have sliced chicken curry Malaysian style, egg fried rice. Best Chinese for flavour in Worthing! Highly recommend!

Having ordered a delivery of vegetarian dishes I was horrified to find one of the dishes contained beef! When complaining I was told that all they would do is take the cost off of the next delivery I ordered. I don’t think that I will be ordering again from a restaurant/takeaway that clearly doesn’t take vegetarian food seriously. Such very poor customer service and food!

Lovely food as always so fresh. Was advised to collect as it was a two hour wait for delivery.but was well worth the drive over.

We ordered a takeaway at 6.30, were told it would be an hour, arrived 3 hours later at 9.30 cold! Cost us £30, tried to get a refund, they didn’t think the service was unacceptable and refused. They put the phone down on us! Total waste of money!

Food arrived bang on time, duck in plumb sauce was to die for and the chicken satay was really tasty. Would highly recommend

Avoid ... Really really poor, waited an hour after ordering, was told it could be another 30 mins to an hour and half, collected and got home to find parts of the order missing. Phone and was told it would take another hour plus to get the missing bit out. What was delivered was dreadful and didn't taste good at all. Going to bed hungry and they refused to refund anything at all.

Had takeaway last night with my family. I am vegetarian and so ordered 2 vegetarian dishes. The so called vegetarian Singapore noodles came but had prawns in. So with all the food that was delivered, I literally could only eat the one dish. Disappointed was not the word!!!

My family, friends, and I often use this takeaway or go for meals in the restaurant. Takeaways sometimes take an hour to come but the food is always hot and of good quality! The restaurant itself is a little cramped but we always have good service. We’ve never had any problems with the takeaway or restaurant, and it’s definitely our go-to place for Chinese food!

Wish I'd checked this website before ordering!! Ordered with an expected delivery of between 25-40 mins although on placing order it said 1 hour. Happy with that but not with it being over 2 1/2 hours later!! After numerous phone calls it was delivered at 10:45pm whilst waiting to go to bed. Did say car had broken down and offered a free dish next time but won't be going back!! By far from the standard of food we've experienced from them in the past and didn't seem to care about delay!

It eventually arrived an hour late after two calls to the restaurant, and it all required a good minute and a half in the microwave. The crispy shredded chilli beef was more like chewy shredded burned beef in vinegary sauce. The chicken curry was like slimy stuff pretending to be chicken, in a watery salty sauce with some mushrooms and huge lumps of onion. The egg fried rice was cold, and it didn't come with any prawn crackers etc. I can't remember the last time I ordered chinese and didn't get any complimentary crackers! The staff were polite though.

Ordered at 7:50pm. Had not delivered by 10:30pm. Called them and the first thing they said was "Do you want the money back?" No I want my food! They couldn't do it, so got my money back. Had no food this evening. Never get a takeaway from this place ever. Awful customer service.

Great food. The restaurant could do with a good refresh, and it's a bit strange being as it's on the lower floor. It's often nearly empty as the main trade is take-away, but we love the food and for £15.95 for as much as you can eat - it's excellent value.

On Friday, 30/8/2019, we had a meal delivered from "The Royal Beijing" Worthing. Half way through the meal I found, in my mouth, a thin piece of wire which looked very much like a piece of scouring pad. I phoned the restaurant and after some debate, was told we could have a full refund, but could never use them again. We have used this restaurant for many years and have never had cause to complain before and this is the thank's you get for being a loyal customer. They obviously don't give a damn for their customers, long standing or not. Their attitude to all this, I have found disgusting so would never have used them again anyway. Just Eat, who we used were again, pretty useless with our complaint. It just goes to show, as a customer, as long as their taking your money they're fine, but complain and you will be ignored.

Very long to arrive - mid week, arrived COLD. SUPER ANNOYING BECAUSE I DONT HAVE A MICROWAVE HAVING JUST MOVED HOUSE!!! Surprised I didn’t get food poisoning. Asked for it to be spicy but was not at all. Really peed off and annoyed, literally the first Chinese I have left after 2 mouth fulls, what a waste of money. Disappointed.

