Usual good McDonald's food but restaurant was dirty and litter everywhere.

Poor service, gormless employees. Struggle to get orders right. Needs closing and starting again. Poor hygiene.

Best mc donadles 💯. Always cheerful ,fast and efficient, foods always hot 🔥 and plenty of choice ,love coming here with my daughters. Toffee lattee is the best 👌. X

Me and my little sister aged 12 went in to enjoy a nice mcdonalds. After we ordered, we got served with our food and some guy roughly 17-18 year old went up to my sister and started saying some really inappropriate stuff. Pretty sure his name was harry or harold. Apart from that food was good :)

staff are alright at best massively let down by the manager Robin where do i even start massively let me down the way he treats some of the kids in there constantly abusing his power and bullying them the amount of times i’ve heard him tell children in younger years to never come back is absurd and embarrassing honestly shocked that he still works as a (manager) acting like that with children definitely something needs to happen that’s why i’m writing this review today 👍🏻

Been to drive thru a couple of times for covience. This is the worst McDonald's I have been to. Chips and burger really greasy. Burger looked as if it had been thrown into the box. Won't be back again, would rather go hungry

The fries are always a little stale but still fairly decent. Hotspot for anti-social behaviour. Do the drivethrough.

I recently had an extremely unpleasant and concerning experience with a McDonald’s employee named Harry Marsh, and I feel compelled to report the numerous serious issues that occurred during my visit. To begin with, his service was downright awful. From the moment we placed our order, he was rude, dismissive, and seemed completely uninterested in doing his job properly. It was as if serving customers was a burden for him. However, things took a turn for the worse when I received my food and found *dandruff* in my burger. I couldn’t believe it—flakes of dandruff sprinkled inside my food, which is beyond disgusting and an absolute violation of basic hygiene standards. I was appalled and lost my appetite immediately. But the most alarming part of this experience was Harry’s inappropriate behavior toward my 14-year-old daughter. While we were waiting for our food, he made several unsettling comments to her, which made her visibly uncomfortable. His remarks were highly inappropriate, especially considering her young age. No employee should be making suggestive or inappropriate comments to any customer, let alone a minor. I was horrified as a parent, and I cannot overstate how out of line this was. This entire experience reflects poorly on McDonald’s, a company that is supposed to provide a family-friendly environment. The lack of professionalism, coupled with Harry’s disgusting hygiene and inappropriate behavior, is something I never expected to encounter. I am deeply dissatisfied and extremely concerned about this situation. It’s critical that McDonald’s addresses this issue immediately to ensure that no other customers have to go through such a disturbing and unacceptable experience.

I was going to grab a quick wrap of the day and a happy meal for my daughter, then a man about 5'4, fluffy brown hair, and looked about 18 years of age, had followed my vehicle after his shift, and has tried to lure my child to his house. I am saying this to spread awareness of the employee, the worker's name on the name tag was something like, harold, or harry. good food though!

i came here yesterday to get myself and my child a meal and a individual with brown fluffy hair served me and my child food and came out the restaurant asking for my number and said i quote “your fit let me lick them kebab flaps later” which is absolutely inappropriate and a disgrace to this establishment i think his name badge said harry but i am not 100% sure thanks for letting me leave this review.

Easy to find and plentiful parking near centre. We opted for the wrap of the day @ £1.99 and indulged in two! Fresh, delicious and succulent. Fast service and clean tables.

This is a disgusting excuse for a food outlet, the food was binned as uneatable. I will never visit an outlet of this description again. They should be jailed for profiteering by selling this rubbish. NEVER AGAIN.

As me and friend was eating I got a Big Mac and there was mould on the cheese. Plus the burger was really greasy and tasted like nothing. I also ordered a Orange Fanta but I tasted like chemicals blended together and thrown into a bottle. As for my friend, she orders an apple pie and as she was eating her tooth fell out (which wasn’t wobbly) and the apple pie stuck to it. Another thing that I ordered was the chips, they looked like it just came out of the fridge as they was freezing cold. The manager was rude to the lower down staff for no reason. I wouldn’t recommend this place in a million years to anybody!!!

