Visited during their ale festival & very impressed with the range of ales available. Always an extremely busy wetherspoons with friendly staff.

Very slow service waited nearly an hour. All the food didn't come at once and had bits missing from the order that we had to chase up more than once.

For the record I work for Wetherspoons. This was a personal visit and introduction to my mother. I’m not from the area. Breakfast: I asked for a traditional breakfast for myself asking to substitute the mushrooms for a tomato. The bar tender gleefully told me that they do not swap out items anymore because other customers effectively upgrade a freedom breakfast to a tradition breakfast. I retorted surely as my purchase was for a tradition breakfast anyway they’d be able to swap said item as I don’t like mushrooms. She replied that she’d be able to remove mushrooms and that I’d have to pay for tomatoes. This will be a decision made by the pub manager and will be unique to Worthing, I doubt very much the area manager would be aware of such a restriction. It’s unheard of in other pubs across the chain. They should sort their pricing instead of going off-piste. I hope customers vote with their feet.

Great pub centrally located with a wide range of drinks and food as with the Wetherspoon chain.

Another Wetherspoons place so you know what to expect although the prices seem to be lower than in the surrounding West and East Sussex areas. Service was quite fast. Order through the app to be faster. Food is the usual average so don't expect too much. Can be quite busy sometimes so expect some noise. No parking on site but you can use paid parking lots nearby. Not very far from train station and close to town centre and seafront. Anyway, definitely recommend a visit to it.

I had a butterfly chicken burger with chips and onion rings, I had a full sugar Pepsi that was as flat as a pancake. Disappointing.

Good value & comfortable Wetherspoons pub in central Worthing. Nice friendly venue, with a good mix of all types, more so younger in the evenings. The food is always good and not expensive either. Good place to spend the evening. A favourite!

This is the worst’s breakfast I have ever had, it took 30 minutes to get it in front of me, and at a glance it looked like yesterdays food the bacon was black and the egg had been microwaved it was solid the has browns were lukewarm and mushy the beans were cold and looked as if they were straight from the tin. I’m not one to moan but this was well out of order, I viewed my opinion to the staff who just walked away and when we approached the the person who seemed to be in charge all she said that the cook was new and she would speak to him. It’s the worst place I have ever entered poor show. Value for money. ☹️

A typical Spoons pub. Used to be a Lloyds Bar playing music and fun but not anymore. Sometimes there are managers special meal deals. Guest ales are from £2.41.

We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning and I was very very surprised by both the quality and freshness of the breakfast. Everything had been cooked to order from what I can tell and was flipping delicious 😋 the free hot drink refills was an added bonus as I need at least 3 to get going in the morning. The atmosphere was set for an older crowd but then we were 2 families descending with our rowdy boys so can understand that we may not have been the usual breakfast clientele. Have recommended to everyone since. Was a great place to meet up just before Christmas for a catch up... The only negative I have to say is that there didn't seem to have been much cleaning done from the night before. We cleaned our own sticky table and my 2 year old picked up a false nail that someone had obviously lost the previous night. Will definitely be back 👍🏻

new years eve shut at 12.00 only pub to do it in worthing i heard the manager say there say there way was too many people no problems with that with two people serving people were leaving five staff standing in there little room by the bar

It's just spoons what more can I say cheap and cheerful you know what your going to get if you expect more you just don't go there but I like spoons like the breakfast all good

TURN THE AIRCON ON, it's boiling in here and its november! the place is always packed so definitely no need to penny pinch plus it stinks ofstale bottoms without circulating air.

Management couldn't order Ales if their lives depended on it. All they order is weak session Ales that people drink slowly. They are on for days which means they have empty pumps while they try to sell the old rubbish which they then reorder 🤔🤔🤔Don't get it?? Bring back the Shelley at least over there they knew Real Ale 😕🙁😠😈 Yet again I've braved it and the choice of Ales has got poorer and that's when there are any on. So many pumps and so many empty 🙄🙄🤔😳 I'm guessing the jugs of crappy cocktails are a staple now. Bring back the Shelley and it's great staff 😢😢😢🍻🍻🍻 Nothing changes...

Meeting point of two groups of people from Zumba, before going to Assembly Hall to see the show Queenz.

Excellent food service and atmosphere. We ended up here on Friday night after watching a band/concert opposite and had such a good time went there for the Saturday night, too !! Well done to all the staff

Great evening with loads to drink and loads of food selection. Easily spent 4 hours in good company which went by like a breeze. The level of service is amazing and good thing it’s the same across every Wetherspoon pubs I’ve visited.

Witherspoon, what you expect and the prices are great

My partner and I went to The Three Fishes on Wednesday July 17th 2024 between 7pm and 9pm.The staff who were on duty at that time one could not fault. The tables were kept clean as people left, the meals were served very professionally always returning to see if everything was ok.

I popped in for a late evening drink and a snack before getting the train to London. After a long day walking around Goring by Sea and Worthing I had a very refreshing soda water with fresh lime and ice and nachos with cheese and dips topping. All the staff are very friendly. Everything came quickly and it was a cheery little pub .

Have to say thr breakfast is great for the money. It's not somewhere I would go and personally drink. But a great place if it's your sort of setting. Bar woman was moody ( young girl ) no thank you, no help or anything.. venue was clean including the toilets. Tables was cleaned away very promptly which is alway fantastic. I wouls visit again for the breakfast

Disappointing order steak pudding with mash mushy peas and jug of gravy .mash and mushy peas not available so served with chips and garden peas. Gravy failed to arrived when I asked bought some out but in two tiny dishes designed to be used for sauces. Looked Iver to another table 5 minutes later mash and gravey in gravey boat back on. Hubby had to choose 3 different ales before found one the had.

