Delivery never arrived, called them up regarding a refund, still waiting for them to get back to me.

Its turned crap, theres always stuff missing and the food is cold. It used to be good up until about 6 months ago but has really gone downhill. The food quality is now awful and it always comes 30min - 1hr late. When it does come, it's always cold with something missing. When you ring up to tell them they just say, "next time u order we'll give u something extra. I'm not really interested in that, I'd rather get what I ordered and paid for, especially when we have guests round and it's already an hour late!!

It used to be good. In the last 6 months Crap service, always late, always food missing, food always cold.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

We love Simpsons for Takeaway chicken. Their hot wings are great and we prefer the fried chicken over the international chain elsewhere in Hailsham; much less greasy. I can't comment on menu items other than chicken, it's our go-to for chicken. if we want burgers, we would go to a burger place. You're spoiled for choice in the immediate area. We are just outside their delivery zone, so we take a drive every couple of months to pick it up ourself. Never a bad experience in 10 years. We are always greeted by a cheery smile and served quickly. Be aware they no longer have tables to sit and eat in-house, takeaway only.

Absolutely p of s!!! Any time I'm calling them for order they don't understand what people saying They don't understand English language IQ MAXIMUM 10. When you coming they forgetting about the client who wants to make an order they are to busy talking them self.

Had filltet chicken buger was slightly pink on inside on parts but was hot and tasty but I don't like chicken over cook been 24hrs now and not had any proplems we all ways eat from there food all ways good the ribs are the best tho

The food arrived over an hour after the order was placed which I appreciate as it's a busy time but the chips were cold and I didn't receive the drink I ordered. 2 burgers, 2 drinks and chips, how tricky can that be?

Food arrived on time, was lovely and warm. Food was great, chicken was so fresh and cooked perfect. Very happy with meal, would recommend and Will definitely order again

I've never been a fan of the amerikun "K" brand of fried chicken and for this reason I tried my luck at Simpsons, located on Hailsham's High Street. Whilst the greeting I received was somewhere between lukewarm and brain-dead, I found the chicken to be precisely as it should - crispy on the outside and moist & flavourful on the inside. Well worth the visit despite the parking challenges the high street presents. I wrote this initial review approximately 5 years ago and am updating it now, confirming the fact that I quite enjoy their chicken. The staff have always been polite and friendly towards me and the chicken has been consistently lovely. The men who serve me work professionally and ensure I'm well served. The chicken is always hot and the product is just how I like it: crispy and flavourful skin and most, tender chicken inside. Over the years the staff have come to anticipate my needs and work hard to ensure I receive what I enjoy most. Compared to the other 'chicken' companies who only use initials to describe what they're selling, I find Simpson's to be the absolute best fried chicken available in the UK and it certainly beats

After a long day we had an excellent meal..Chicken was moist and large and was fair better then other establishments and burgers was big and juicey..really enjoyed and will definitely be returning... thank you all staff 🥰

Food has dropped in quality (which was great and now good), yet prices continue to rise. Staff are pleasant as always. Way too long for delivery. Well over an hour. May need to reflect this on your website. Chicken tenders were much smaller than usual with grisly bits. Such a shame. We have been eating from Simpsons for years and always felt 5-star. Something seems to have changed for the worst sadly. I will order again, but not for a while.

Ordered a burger meal deal. Two quarter pounders with sauce, two cheese burgers. Came 10mins early which was great, however, only one of the quarter pounders had sauce, the cheese burgers were tiny and didn't have cheese. Called up and got told it was my own fault for not selecting cheese in the drop down menu (I thought this was for extra cheese so didn't select). So apparently to get cheese in my cheese burger I have to pay 50p per burger because not everyone likes cheese! And the child-sized burger we got is apparently the correct size. No explantion as to where the missing sauce was. Food was also delivered luke warm but hey they gave us free gravy & beans 🤦‍♀️

Only chicken shop in town tbf so can only give it a 3 star foods not bad but delivery is always missing food or never getting orders rite.