Ordered a Big Mac meal. Waited over ten minutes. Toilets were filthy, no toilet roll. It was a Saturday lunchtime. Where are the staff? Just Eat/Uber Eats orders taking priority. What a disappointment. I know it’s fast food but it’s crap.

MdDonal's in Uckfield used to serve food when it was still hot but that is now not the case. We ordered our McDonald's medium burger meal at about 4:30pm so it wasn't crowded in there. We sat down and waited about 8 minutes until the food was ready. When I put the food on the table, the chips were cold and tasted like cardboard, the double cheesburgers were not even lukewarm. We were both tired from driving a long way and it was hot, so the last thing I needed was a confrontation with the staff at McDonald's, but here is what I think. When you pay for something and patiently wait for the food to show up, it should be at least close to warmed up as the kitchen was about 4 yards away from us. This could only mean the bags were just sitting there and no one put our number up on the board to collect. When we sat down, the noise of beeping from their machines was extremely aggravating as well. What kind of place was this to relax????? I can recall being in the USA and if you didn't get served within a certain time, they would give you the food for free and if the food was cold, they took the complaint seriously. They advertise as a fast food outlet, but how can it be when you have to wait and wait and wait and then the food is cold???? The system was much better in Uckfield without those terrible machines where you order your food. It give the impression of a robotic organisation that churns out food without caring about the customer. Cardboard chips, cold fast food and machines beeping all around you. Not conducive for a relaxing few minutes. I now wish we went for fish and chips and ate them in the car. At least the food would have been hot minus all the noise around us in McDonald's. Even Ronald McDonald would have left quickly.

I would like to report a guy called Harry marsh brown long fluffy hair and he’s around 18 of age recently when he was working I had came into McDonald’s and asked him for some help on the machine he then proceeded to ask for my phone number but im only 15 I told him this and he still tried I then got rlly creeped out she as he tried to approach me while I was eating

The place is disgusting, tables not cleaned and liquid on the floor. The food was aweful and the drinks we could not drink as it tasted like it was mixed with chemicals, so threw them away and they were flat. My burger was so greasy and my sons was over cooked it was chicken. Do not recommend eating there.

Great location, stopped in this evening before going to a local cinema 🎥. Restaurant tidy and clean. Food order didn't take long . Food was great. Staff friendly.

Its mcdonalds... So what you normally expect. custom order was made wrong and replavement took a while. Small play area for the kids with a climbing frame thing was good. Kept the kids busy.

One of the best I have had in some time. The French fries were lovely and hot and nice and crispy the wrap was good too.

Usually a lovely McDonald’s, clean with good food - however this time we had a poor experience. We went for dinner with 2 small children. Firstly the tables were grubby, then the fries were cold and a cucumber bag came out soggy and rotten. Quality control was v poor. Also the soap dispenser in the toilet was broken and the floors were dirty. Overall disappointing because it is usually a nice place to take the kids. Usually quite clean and the staff are normally good at wiping the tables down. Noted different staff working there so maybe that’s why it wasn’t great - really hoping it was just a bad day and not going to be the norm there!

Been here a few times and everytime the food has taken too long to come out. It’s a fast food restaurant. Shouldn’t have to be waiting 15 mins for food? Defeats the purpose. Just ordered a singular cheesy bacon flatbread before i catch the train and i’ve had to wait 15 minutes for it to come out. In the end i had to leave without collecting as otherwise i would’ve missed my train. Every single time i’ve gone here they’ve taken too long. Everytime.

Called in with my 6 year old son for lunch. After ordering I went to pay at the counter where I proceeded to wait for 20 minutes to pay while all the staff were busily walking past me like i did not even exist. The only reason the staff became aware of my presence was down to the cleaning staff letting the counter staff members know that people had been waiting for 20 minutes to pay for the food they had ordered. I then received a burger that looked like it had been thrown together in a tornado which I proceeded to assemble myself before eating.

Rude, aggressive staff, one “Crew Trainer” in particular, so it figures. Would not recommend bringing children here.

It’s not bad but tea tastes awful and food a bit hit and miss at times… Don’t like the contactless menu thing as rather just order at the till.. Did see the rag and bone man with his family outside going in though some months back..