A nice meal had before going to see that will be the day at the pavilion theatre

We just had a quick cheap pint, from a great selection. It's a bit of a Wetherspoons type pub. Went somewhere nicer after which sums the place up.

Very disappointed today ! My mixed grill today was shocking. The chips where cold. Not only on mine but on the other burger meal , mushroom/tomato was not cooked . 7 onion ring in a separate bowl instead of being on the meal and a sausage was also forgot on the mixed grill .. SHOCKING .. food sent straight back . Apart from that.the service was fantastic and the server lovely

We go to Wetherspoon's quite often, mostly to Worthing, Littlehampton or Bognor Regis. Today, at The Three Fishes, we ordered breakfast muffins with our coffee. I was really disappointed with my egg and bacon muffin. The muffin itself was almost rock hard. The egg was cold, burnt underneath and most of the yolk had run out onto the plate. The bacon was just about passable. We have had the breakfast muffins before, and they have mostly been well presented and hot. The person who prepared ours today, could do with more training! Serving cold food is unacceptable. Having said that, the staff in all three of the pubs are very pleasant.

Came in late afternoon last week. Didn’t expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Staff friendly and helpful. Husband had the gammon, eggs, jacket potato and peas. He’s a biggish eater and found it more than enough. I went for the burger and chips and couldn’t fault it. We had 2 beers, 2 wines and the two meals as stated - approx £21! What’s there to moan about? Wouldn’t get this anywhere else. The tv was on and we wondered if they would change the channel to the football - but they didn’t. Wasn’t a problem either way but it wasn’t loud and we could actually hear ourselves talk - unlike some places! Come on folks - give this place a chance and stop moaning. We are looking forward to coming back.

Fairly standard Wetherspoons, smallish range of ales although that's probably because it's actually a Lloyd's No. 1. Usual Wetherspoons fayre though at the usual prices. **UPDATE 13th May 2024** No longer a Lloyds No. 1 but still a Spoons and still the same.

Group of 5 for an evening meal. Everyone was happy with their meals. Excellent price for dinner and a drink. The only fault was that the meals came at different times, so when the last person got their meal the first person was nearly finished.

It's Weatherspoons but on a better level, win win!

I have never been a huge Wetherspoon pubs fan but they are usually cheaper than most and their traditional breakfast is sufficient. Took a little longer than usual for it to arrive and staff member apologised for that. All was OK.

Lovely pub. It was pretty busy, but we managed to find a table downstairs. Service was quick, which was good. Staff were all friendly and polite. Outside seating, but I didn't go out as the weather wasn't very good.

It's a convenient pub to go to for a coffee or a drink if you're early for the show at the assembly hall.

The best service I have ever received at a Spoons. As soon as we walked in we were acknowledged and helped by a member of staff, as I was trying to make room for a highchair. He immediately offered and went to get one. That particular member of staff was friendly and attentive throughout our stay, to every customer. The breakfast was probably the nicest I've had too, everything was cooked perfectly and very fresh. We had a good selection of items between us and nothing was any less than perfect. My only criticisms would be the staff that smelled very strongly of cigarettes, who dropped off our food, and the very loud and aggressive conversation a couple of women were having - I wasn't sure if it was going to break into a physical fight and it made me a little uncomfortable.

Even during this cost of living crisis, they have maintained a great value coffee deal (albeit a little more expensive!) - great Italian coffee as well!

Oh dear where to start. Shame I forgot to take photos. This wasn't great for anything unfortunately. Food was undercooked. Had a hair. And service was very slow. I wouldn't not recommend

A nice pub, abit local, but overall a ok place, but abit like the slaughtered lamb when full of locals, it's a JD wetherspoons, that's it only saving grace. Don't let the pub cloud your view of the area,

Whatever was nice was completely undermined by the staff and the cleanliness, the woman behind the bar who served me had "issues" she kept asking Jamie for help with the till, whether it's a lack of training or her SEN she needed help constantly. That's not a problem for me but she was out of her depth and should be given more attention and help. The food was good but let down by the dirty cutlery, I had to wait for replacement cutlery and even then I had to clean it under the hot water at the tea station. Awful experience and wouldn't go back.

As weatherspoons goes, a poor performer. In a party of 6 no-one enjoyed their food and serving frozen fries within a portion is poor quality control at the pass and unacceptable

Yet another Wetherspoon pub in which the barmaid is incapable of saying hello, please or thank you. If you don't like your job, love... LEAVE! However, a few minutes later as I joked about this with the young barman, he told me she was his girlfriend and was having a bad day. Don't make my day bad! He was exceptionally cheerful in contrast.

Blanket ban on dogs. Shan't be returning.

Surfaces were sticky. Sofa where we sat upstairs was very heavily stained, but only place left to sit. When we left, noticed all sofas were in the same condition. Food was good and service pleasant.

Went in for the first time on a miserable day and the place put a smile on my very wet face. The food was cheap, the meal was a decent size, and for £7 for a meal and a pint you can't complain and delicious. The staff are friendly and the pub was clean and tidy. A very nice place to visit. Recommend to one and all. Good selection of beer and ciders.
