5 out of 5! First visit, lively and friendly. Fantastic, tasty, hot fresh food. Starters, calamari, and chicken wings were delicious. Mains, kofte kebab, and pork kebab are also excellent. Buffalo fries were stunning. The two veggies with us had superfood salad and a sweet potato dish, which I was assured were really good!!! Good choice of beer and wine and delightful staff!! Cost us about £72 per couple, including drinks and gratuity, which I considered very acceptable for the evening we had! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We will definitely be going back! 👍🏽

The food was almost inedible. High calories the cheese fondue was served with potatoes and the lamb was dry and overcooked with the meanest amount of red peppers. The wine was poor …….the chocolate topping to the coffee was very good

I hired this the Botanist for a Family 18th Birthday Lunch for my son, they have an event space/dining area on the second floor with a beautiful stone walled balcony, that has a feeling of grandeur and that looks down onto the street below. FOOD Surprisingly good quality, fresh ideas, super tasty modern ideas. You wont regret eating here especially if you want a break from pub grub! Everything was delicious well thought though. STAFF Super impressed. Annie, who does the hiring (and it shows) is lovely, as are all the staff, there's a real sense of care and pride. They all want to do well and for our private party were the perfect blend of attentive, friendly and professional. Made us feel sooooo welcome. DRINKING Although we hired this place for a lunch, I've also been here during the night and it's super cool, smoking cocktails, funky people and loads of fun. Always a great vibe. It's hard to describe other than quite a buzz! Hard lot to like. If you come to Farnham, dont miss it. It's in the middle of everything.

Sunday 5th February 2023 was my first time to a Botanist restaurant. The decor is great and the food was certainly good but overall the experience was disappointing. It was my friend's first outing with her first baby. A Sunday lunch for 5 adults plus baby in a warm sunny spot of the restaurant seemed ideal. Unfortunately, the door was right next to our table BUT the door closer was broken. Just about everyone that came in or out left the door open and of course, it fell to us to get up and close the door every time or just have the cold wintry wind blow on us and a brand new baby. Diners at other nearby tables also kept their jackets and coats on as they were also getting cold from the air coming through the door. The heating was OFF - in the beginning of February! The restaurant has 2 doors, one facing the tables and one facing the bar. I asked if they could open the other door but was told that staff behind the bar didn't want to get cold! I asked if they would put the heating on and was told they needed to get permission but they could, at least, switch on the overdoor heater, which helped a little. I have waited a month before writing this review because I thought that perhaps the irritation of being cold, the hassle of constantly getting up to close the door, the increasing annoyance of having to do that was perhaps exaggerated. But, I remain disappointed. BTW, the Botanist in Marlow ticks all the happy 5-star boxes!

Excellent Sunday lunch with a difference. Delicious,well prepared . Excellent staff, courteous, efficient and very friendly.

I don't understand why the cheap inedible dried fruit for an expensive cocktail. Even Wetherspoons can manage to add fresh fruit to their cocktails. I browsed the reviews here and they are gathering 1 and 2 star reviews at a remarkable pace. How embarrassing...!!!!

Where to start, every time i visit the botanist in farnham i am stunned with how exquisite the staff are and the quality of not only the food but the well priced cocktails! You can go to somewhere like the lost boy and order a carton made mojito, for £13+!! But here you get a freshly made one for only £10. The staff always look like their having a great time and are so welcoming and really seem to care. It is a Shame they’ve stopped live music on a Friday, definitely had a better atmosphere with the live music but generally a great place to go, Don’t miss this place out!

Came in to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. Was greeted by a lovely lady on the door. When we sat down service was quick and always with a smile!! Food was good but cocktails Stole the show for the evening

Superb Food but portions on Sunday Lunch Menu have reduced so much. Disappointed as produce and presentation so good.

Popped in for lunch yesterday. They were out of the options I wanted but the server was extremely helpful in helping me choose something else! (I had their Nduja Chicken Burger, Yum!) Excellent choice of beers on tap and in cans, will definitely be returning with my friends soon!

Good points: I had the vegan burger, which was tasty. Negatives: (where to begin!) -We were given a "specials" cocktail menu, so I ordered a drink from there. We waiting ages for our drinks to arrive and when they did, mine was missing. The key ingredient was candy floss and they said they didn't have any. So I either had to have the cocktail without it, or wait for them to run out to the shops to buy some. Laughable. Fancy putting a specials cocktail menu on the table but not having the main components, bearing in mind we were dining at lunchtime not the end of the night! -We were left to decide on food for half an hour before someone came to take our order, which is when they decided to tell us that they didn't have certain dishes. Of course one of them being something I had wanted. Why let us sit there for half an hour before telling us what you didn't have. (Side note: there was only our table and one other table in there) -My wife had to get up and go to the bar to look for someone to ask for more drinks because no-one came to our table for ages and no staff around - no other tables even there at this point. -My brother had the steak and it was full of fat. He asked it to be cooked med/rare, it came out well done, tough as old boots. My Dad had the chicken burger which was honestly like something out of Iceland supermarket. -After our plates were taken and we confirmed no dessert menu was needed, we were left waiting again for ages. No one came over to ask if we wanted any drinks or if we'd like the bill. We looked around and saw the staff members all sat round a table together. My brother had to get up walking round the place to go and ask them to print our bill. Safe to say, I will never return here again and I will tell everyone to avoid it at all costs.