A very tasty Chinese restaurant! The restaurant itself is very ugly and looks awful, and the children sit by the bar just watching tv. But the food is great and it’s a very reasonable price! We go there quite regularly just for the good food

Beef wasn’t as tender as I like but that was our only qualm. Everything else was good.

Food was a little disappointing tonight, we have had much better food from here on previous occasions. Quick delivery about 30 mins early. The grilled dumplings were abit crunchy in places, the noddles had a different taste this time ( not one I particularly enjoyed) & hubby didn’t enjoy his curry as much, lacking flavour, quite salty this evening, given hubby & I a real thirst.

overall fine, the downside was that none of souces have been delivered... despite the fact that said-comes with sweet and chili souce

We've lived here in Goring by Sea over 4 years and whilst we're very happy here missed the quality and cost of decent Chinese food as takeaway and that was delivered. We've tried our local....not great. Imperial China is delicious, very expensive I think and don't do delivery.

Appreciate it was a busy night but called them twice and the first response was clearly just an under pressure fib that it was on the way (this was on top of an agreed 70 minute wait for delivery). However, putting that aside I will give them another crack as the food was pretty decent...even if it was almost a midnight feast by the time we got it! ;)

We had ordered our food just after 8pm, I know it was new year’s eve so was due to be busy but it said it would be delivered at 22.05. It got to 22.35 and it still hadn’t been delivered. I was on the phone trying to get through to the restaurant but the line was engaged for about 20 minutes. Once I finally got through they said it would be with us by 11pm. 11.10 came around and it still hadn’t been delivered. We called again and they said it was with the driver, and it finally came about 11.20. We waited 3 hours for our food.

Worst food ever. Batter on chicken balls soggy Noodles really greasy Curry was sweet and no spice and cold. Came one hour early. We were not ready. Won’t order again.

The food was fabulous, fresh and hot as always. This is our family favourite. It was 10 mins late but, as it was New Year’s Day, that’s perfectly understandable.

order arrived over an hour late than the expected delivery time. From order to actual delivery took two hours and Fourty five minutes. All the restaurant would explain when phoned was we are really busy. Lovely food from this restaurant always every time and have ordered before and delivery is usually slow but today was too late

So we’re still waiting on our food and we ordered it at 6:20pm it has been 2 and a half hours and still no food and when we try to cal the restaurant no answer or user busy. I am extremely disappointed

never had an issue with this restaurant before but tonight we waited over two hours for food to be delivered. I appreciate New Year’s Eve is busy but if they take your order they should fulfil it. no one called me, I had to call them twice. was lied to and given £3.20 refund for very poor service. will never use them again and would suggest no one else does either

not a lot I can say really I had chilli squid that was average , then chicken curry that was disgusting didn’t even taste like curry sauce . chips were cold and soggy asked for a refund for the shockingly poor standard of food refused refund so other people don’t eat here !!!!!!!!!!

Although there seems to be a few negative reviews below, I actually think this is the best Chinese takeaway in Worthing. They have always been reliable and the dishes are always hot, tasty and of a good size. Obviously you are not going to get authentic chinese cuisine in this area - but this is probably as good as it gets locally. I do agree that the restaurant itself desperately needs a full refurb - it is not the nicest environment to spend your evening, more suited to takeaways.

Horrible rude staff just horrible never again

I was pleased the restaurant catered to my allergies and was very helpful, however the food was ok and I wasn’t over impressed especially for the price I paid.

This USED to be my go-to Chinese not any more, food was really poor rubbery meat no king prawn, veg just barely cooked,felt really dissatisfied will look for another Chinese in future

Really disappointed. We ordered half a crispy duck as a bit of a treat and it was not crispy at all but really wet, soggy and fatty. We gave most of it to the dog as for me it was inedible. It was also not very much considering it was meant to be half a duck. Won’t be ordering again.

Great food, does take a while to be delivered but always comes fresh and hot.

Good food, good value, apart from the tiny wontons that were very overpriced. £3.80 for 6 tiny wontons is not acceptable. Everything else was really tasty and we enjoyed it very much, thank you.
