Terrible food , Welsh rarebit is not a scraping of cheese on untoasted bread !! Sent it back then they sent out toast with scraping of melted cheese salad was not fresh slimy rocket and charged 9.99 for that …awful

Called in here with my wife, we were staying over the road at the crown plaza hotel, But the prices were high, we were welcomed by a nice man who said he was a manager from head office on day experience, he was very pleasant and helpful, the coffees were good and the food too. Worth a visit on a busy enterprise park

Closed drive through at 9.15 as to quote the most senior member of staff they could not cope with only 3 staff and customers inside , not surprising given the surly rude “take it or leave it “attitude of one of the 3 staff , dreadful , if you can’t cope don’t open

We have not been here since it was Wyvales but thought we would try the afternoon tea. We pre booked and added the savoury plate in addition so it worked out at just under £16.50 each. I must say it was a disappointment. To start with the savoury plates were well worth the extra £2.95. The prawn vol-au-vents and sausage rolls were perfect but the cheese vol-au-vent was far too cheesey. As for the afternoon tea itself, the scones that we were served were nowhere near the size of the ones on display at the counter, so I am not sure if you get something different on the afternoon tea but they were much smaller, so we felt a bit conned. As you can see from the photos, the scones were no bigger than the small pot of clotted cream and even if you compare it to the photo of an earlier reviewer you can see the size difference. The sandwiches were okay but the cucumber ones were just plain cucumber and the salmon one was very strong. Despite their size, the scones were nice. Overall, I don't think its worth it to be honest. Whilst we were there we saw some really good looking portions of fish and chips so if we go back it's probably going to be that for us but by 13:00 was all sold out, so go early.

Placing an order and then being called 10 times to go pick my order up from downstairs, they can't even bother coming at the door no more . We all being charged with delivery, is not like is included in the price of the pizza. Beside I receive this email asking me to tip the driver which apparently comes to my door 🤣🤣🤣. Is this a joke ? Driver was waiting downstairs for a while for me to go collect order instead of getting rid of the order and deliver it at the door as is sais in the email ..

I've always heard good things about this place. But the last two times I've ordered have been awful. I had an item not delivered (but paid for) and last time 2 of the 4 dishes were not very hot and also very watery. There is no email address to contact and the phone is not picked up during the day. Such a shame.

Staff we pleasant, food was perfect, was a pleasure to be in a country pub, nice setting nothing was any trouble

Absolutely disgusting floor, walls and don’t get me started the toilet facilities 🤮 dread to think what’s behind the counter. Food is always good but hygiene not so great.

Just a warning that these guys are not on the level. Last week our regular order was cancelled because of a power outage. We waited an hour and called them (nothing proactive) and agreed that we’d cancel and make other arrangements. Later that evening they tried to deliver the order but we’d already eaten. Even though we turned them away we were still charged. Buyer beware! Is a shame as their deliveries are usually fast and hot - ideal fast food.

First time I have been here for some years, and was surprised to see it is now a Dobbies Garden Centre with a Waitrose inside. I confess to liking garden centres more for the home stuff than the garden gear, so I was disappointed as there was not really that much on offer. We contemplated having lunch here but the menu looked poor and there weren't many customers in the café section which was probably telling. Also noticed Ladd's Garden Centre is now shut so that is pretty disappointing.

Sai’s always cook the fish perfectly, always with a crispy batter. The portions are very generous and service is polite and efficient. I highly recommend.

Tried this takeaway for the first time and found the online ordering very good but the food was a different story. All the dishes were swimming in a tasteless grey liquid and the food was soggy like it has been kept warm and not cooked in a wok. The chicken was very white and looked like preformed children’s plastic toy food and rubbery, everything lacked taste. Very average food and won’t be using again there is an outstanding take away nearby.

Many of the reviews for this Costa mention the drive thru. Ignore them, they are reviewing the wrong Costa Coffee. This one is the Costa Coffee inside the Showcase Cinema complex on Loddon Bridge Road and the experience is usually very good. Service is good, and the environment is pleasant given that it is in a cinema foyer. The reviews mentioning overworked staff and poor drive thru service are reviewing the Costa Coffe that is on the other side of the roundabout next to the Premier Inn. I concur with the reviews that the service at this branch is not good due to the extremely high volume of customers. Some (but not all) staff can be abrupt and a little rude mainly becuase of the extreme stress they are under. But visiting this Costa Coffee inside the Showcase Cinema is a much more pleasant experience.