Went to drive thru for x2 medium fries and 6 chicken mcnuggets. Waited for 20 minutes in the car park. When I finally got the food it was cold. Zero apology by the store manager ...Shocking!!

Wow..disgusting customer service..my god staff are like zombies..no smiling no hi nothing...plus they dont use gloves when preparing food..cross contamination at its peak🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ common guys thats common sense..im sure u have been trained well? Mcdonald's Maresfield bypass what a shambles ordered 2 burgers 2 fries told to park up took 15 mins to bring out was not busy not good enough

Cannot remember the lasted time I visited (drive thru) and didn't have to park up and wait 10 mins. That I can usually accept but the last two visits I've not only had to park up and wait but there have been no quarter pounders. Given that I am not 5 and wanting a happy meal nor do I want chicken (I'd have gone to KFC for that) I think it's pretty shambolic.

5 stars to young lad who picked up my wallet and kept it safe behind the counter in a safe and made sure I was who I was when picking up my wallet. He is an absolute gem, I can’t thank him enough he is a credit to the community and his family he is such a sweet lad.

If you order to collect check you have everything, 2nd time (and now last) I'll be getting food from here as last 2 have had missing items. Only notice when getting home to eat and opening up bag... not really good enough once is an accident twice is just poor service

Was in the area on business and had skipped breakfast for an early start. Fancied something around 10.30 and popped in. Used the loo before ordering. It was filthy- simply disgusting and not what you’d expect so early in the day and especially not in a food outlet. I went out to order- and the assistant whose appearance was not great referred to me as “mate”, I requested him not to- which he looked taken aback about. I ordered a sausage McMuffin and asked to speak with the duty manager as I was going to inform him about the state of the loo. He appeared looking pretty disinterested generally in what almost passed for a white shirt. I explained my observation and he muttered something about getting it sorted. The first server was in the kitchen warming his hands under the food warming lamps as was a female colleague. Clearly they had all been discussing me judging by the curious and furtive glances towards me. Another server came out and asked me if I was ready to order and again I was addressed as “mate”. Again I requested not to be called “mate”. I explained that I thought I had already ordered- he wandered off and I stood for a few more minutes. The manager in the off white shirt returned to the till followed by a colleague (team trainer on his badge) who, whilst talking to the manager began picking spots on his face. They returned to the kitchen where server 1 and the female staff member were still holding their hands under the heat lamps- above food! At this point I cut my losses and left. I hadn’t been in a McDonalds for a long time, and I doubt I will be soon if this is the standard.

Great when on the move quick a happy

Every week when we collect orders there is always at least one item missing. Either whole items missing or an egg or a sausage, always something and someone goes without. Decided today to get delivered. Order turn up 1 hour after placed order. Missing 3 items. Ring Mcdonald's, manager care free not there issue have to ring uber. Not there issue? Uber packed it? Your staff didn't pick the order right not uber..... Well 2024 be healthier as that's the last straw....

Dear management, pay attention to the work of your staff, you always have a lot of people in your kitchen, but with 3 orders on the screen, I waited 13 minutes for my order! Which included two burgers, 2 fries and water! And this is not the first time, it happens all the time! And today I couldn’t stand it anymore, when I arrived home I discovered that they had given me half a pack of potatoes! I'm sorry, of course, but it's my money! Either you don’t put cheese on the burger, or you don’t put sauce on it, and there are many such moments! Please pay attention to this

We all know why we're going to mcdonalds and what to expect. And it's was as expected. Super quick and good customer service and the breakfast was just what was needed 🤙 can't fault it.

It's not often I visit tbh, but I can't say anything negative, albeit shake machine is often down as per most locations, but for the occasional comfort food, it's done what it says on the tin.

Nice and quick for eating in, tables were clean, a few crumbs left but it's not the Ritz. Wireless charging for the phone wasn't working but I was there for the food mainly.

