My dog eats horse $hite but even he didn’t want this Chinese. It all tasted like it had been cooked four days ago. Even the prawn crackers were chewy. Avoid

I never put reviews on but when i saw a lot of the reviews where from some years ago, i thought i would give an updated one. To be far i wasn't holding out for a good takeaway and the place was a but shabby. We are regulars in China town in London and love good Chinese food. I had the duck and was really surprised at how well it was cooked and was delicious. The sweet and sour prawns dish was full of king prawns and fresh tasting. They also now take card so maybe worth giving it another go.

Excellent food fast delivery Sadly I need to update my review as last 2 deliveries have been late with the one ordered today waiting 2 hours and we gey a call saying it's on its way as driver got stuck 9pm ordered cancelled clearly as cold Chinese cooked over an hour ago based on when we were told it left is no good

I am vegetarian and ordered the vege noodles. Early on eating found prawns in .It did not say in the menu there was fish in it so it was assumed it was fine

Speedy, friendly service and the best tasting egg fried rice around !!

Worst Chinese ever, smelt and tasted dreadful. Tasted like it had been cooked in dirty pans, truly awful. The whole lot went in the bin. Such a waste of money.

What a waste. Egg fried rice, no egg, pork dish, shredded gristle. Absolutely disgusting. The whole lot straight in the bin. Do not waste your money. Really was the worse take out we have ever ordered . If I could have done zero rating, I would.

Tasty Takeaway We have used The Cherry House fairly regularly for the last year, either for just 2 of us or for a big family meal ...they've never let us down. We've had several different dishes ranging from the curries to bbq ribs, Chinese Duck, sweet & sour chicken/vegetables, all cooked beautifully, hubby fussy and said the meat is always tender. Staff friendly over the phone and very helpful. Delivery times not too long and the food always arrives hot. Thank you all at the Cherry House :)

Really poor quality Chinese food. The ribs were just gristle and the noodles were bland and overcooked. And they only take cash. In 2020! Avoid at all costs.

Excellent safety measures for customers, good to see staff wearing ppe, food was OK but beef was unacceptably tough and chewy.

Never been here, but impressed by layout, decor. Professional and friendly staff. The food I ordered didnt take long, and tasted great. Easily accessible to everyone in the findon valley area and much further.

I’ve been coming to cherry house since I was 9, I’m now 27 and I have never gone anywhere else. Only on days it’s shut, and nothing compares. Cooked perfectly every time, they know me personally. I’ve never had a bad order from here.

Food took over two hours and there was hair in the food and they refused to give us discount, we rang up very politely and they were rude and abusive back. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Delivery was on time but food was not great. Chow mien was burnt with a not so nice burnt flavour. Sweet and sour sauce was heartburn special. Chips were oven chips and soggy. Chicken balls were flavourless but not fatty chicken which was good. Curry sauce too rich. Overall, would avoid next time. Food had no flavour and tasted watery and burnt. Pity as not many take aways deliver to where I live and had good hopes.

Ordered Chinese for 1st time from this takeaway. Was told 45 mins wait. Phoned back after an hour was told by staff the delivery had left 15mins ago. But it had gone to storrington first! But I live in Worthing. Manager confirmed it hadn't gone to storrington. But delivery driver told me he had been to storrington so food was stone cold. Didn't except. Will not be using this Chinese takeaway again. Do not recommend at all!

Really nice Chinese takeaway ! Cant believe ive lived here for 6 years and I didnt realise they delivered all the way to us in Storrington. Looking forward to my next order :-)

Not happy over an hour wait to collect having been told 35 mins 😤Been customers for many years but very badly let down recently, shall not be going back!

After waiting over an hour and a half for delivery we phoned to chase order. Cherry House had an extremely rude manner and said they had not started cooking the food yet because people kept ringing and stopping them from cooking! Their attitude was awful. I will not use them again.

Good food but really bad on their delivery service! Told an hour but hour and half later still waiting for delivery! This has happened two weeks running now!

Lovely Chinese take away although its a shame you can only pay with cash, no one really has cash on them anymore so I think they should invest in a card machine :)

Have ordered from here for a coupe of years now and always very pleased with the food. However, the stuff we received tonight was a huge disappointment. The chicken satay sauce mostly just tasted of too much salt and the Szechuan "lamb" could barely be called that. The meat was mostly rubbery fat with very little meat on it. Have had both dishes from here previously and were excellent - something must have changed and not for the better. Will be finding a new Chinese from now on. Prices have gone up too - and they charged for delivery!

We have been many times here in recent times and find the food absolutely delicious and excellent service at all times. Looking forward to our next order.

This is a regular for us since moving from London. We love asian food and my husbands thinks this is good standard chinese. Very friendly staff who take cash and card payments. Shame its just take-out and not restaurant.

Lovely prompt takeaway, prices aren't the cheapest in Worthing however the quality is amazing and therefore worth it. I would especially recommend the smoked chicken! AMAZING!

Cherry House is a takeaway in Findon Valley Worthing. We have lived here for more than 13 years and have had many meals. They are consistently excellent. we have tried other Chinese - when they have been closed but quite frankly nothing compares. Our favorite meals are hot smoked chicken, Cantonese beef and chinese style suck - but to be honest they are all good. The only take cash - to reduce costs - but the quality has never waned. This is well worth a go - I don't think you will be disappointed
