Pizza Express in Worthing

I ordered food for delivery, and this was the state of the potatoes. Tried to have some by removing the burnt edges, but still... It's hard to believe they thought it was acceptable to send them out like this. Says a lot about their food standards. *Edit: Meet my expectations? How about meeting your standards? Is it acceptable for you to serve that to a customer? Because if that's the case, then I prefer not to contact you any further, thank you! I would just prefer to avoid your restaurant in the future. I was here with my 8 year old daughter after watching a film at the Dome Cinema recently. Pizza Express was her choice. I just want to say that the staff and service was so warm , friendly and helpful we were really thankful. They went out of their way to make our experience a positive one and we will be back. We love the children to eat free offers in the school holidays. Great value for money and delicious food, although i am sure the pizza sizes have got smaller. Service is very quick, maybe a bit to quick because of how busy they get it feels very much like they want you in and out so there's not much time between course or even to digest at the end of it.

Your team were fantastic. I was with two children, one GF, also had to wait for my wife who was joining us later. They were patient, friendly and accommodating. The young lady with blonde hair was our waitress, and the young man, perhaps the maitre'd who seated us were both flawless in their service. Both great assets to the restaurant and your brand. I've lived overseas and just returned having been a regular customer in central London nearly 20 years ago. Seriously impressed. Well done. P.s. please bring back the quattro formagi and melanzane parmigiana!

Quickly becoming one of our favourite restaurants, Pizza Express in Warrick street is atmospheric and the food is always delicious. After downloading the app we have become invested in collecting our stamps and winning excellent deals and rewards with the restuarant. Special thanks to our waitress Georgia the other day, who went out of her way to make sure we had amazing service and even bringing a birthday brownie over for my mum. Will be returning soon :)

We had a fantastic experience here. All the team are really engaging and proactive in making sure you have a great experience. Felix, Mike and Maisie were all on during the time we visited. The pizzas were excellently made. It really made all the difference after a not so great experience in the Brighton Marina branch a few months back. Thanks guys

Do not order from this pizza express Worthing.. took an hour and half to get at my house an paid £31 for the pleasure of eating a cold pizza.. disappointed and disgusting

Crap service went for too good to go order was told to wait 10 mins then All that came out was as a chicken burger. Do not bother going here or ordering from the too good to go app. Twice shxt food and service

We eat out at Pizza Express regularly at different restaurants. Unfortunately Worthing did not meet the usual high standards of other branches. Food splats and food stains on walls not wiped down. Our waiter who was nice looked like he just rolled out of bed. Shirt not ironed, off white, stained trousers and just an unkempt look . The food was nice but we have eaten better. Overall a disappointing experience and questionable with personal hygiene.

Ordered from just eat…. Food was over an hour AFTER the time it said it would be delivered, eventually turned up, everything was cold and stone cold. Spoke to restaurant who blamed driver DESPITE the app having a real time driver whereabouts. When asked what to do she said we had to re-order the food again and re-pay for it if we wanted hot food!! Disgusting service.

If you're not familiar with its location, this express is very easy to miss. An absolutely delightful little courtyard greets you, and you can enjoy outdoor dining if you wish. Friendly and attentive staff, take good care of you. And with the offers they have, including their app and kids, eat free, a meal for an adult and child came to £16. Great value!

Fantastic Service at Pizza express as always. If I am meeting friends or family, Pizza express Worthing is my go too! Pizzas are fantastic and cater for needs such at Gluten intolerance. Which is very helpful. My favourite order would be the Margarita, Alforno Dough balls & Halloumi bites! Staff are always so welcoming, and smiling & helpful, I love seeing the staff Every-time I go! The food is always delicious. However I often get the same meal! I wish I could review this place more than once! I have visited 3 times this month (3 special occasions for dinner & Lunches) I will continue to update my review and add new photos

Visited at the weekend with our Lab puppy Toby, we were offered the garden area which did have a bit of cover as it started raining... Staff amazing, really friendly and attentive, Toby was spoilt too, and the pizzas were the best we've had at any pizza express..😊🐕‍🦺

Food was delicious and Felix was there to answer any questions we had ! Waitor (Mitch) and other staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely meal out and would recommend to anyone passing by.

We had a last minute decision to go out for food and the whole process at Pizza Express was brilliant, everything from the food right through to service. Excellent and attentive service from our waitress. The food was also excellent and as a family of 5 we ate well.

This restaurant is a credit to the Pizza Express chain. I love PE and have visited quite a few in my time but I have to say the Worthing one has got to be one of my favourites. The service is excellent - every single one of the hospitality team we spoke to were absolutely spot on. They were kind, personable, great with my son, read the room and knew when to come back and take further food or drink orders. Everything was spot on from the service perspective. The food was also delicious. We recently went to a different PE and the food was totally different and nowhere near as good. The food was aesthetically pleasing as well as cooked perfectly and great toppings on the pizzas. We sat outside in the sun which was lovely and it's really nice that there is an outside area. The pinot blush rose is some very good wine! All in all, I thought our afternoon lunch was great, extremely good value for money and I'm also pretty gobsmacked I haven't been here before, considering it's my home town. Loved it.

I had a takeaway delivery which apart from the garlic bread, was pretty dire to be honest. The pizza was a mangled, really dry mess, it didn't look or taste nothing like ones I've had in the past. Really dry.