We had to wait 40 mins for our happy meals. We ordered seven. Once we finally received them and I did complain the manager offered us sauces and then went and his away again. We then left with our order to find two of the happy meals had the incorrect food, there were no toys and the chips we couldn't work out if they were raw or cold. Awful service

Me and my partner went to get some dinner we ordered 2 chicken mayos a double cheeseburger 1 small fries 1 apple pie 3 milkshakes and a hot chocolate well I am absolutely baffled as to who you employee the chicken mayor wernt even wrapped properly ten ton of lettuce the fries were cold the apple pie was cold the presentation of the food was outrageous will not be returning!!!!!

Absolutely rubbish!!! Been to the drive through 3 times now and they have never got my order correct and even when you realise you have the wrong order and go into ask for the right one they treat you like as if it's your fault and why are you complaining. So I would NOT recommend this restaurant of you can call it that at all the service is atrocious.

I use mcds more than I should and honestly a lot are going downhill at the moment (I travel the full UK regularly) however this one was genuinely good, the coke was fizzy, cold and ice. The burgers were hot, actually in one piece and the fries were fresh and salty !!! They didn't try and charge me for sauce either, guy at the till was helpful and friendly solid 9/10.

Typical Burger joint and usual range of food. However the staff at this particular site were friendly and welcoming. The chap covering the tables and tidying up was particularly cheerful and polite. That makes a big difference to customers

Just gone to get breakfast. Went thru the drive thru, but asked to park up again. This happens far too often! It's not even busy!! Useless.

Had the most amazing experience today at this McDonalds. The shift leader Jamie was so kind and accommodating to our needs. He absolutely made our day. So appreciative of his hard work and service today. We will be returning :)

The worst McDonald’s in the UK. Slow, rude, adolescent staff. Incompetent managers (two who think it’s good PR to stand outside having a cigarette). Cold, incorrect meals. Dirty indoors and litter strewn car park. Needs new management urgently. It’s always dead quiet inside, yet they still take 30 minutes to get your order wrong.

Orders mainly burgers and one drink via the app and checked in once I had arrived. I took the order home to find a burger missing, when I called the store he offered to remake it, and expected me to drive all the way across town for the second time in 30 mins to collect the burger and didn’t even seem very apologetic. Not the first time this is happened, wasted my time and left me no choice to collect the burger to avoid someone missing out on their dinner. We will use maresfield McDonald’s in future.

Rather run down this one, not that clean, hate having to use the stupid ordering system, really not cool at all. Food was its usual fair. Not really impressed, but needs must when time & the devil dictate.

I'm shocked this place has more than 1 star. Unfortunately the kids like a McDonald's. Have to frequent this place. It's so bad. Always, and I mean always park you up and I'll have to wait at least 10 minutes. Use the one on the maresfield bypass if you can. They asked me to park up for a coffee once. A coffee! I laughed and asked for a refund. All of a sudden the guy appears with a coffee? Anyway, go there today, order a burger, no bells, no whistles, just a burger. 7pm and they ask me to park up. It wasn't even busy. Again I laughed and asked for a refund, and again as if by magic, he reappears with a burger? The verry worst McDonald's I've ever been too! I don't wright reviews, but the 3.5 stars on here is laughable! Had to do my bit to try get a more suitable rating. If it had any other sign above the door, nobody would use it! Placed an order at the drive through, when it came, half the order wasn’t there and the chips were all half full. I have tried to contact them to get a refund and register my complaint but they don’t answer the phone and no email!

Good McDonald's. It's a drive thru and a restaurant. We came at lunch time and food was served within minutes. Great staff and well organised. Also there's a softplay area for kids and every table has wireless mobile charger built in. Great! Thx.

I ordered one grand bigmac and two sweet chilli rap. I forgot to check evrything init. And when i got home grand big mac was missing. Everything was good but this is careless.

Staff were swearing behind the counter. Kitchen floor was filthy. Waited ages for the food, even though we we were the only ones in the restaurant. Then to top it all off I slipped walking out the door because the floor was soaked.

Swear this place gets worse every time I visit. Where is the management? Sitting in the drive thru for 45 minutes and then getting parked up for a single meal is beyond a joke. Shame a McPlant seemed like a burger had been put into the bun. A drop of mayonnaise was in the lid but no sauce in the burger. Missing a lot of the ingredients this time. Shocking food but service was better.