We tried to place an order online and it said shop closed so we refreshed it and it’s Said error not working . So we ordered elsewhere, after then Simpsons turned up with the food we did not order we then turned down the food and explained the driver who then continued to shout at us saying we are banned and no longer aloud to order and we are no longer aloud to order from the shop after using them for many years ! We then called the shop about the issue and then he started to shout down the phone saying he doesn’t care about us !! I am very disappointed and very angry at this behaviour !

Food is alright but the Service is pretty bad, I waited more than 20 min although I scheduled every time, this is still a problem, and today I was late for 10min and he shouted at me and said his never gonna deliver for me again.

I go here often. Always efficient, most of the menu is great. Decent price, especially compared to KFC. My food has always been well cooked, never had an issue.

Charged me 28.95 for meals took money from my account and an hour later told me they haven’t received my order and rudely refused to deliver my food even though they have taken my money then shouted at me in a foreign language and hung up do not use they just steal your money and use threatening behaviour when you ask for your food criminals

A fried chicken masterclass! 100% better than KFC

Have used before and usually really good. Ordered last month and waited nearly an hour and a half for it to be delivered, when it arrived it was cold and all our drinks were missing. Gave them another chance tonight as thought it might have been a one off, waited and and called to find out where is was…. To be told they’d forgotten about our order!!!

1 star because I can’t give 0.. This takeaway gave me severe food poisoning. Called the restaurant to complain directly after seeing my GP to be accused of lying. Will avoid at all costs now

Terrible customer service. Had an item missing from our order and 2 drinks that were wrong. Rang the shop, he blamed the driver and told us to contact the driver, we didn't have a number and told him this, he then quickly became more irate, shouting and swearing and hanging up. This isn't the first time we have had similar issues but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Never again. Chips were dry, lettuce was old, wilted and discoloured, chicken was very soggy/greasy

Pre-ordered food at 7pm for 8pm delivery. No confirmation so call at 7.40pm to be told it will be delivered for 8pm. 8.15pm no delivery. Called to see where food is - told they're round the corner! 8.35pm we got our food. No apology. I'd understand that delay on a weekend, but it's a Thursday night? We won't be going back. Also the food is COLD! 😭

Food ordered was not delivered , called and was told it was an old menu ( the actual website ) if I wanted the extras I would need to pay , very unprofessional and unhelpful

Have had a number of takeaways from Simpsons, everyone perfect. During lockdown my daughter turned 6, not able to see family/ friends all she asked for was for takeaway. She chose Simpsons and was over the moon, great food & nice friendly delivery driver. Proper food unlike a well known alternative where all you get is greese in a box. Has now become our family favourite takeaway.

The food smelt lovely from outside so we ordered dinner and collected it but massive regret! My dog has a feast tonight The chicken strips smelt and tasted like fags it was rancid The chicken tower burger was rock hard The chicken drumsticks were very fatty no meat The chips are lovely yay! DO NOT ORDER FOR DELIVERY. They take anything up to and hour or more to actually get your food to you even on non busy days and non busy times. The chicken is good but the delivery times are ridiculous. Go into the store.

Don’t be discouraged by some of the negative reviews on here, Simpson’s chicken is the best chicken place I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to many. Great quality chicken lads, keep it up.

Excellent fast food outlet offering free delivery. Ribs are awesome, and the chicken fillet is really nice as well. Very friendly staff. We often get extra chicken put in with our order! TIP!! They also own the Costcutters shop next door, so if you ask nicely sometimes they will deliver cigarettes, milk etc!

Simpsons Chickens is a take away food shop that stocks chicken and chips, fish and more it's not to expensive to buy for a big family's. It is usually not to busy so you can get quick service most of the time but it does take a while because they make it when you order. I think that simpsons chicken is a really good place to get a take out.
