Very disappointed with my meal, it was not cheap either! Chips were hard, food tasted of nothing, I also ordered a chocolate eclaire for dessert. It was truly abysmal and inedible! Dry as anything, rock solid, no cream and the chocolate on top was a mess. I can't believe they have the audacity to serve it to a paid customer. The Bonoffee pie was not the traditional bonofee pie it was a banana flavoured ice cream and the chocolate cake was hard and dry tasteless. Do not waste your money on them. I definitely won't be returning.

Disappointed, I got a mixed shish wrap, the lamb was very chewy and has left a strange not nice aftertaste in my mouth. Apart from that it was okay.. very bland. Also found it very expensive £14 2 out of 5 stars

Paid £15.50 for a mixed kebab, should of been £1.50! Small meat portions for cost price and the doner meat tasted like chewy salt! Salad consisted of lettuce, tomato and cucumber. No onion, cabbage or jalapeños. Garlic sauce was the consistency cold porridge and tasted of sweet minty yoghurt. Avoid this establishment!

We were in the area and we were very hungry, but the only place open at 1 pm was Volkan grill. I ordered 4 stick chicken and 2 lamb, all the largest, 2 salads and a large portion of chips, I paid 36 pounds. The meat is tasty and soft. Of course we couldn't eat it all, we only had half of what we took.

Shish kebab was like a snack and had to go back to get some salad as the guy forgot to put any in.

I haven’t ordered from here for around 2 months. I feel they have made a lot of changes even my children made comments on how good the food is. My order this evening has to top most takeaways in the area.

This was the worst place I have eaten. Ordered a lamb Sheesh kebab and I had a mouthful and it was absolutely disgusting, I couldn't even say if it was lamb I ate. Please avoid this place as it wasn't even cheap. Ive had cheaper and tasted better. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered a kebab, asked for a chicken Shish & without asking they assumed I wanted a large. Specify what you want otherwise they’ll put it through as large & charge more than expected.

I had kebabs and pizzas from Volkan grill over the years, what can I say spot on every time.

Ordered the cod and chips last night and was quite disappointed. Was very overcooked, with some of the fish uneatable the batter a burnt dark brown. Plus side the fish was piping hot. However the chips were limp and cold. The garlic mushroom side was equally over cooked and had no garlic. Humus was good and my wife’s chicken order was reasonable. Staff friendly and place tidy. Order was ready within the 25 minutes fir collection.

Paid £30 and waited 1 hour for a cold pizza and 2 soggy chicken kebabs to arrive. Ordered garlic sauce on one, yet both kebabs arrived with some sort of white mint sauce on. Phoned up to say the order was wrong and apparently we were incorrect, as the 'garlic' sauce was in fact garlic and mint, not specified as such on their website! The customer service is absolutely shocking, they couldn't have been more rude if they tried. Have supported this local business for many years as a loyal customer, but no more. I will not tolerate cold deliveries and incorrect orders with no word of an apology anymore. I will never order from them again.

Just purchased four meals tonght burger bun was so stale couldnt cut through it, donar meat cold chips soggy £30 worth of crap couldnt even wash it down with a can of drink at £1.50 a can we bought i them up the road for a £1 a can certainly wont be going back there ever again best avoided unless you like over priced rubbish

The tastiest pizza ever!! Kind staff and good service 🙃🍕 I have seen first hand how hard the staff work in this shop. Mehmet works here 7 days a week, all year around. Please be considerate of your reviews - he has put his life in to this for over 30 years. He makes sure to buy the best quality ingredients and works like crazy to get food to your doors. Extremely hygienic in the kitchen and has received a five star rating from the council for food hygiene and this has been the case for about 10 years. You pay for what you get here in terms of quality . Thank you Volkan grill 🙃

Doner meat was cold and obviously the scraps. Durum kebab had three pieces of meat in it. Won't be ordering from them again!

order wrong and food missing again, delivery time advised of 45 mins but double to when actually received at 1 hour and 1/2 When phoned staff extremely rude and advise “well you have a choice so don’t order from here again “ so I won’t !

Every time we get it delivered its cold and the chip portion is smaller than smaller especially when you pay for a large!! Its not cheap especially when there is a few of us..not happy about the portion sizes especially when its actually rather expensive! Such a shame because actually the food does taste good when its warm!

INCOMPLETE ORDER!! This place used to be great. With 5 guys behind the counter (more than other side), you would think one of them would get it right. How many does it take to change a lightbulb or cook a decent kebab?
