Staff needs to be trained professionally. Slightly expensive restaurant. Needs updating in few areas.

This is a hospital restaurant which is well stocked with snacks and drinks and offers sandwiches and hot food , I was very surprised by how clean it was and the assortment of snacks you can by even some gluten free , every thing looked edible and it didn't have a funny smell like some hospital restaurants . If I wasn't visiting anyone in hospital I might even pop in anyway for a snack if parking wasn't such a nightmare !!!

Was surprised, but pleased to see the main breakfast offering was fried eggs, sausages and bacon. With fried bread and hash browns offered on the set meal. The cook ? could only cook 3 eggs at a time, in a pan filled with oil. So there was a backlog, but then it is a hospital. So waiting around was to be expected. Not a restaurant, but an OK cafe really.

Bright, airy, modern and spotlessly clean premises are hallmarks of the Shoreline Restaurant. Open to staff and visitors alike it serves reasonably good mass produced food as well as meals to order on occasion. The food experienced on this visit was surprisingly good for this type of operation. The price of food is quite low, possibly subsidized. If visiting Worthing Hospital this is a good place for a low cost meal or snacks and drinks, particularly for the hour and a half between afternoon and evening.visiting hours, but don.t expect the Ritz! It is wheelchair accessible via a small passenger- operated lift.

This is a hospital restaurant used by staff and members of the public, and very good too. There is a choice of hot and cold food, and the menu is varied daily. It's not too expensive either which helps.

There are lots of jokes about hospital food and some of them I'm sure are well founded. But if you don't have breakfast here the joke is on you. The Shoreline is open to the public and provides cafe style food for staff and public. I bring my team of doctors here for breakfast morning when we are on call. Coffee and a bacon roll for under £2. Its quick and its clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I'm not suggesting that you make a day out of coming to the Shoreline but if your in the hospital and you need a sit down and a bite to eat you couldn't do better.

We were going to eat in the cafe, but were put off by the number of uncleared tables. The whole place looked a mess! And it wasn't even a busy time! And the customer toilets ( at least in the gents ) were a disgrace. There was no toilet paper in the WCs, the one soap dispenser was empty and one of the two hand dryers wasn't working.

Well, three stars is generous as far as the food, decor and ambiance are concerned, but the owner is so gentle and enthusiastic that two stars seems a bit mean. If the internet was working and we had read some of the reviews we wouldn’t have gone. As it is we waded though the chunks of onion that accompanied the popadoms, the salmon that tasted dry and too fishy for its own good, the sag paneer, bizarre for its lack of cheese. Worse of all was the doughy disc of supposed garlic nan so poor. Best thing was the kind prawn delight, hardly a delight but pretty good all the same.

I always have coffee in this coffee shop as it is closest to me and they have a nice tasting coffee. However, the cafe is always dirty. Crumbs on the seat and left over food in the table. Also, you will always smell kitchen after sitting in the cafe for few minutes. Customer service is not great too, barista is always so cold and not welcoming.

I have visited this cafe twice now with my father in law who is in a wheelchair and frail. Both times the staff have been so welcoming, not minding me doing furniture moving to get dad into a spot where he will be happy. They have also been very understanding about my requests for the way dads drinks are made. We haven't eaten there yet, but the food looks lovely and everyone I have seen has cleared their plates. They also have a children's play area for younger children. I would recommend this cafe to everyone.

Lovely spot especially if you can get an outside table. Shame the windows have the bars across but can still see the sea and beach. Food and drink is of the cheap and cheerful price point. We had cheese burger and chips, the burger was a very good size and tasty. They have cakes, cookies and other snacks, all far cheaper than other venues locally. The staff are lovely, so polite, chatty, and efficient. It makes a change to have such good service these days. We have been back a few times recently because we enjoyed the food and service. It's not for everyone, but the prices more than reflect that. My only negative would be the opening hours don't necessarily match that advertised online.
