The best restaurants in Hailsham Central and North Wealden South East

We go everything single Tuesday not only is it the most fantastic food - highly recommend the chicken and lamb tikka starter, chicken chaat puree , tikka massala is amazing , but the chicken and lamb shashlik is to die for, and the absolute must is the mushroom rice and saag also as sides washed down nicely with their pinot blush and an ice cold lemoncello!!! The service is always second to none every single member of the team is an asset run superbly by the lovely Kash who always goes above and beyond !

Amzing place food is lovely and the people are so kind I usually have the burger and chips and it is always lovely. Hot chocolates are so good and they are really generous with toppings

Absolutely disgusting, whole lot went into the bin. The amount of oil over the food was not ok.. totally tasteless. What a waste

Good bits, the food is usually good at the weekends, so so in the week. Beware admin charges,they take the piss. Your delivery will be late, our last order was delivered 40 mins late, when I phoned up about it the bloke on the other end said it was due to Heavy traffic!!! Moron. When I said it would react to how I reviewed them he said good,its all good advertising. So customer care is a myth here you are only valued for your wallet.

There is no cafe here that I could find actually, only a coffee machine by the entrance, which is free if you make a purchase in store and take your own cup with you.

Put an order in at 10am Which i gave them 12 hours to process my order because lets face it, It isn't rocket science cooking food for my family. 12 o clock arrived and still nothing no one answering the phone finally i had a delivery driver asking me to call back in an hour because he doesn't know how to cook pizzas nor does he know how to refund money. My order has been "sat" in the system for over 90 minutes without confirmation. So basically they are not only robbing people they can't even provide or get out of bed for the service they provide. So question is if they can't get out of bed and do a job. Why is it still in the highstreet. Wondering if these are because they are brain dead. Put in complaints to papa johns because they have no phone numbers for their own customer services department...... Simple question is at least with domino's you aren't dissapointed you get what you get. This place its best you stay the hell away. And as i was the only customer.. My exptations are that this should be hot not look like the rest of the offerings that are on this site. Update after 3 hrs no response after saving my phone number. No calls. And Then no delivery. It was processing then it stopped. I guess they really haven't a freaking clue how to run a business. I Used to love papa johns but they can sod that

food was so hot when it arrived I had to open a window while eating it, delicious, good value for money. what's not to like

When the next day, you’re still talking about how bad the service was, and watch every table you arrived before get served, eat, and leave. Literally lunch was over before we got served our lunch. Service was friendly on arrival, but that’s when it ended too. No one wanted the warm-ish food when it finally arrived. We didn’t leave a tip, and that’s super rare to annoy us that much.

Sadly still waiting for my refund after them asking me to email them my details that I did 5 weeks ago

Was absolutely disgusted at the customer service with a certain member of Staff!!! Missing an item from an order and would not put it right so thereby stole money!! I would never use this place again.

Order food for delivery it took an hour and 45 to come and was cold and dry. I will not be ordering again from this papa John’s
