We have not been here since it was Wyvales but thought we would try the afternoon tea. We pre booked and added the savoury plate in addition so it worked out at just under £16.50 each. I must say it was a disappointment. To start with the savoury plates were well worth the extra £2.95. The prawn vol-au-vents and sausage rolls were perfect but the cheese vol-au-vent was far too cheesey. As for the afternoon tea itself, the scones that we were served were nowhere near the size of the ones on display at the counter, so I am not sure if you get something different on the afternoon tea but they were much smaller, so we felt a bit conned. As you can see from the photos, the scones were no bigger than the small pot of clotted cream and even if you compare it to the photo of an earlier reviewer you can see the size difference. The sandwiches were okay but the cucumber ones were just plain cucumber and the salmon one was very strong. Despite their size, the scones were nice. Overall, I don't think its worth it to be honest. Whilst we were there we saw some really good looking portions of fish and chips so if we go back it's probably going to be that for us but by 13:00 was all sold out, so go early.

I came here with a friend and our babies to use the soft play and booked afternoon tea last minute. The food and service were so good. It was very busy but the staff were still very attentive and friendly, we had such a nice time

We popped in to the garden centre having been there many years ago . The restaurant was busy and very noisy with lots of young children as there is a soft play area available . That was not a problem . When we ordered the breakfast they said they had no baked beans or sausages so we could have an extra portion of something else . My husband chose egg on his English breakfast I chose mushroom . When it arrived I had one mushroom cut in half. ! The veggie sausage was awful the egg was hard and swimming in oil . It really was not good . Won’t be returning .

My mother in law booked afternoon tea and specifically told the staff that I have a severe nut allergy. Upon visiting the cafe, I told the server behind the counter that I'm the one with the nut allergy. They said it wouldn't be a problem. I was given cake containing some kind of tree nut as part of a chocolate mouse (so rather hard to spot). Thankfully I didn't eat it because I checked the allergens last minute online. When we complained we were given "complimentary free drinks"... But when we got home we found that they had been charged on the card details that were given separately for the booking. This is illegal, and hardly an apology for being given food that would land me in a hospital, which could be life threatening. I don't blame the server, please train your staff properly and do not make nonconsensual transactions from our credit card.

Seems to be run by scruffy Indians with very poor personal hygiene and appearance who haven't got a clue what they're doing. Wouldn't trust any of them to open a tin of cat food and feed my cat, let alone make me a pizza. Don't expect your order to delivered on time,or be ready for collection at the requested time. More than that, if you don't want to be put off your food altogether, don't let yourself see the dirty, scruffy, unhygienic staff that make it! My last experience at that store has put me off Dominos for life!!!

We stopped off here after a walk for breakfast and highly recommend. Its dog friendly and was packed at 10am on a Saturday which was a good sign. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a couple of the English breakfasts and a breakfast bap which was so tasty. The breakfasts was freshly cooked and not at all greasy. Great coffee too, highly recommend

Friendly, standard subway fare. Standard prices. Tasty, but Stingy on salad stuff with just 5 kernels of sweetcorn as a "portion" 1/400 of your "5 a day"!! Boss was dishing it out. So he can't blame the staff!

Great breakfast, very fast service, lovely staff in cafe, and outside, very good selection of goods, a lovely place to go. Went last year in may, still a great garden centre.