Went for lunch today. The food was good and the staff member who greeted and served us was really nice and professional. I'm a wheelchair user and the restaurant is easily accessible and has a good disabled toilet with clear access to it. We will definitely go back

We got a delivery from Pizza Express yesterday and I couldn't eat it. I ordered lemon and herb chicken wings, and the chicken was disgusting. It was full of fat, no meat hardly, and the chicken wasn't even a wing. It had pink flesh in it. I also had chicken goujons, and they were burnt, dry, cold, and horrible. I also ordered halloumi bites, and oh my god, they were burnt, rubbery, cold, and tasteless. Never again would I ever eat in or take away. They shouldn't be allowed to send food out like this.

What a wonderful experience we had! We were welcomed warmly and our allergies were totally safely accommodated - the waiter was fantastic and the chef did a fantastic job! Thank you! We are so appreciative. Thank you also to the manager for speaking to me about the allergy menu the day before our visit and letting me know that the restaurant could safely accommodate us. My husband, daughter, granddaughter, two great grandsons (one of which is dairy free) & myself had a wonderful lunch there today 24/02. The food was delicious & the staff could not have been more understanding & helpful with our df option. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant & will certainly be returning there.

Went here December 2nd as part of a birthday party. Drink was nice, staff were nice and pizza was too. I recommend coming here if you're interested in pizza🍕 and want something quick/affordable.

Haven’t been here for years but that will now change. Fabulous family get together. Nine of us and a wheelchair. The food was amazing such a lot of choice and all served beautifully. Childrens menu very good and sensible sized portions for them. Adult pizzas out of this world, thoroughly recommend chicken fajita option. Staff were over and above in helping us, friendly and just lovely on such a busy day, 23rd December. Thank you all. We will be back very soon.

Had dinner here on a Friday evening, was warm and cosy. Service was lovely as was the food. Food came out quickly and piping hot.

We went tonight for my Sons 13th birthday meal and the service was incredible. The staff were kind enough to take my decorations prior to the booking and make note of his birthday. All the staff were superb and very friendly. Our waiter was incredible and had a great sense of humour, even going the extra mile to make a fuss out of my Son and make the whole restaurant sing happy birthday (the child was not so impressed). The food was great and for five of us with 8 drinks it came to £130 with two courses, so value for money I feel. Well done Worthing branch. ❤️❤️

To begin with catering for a massive party is one thing but they catered for a large number of young girls. Went there for a bit of a celebration and they did not fail to deliver. No issues with the food serving over 40 people in total with all different foods was brilliant pretty much all eating at same time so no issues of having to watch people eat. They put us upstairs as a group so was easy for them to help us. The staff were great food was lovely and even helping with the bill afterwards sending a breakdown the Monday after. Best pizza express. Georgia and Will were so friendly, kind and helpful with great service and food (even at the end of a long shift). That is unusual even in more expensive restaurants, but to be made to feel special in a chain restaurant is so rare! Thank you. Will and Georgia deserve promotions and a payrise - highly recommended. 👍👍👍

It’s not even worth a star. They gave me a wrong order, and won’t do anything about it. I have to wait for someone to email me on what they’re gonna do about it. Bad service. Never gonna order again. This should have been double checked by the restaurant staff as the pizza box is sealed, and should not be the uber driver checking the pizza. 😡

Food was cold first time round had to send back half our order. Salad was nice but in all honesty the rest of the meals were bland. Avoid the pasta dishes. UPDATE: contacted their head office and was given vouchers for a return visit. Sadly they did not meet the cost of our original meal even though I sent receipts. BUT on our return the food was excellent and the staff were very good. Manager was also very apologetic regarding our previous visit.

Really great staff & service! The food was good (kids bolognaise not so much!) but they didn’t hesitate to put this right. Really lovely staff I so hope they manage to keep their jobs under these circumstances.

Have not visited for a long time so thought I would treat myself. I waited next to the. Till by the door to be seated and a young waitress was using the till so could not miss I was there. She did not say I will be with you shortly just ignored me turned the other way. Then she walked off to speak with the other waitress and started to use her phone. I went forward so she could see me and eventually came over. I asked for a table for one and she offered me aa table right in the gangway and I said could I sit at another out of the way of the door. She went to go and look then went to customers at their table. Then she started cleaning table that were too big just for one person. I waited but she never came back so I left and went to the thieves kitchen where the service was excellent and the waitresses were excellent and saw to me straight away and smiled and communicated with their Customers. The service at pizza express was always so good.

Family visit to Worthing - great experience to PE - felt Covid safe, lovely staff, good service. Prices a little steep, we used Tesco vouchers to help. They accommodated our fussy eaters with no fuss.

The food was tasty like it always has been on previous visits and the service was very good. It was also very nice that pizza express still accept cash.

As a family, we have eaten here before. There were seven of us this time, the service was not great. We had to ask the staff to clear the table, 20 minutes after our starters were finished. Meanwhile a family that came in after us were served before us and were cleared away long before. A meal that maybe should have taken an hour and a half, took best part of 2hrs 45 mins.The food was ok although our grandsons pasta was undercooked. Would probably try here again and see if it was just a bit of bad luck.

To expensive. Cheese on bread (basically what pizza is) for 3 plus drinks should never come to this amount.

Went with a large group of friends. Everybody received the right food and all the orders came out pretty closely together, so no real waiting around. We were upstairs and the staff brought the drinks upstairs promptly. 2 or 3 course deals were good value, although fairly limited choice of desserts within the deal.We were sat around a very long table upstairs and the noise of everybody talking echoed around the room making it very difficult to speak with anyone other than the person next to you!The worst thing was the very sticky hand rail on the lovely spiral staircase - yuk!!
