The best restaurants in Farnham Castle Waverley South East

We just had the best server - he was so helpful, nothing too much trouble!!!! Food was incredible and the chef went above and beyond to give me a perfect steak - thank you both X

1.50 for a game of pool on cramped wonky tables & no chalk a bit much, nice atmosphere though

First time we visited Giggling Squid in Farnham and it didn’t disappoint, the staff are excellent very attentive and friendly. Food arrived promptly and good sized portioned. Really nice an cosy with lovely decorations hanging from the ceiling.

Been going for at least 5 years on a regular basis. Joanna and her team always deliver great friendly service and food always up to their usual standards. Wine list is well priced. Always buzzing atmosphere and lovely in the summer when you can sit outside. It’s exactly what a brasserie should be. Lots of choice now in Farnham but we still visit a lot as reliable and reasonable value with great service and consistent quality.

We went to join the all you can eat pancakes and was greeted by the FOH manager, gentleman with a ponytail. What an absolute credit to his company, attentive, entertaining and puts the customer at the front of what he does. I am just sorry I didn't catch his name. The other staff were polite and efficient, all round great experience

5 out of 5! First visit, lively and friendly. Fantastic, tasty, hot fresh food. Starters, calamari, and chicken wings were delicious. Mains, kofte kebab, and pork kebab are also excellent. Buffalo fries were stunning. The two veggies with us had superfood salad and a sweet potato dish, which I was assured were really good!!! Good choice of beer and wine and delightful staff!! Cost us about £72 per couple, including drinks and gratuity, which I considered very acceptable for the evening we had! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We will definitely be going back! 👍🏽

I took my son and daughter to the restaurant where I was pleasantly surprised our waitress layla was amazing couldn't have been more helpful and interacted with the children she was very polite couldn't have asked for anything more from her will defo be going back 😁

I went here with my farther I purchased a Really nice custard donut very filling and big and tasted very nice and fresh , staff were lovey would definitely come here again

Very disappointing afternoon tea. The sandwiches were very poor, it would be better to describe them as just bread with little or no fillings! and cake selection"shop bought" style. I have been here previously and had a wonderful selection so extra disappointed as I brought 2 friends with me on my recommendation so embarrassing for me. Even more worrying is the fact that I contacted the hotel with accompanying photos and over 36 hours later have not even received a reply. The lack of customer service is disappointing and reading other reviews it seems like they just don't care. I have attached photos and include the ones from 2 years ago to show how good it used to be, so disappointing.