Love the 2 4 1 offer on kebabs, great value for money, service as always is fast, friendly and professional, the staff genuinely seem like they want to me there. One if my favourite spots to have a really relaxed dinner with good service, food a bit pricey but drinks are way below average for Farnham

Friendly staff and quick service. Food was good we all had the kebabs, added bonus that they were 2 for 1! A good selection of Cocktails on their menu and bar staff were happy to make classics as well.

The manager on duty on the 7 th of February ( refused to give her name when asked ) refused to serve an Irish coffee at 10 .15 pm . Because she had switched their coffee machine off at 10 .15 pm .

We went in for dinner Thursday night for our anniversary. We received a glass of prosecco each on arrival and told they were on the house, we weren't expecting anything so that was lovely. Food was delicious, we had the houmous and chicken wings to start followed by the chicken and bacon salad and the vegan pie, highly recommend! Was nice to sit by a real fire whilst we ate, felt very christmas y and all the staff were so nice definitely be back again.

I’ll be blunt and straight to the point: expensive and small portions!!!Mulled wine diluted so much you taste juice and lemon and you are charged like crazy price !Asked for halloumi that costs £12 and received 6 slices of it with nothing else Any way , this is not the place I will visit again

We booked for a birthday visit (myself and my brother), as a table of 5. On the booking we mentioned it was a birthday visit and later found out a close family friend had also phoned and spoken to a team member on the phone, asking if he could buy a bottle of presence for the table and drop a cake down. The team member advised this wouldn’t be possible. We sat upstairs, in the corner and immediately noticed an awful smell. The best way to describe this is a festival toilet, it was hideous.The starters and mains came out relatively quickly, we then ordered dessert (only two desserts) and waited AN HOUR! After my husband asked the waitress, she apologised and then gave us our bill. There was no explanation what had happened, I can only assume she forgot to put it through and was embarrassed. Rather than asking us again for our two dessert order, she avoided any apologies. No happy birthday was said, yet the waitress asked my husband who’s birthday it was!? A simple happy birthday would have gone a long way, we didn’t expect any special treatment but had obviously chosen this restaurant for a reason.Overall, the food was good but the service was really disappointing. What could have been a special birthday meal didn’t meet up to standards due to the forgotten desserts, lack of explanation/ apology and a lack of attention to detail. I would happily speak to a manager in more detail about this issue.Don’t waste your time or money, there are plenty of other unique restaurants to visit!!

Booked a table for their Oktoberfest stating we wanted beer and bratwurst. A week later we arrived for our Booking to find staff not dressed in advertised attire and no bratwurst or pretzels as sold out days before. Would have been nice to be told when they phoned on the day to check arrival that what we had booked for was unavailable. Staff unfriendly and won't be returning as a new customer

Even with being closed for so long the venue is very run dowm and appears no one really cares about it enough to keep it clean. Thought was expensive for what it is.

Expected a really tasty Gin (grapefruit & cinnamon)- tasted just like Gordon's with standard tonic!! Large double with Fever tree tonic £9.95 or have a flavoured Fever tree for extra 50p. I opted for normal which was what I got...... then got charged extra 50p on the bill along with £1.90 service charge!!! SERIOUSLY????? would have quite happily gone to the bar but in the current climate not allowed....... bit annoyed at having to pay for the table service!!! Total rip-off!!

Loved the decor and staff were really welcoming and attentive. Great atmosphere, and relaxed. The food was brilliant, kebab so tasty with chunky chips. Could have eaten it again. We shared garlic mushrooms and hummus as a starter, great portions and presented in troughs, yummy. Loved the food, place and staff. Drinks a bit pricey but food very reasonable so balances out.

Went with my wife for a late lunch. Ordered from the set menu which had enough choices and was really affordable (two courses for £12.95, could add a third for £3). Both courses were cooked well and tasted well, presentation of the food was good as well. Add the attentive staff and it was a good experience, would recommend!

Visited for dinner on Valentine’s Day. Our table was not ready at the time booked and we were told to buy a drink at the bar whilst waiting. When we got to the table we waited a long time before our order was taken. The food was very good but there was a long wait between every course - around 30 minutes. The staff were trying to hurry other customers around us as they had further bookings but if the service had been faster they would not have needed to do this. Also a surcharge for items - such as chunky chips - not mentioned on the set menu. 12.5% mandatory service charge was also not mentioned anywhere on the set menu. Would not hurry back.

First time visiting this place. Saturday night very busy, from the moment we walked in staff were quick and showed us to the table upstairs.Great choice of drinks and the menu is well put together.Would recommend the kebabs they look great on the skewers.Drinks menu has lots of craft beers and cocktails to try, and presented in funky glasses with added surprises depending on which one you go for.Overall id recommend this place for dinner or just to pop in and have a drink.We had no problem with the service like other comments, in fact they were quicker then most places.

We were a party of 8 for a special birthday. Unfortunately the meal wasn't special.Starters are good and generous, and the scotch eggs are excellent, however the Main course offerings were poor. Two meals had to be sent back as they were lukewarm, and when they returned they had simply put the two whole plates into a microwave. Although they knocked them off the bill it was very disappointing. They were the Pies and although the descriptions are mouthwatering, they are very small and not great. Also, any restaurant out to make an impression would make some sort of gesture knowing its a birthday celebration, even if only a sparkling dessert. They offered no recognition.Lots to improve here, and certainly seems to have lost the magic of its first year.

Came for dinner on Friday night to celebrate 3 friends 50th birthdays. Had an excellent meal with great service. Thank you for the bottle of Prosecco, it was a lovely surprise and very thoughtful.

The service was really amazing as usual, we have been a few times and everyone is so welcoming and lovely. Chelsea served us and she was so efficient and attentive. She made sure our meal was really special! Thank you!

Came for a birthday celebration on New Year’s Day, had great expectations from the website. But we were terribly disappointed! Waited 2 hours for our main meal, several of us had the hanging kebabs which were over cooked, cold, dry and burnt! Chips were also cold! It ruined the birthday celebration and we left feeling really upset and annoyed! Staff tried to apologise but overall a very poor experience. First visit but won’t be going back!!

I was greeted by Steve, the General Manager who was immediately welcoming, with a big smile, whilst he showed my elderly Mum and I to a quiet corner table upstairs as I had asked.

This is one of the best places to eat in Farnham! The bar downstairs is buzzing whilst restaurant upstairs has a friendly and relaxed vibe. Perfect place for a date night and highly recommend their famous Hanging Kebabs! Excellent customer service - We’ll be back.

We visited for dinner and the Christmas quiz night. It was highly attended so the quiz was upstairs and downstairs in the restaurant which was good as we could eat & quiz at the same time.

Popped in for lunch. Not been to a Botanist restaurant before. Lucked out ! Love the decor chilled Musak and overall vibe. Customer service attentive and not overbearing. Food very good, nice twist to some old favs and some innovation. Glad I popped in.

We liked the atmosphere, a lot of effort had gone into decorating this place. Probably one of the best kids menus with excellent presentation (ketchup served in a small wheelbarrow..). Gin and beer selection is very good, amazing cocktails. Helpful staff. We will be back!

The venue is small and has an upstairs eating area. We had a table for 20:30 but didn’t sit down until gone 9 as other people still refusing to leave. The food was expensive for what it was, soup in a mug and a small one at that. Tasted ok but would have liked more bread with it. Very noisy inside, had to shout at each other!!

A splendid meal, both starters and mains were delicious and a fine selection of drinks, nice atmosphere and excellent staff.

Mixed reviews here...venue pretty much empty so lacked any atmosphere. we tired to order several starters off the menu but were told they were sold out despite us being the first lunch order of the day.

Came from Basingstoke with my girlfriend, had a lovely evening last night as we'd heard good things from friends. Our food was warming and very tasty. It was quiet on a Sunday night but the waitress was lovely and we will definitely be returning. Drinks were also just as good.

Went here just now. Had to wait 60 minutes for our mains to get out because the waitress did not check we had mains as we paid upfront. I was about to suggest if we could hire a tent in the restaurant to wait for our mains. Morale of the story, dont pay upfront!!As your orders wont get checked by the waitress.

Was offered a third off food so thought it would be an opportunity to re-visit the Botanist. The food was okay. Had the duck skewer and my friend had the halloumi - which she found greasy and didn’t finish. The duck was fine but not a lot of it. Main niggle is that we did not get a third off of our food, even after querying the bill. Was not worth going for - it’s expensive for what you get.

Unusual place, lots of things to look at in there. Only a few tables downstairs, the rest on another floor. Lovely food, my husband loved the steak and ale pie. Fab cocktail list. Brilliant staff

Me and my friend whose vegan came here for a meal and she said it was a lovely place to eat. We ate upstairs which was lovely and cosy and it wasn’t expensive!

Came here with a large family group. The service was excellent and they did a great job of getting lots of dishes out to the right people without mistakes. The food was disappointing. I had slow-roast pork belly which was actually pork shoulder and not slow roast. It was dry and the fat hadn’t been rendered. The Yorkshire pudding had a pool of oil in the bottom. The carrots were raw. It was just underwhelming.

Had a lovely meal this evening with my family. Warm atmosphere and wonderful new food. Garlic bread was delicious, it's a whole loaf! Our waiters, Anna and Andy, were lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be returning!!

I visited with friends on a Friday night. Walking in I was impressed with the atmosphere. The decor is unique and interesting and it was busy and clearly popular. The cocktails were impressive and tasty. What let the experience down was the food. We opted for the hanging kebabs which are currently on offer Monday- Friday. My lamb kofta one was still quite pink which is ok but that made it very cold. Other than chips and a marinade,the kebab came with nothing else. It made for a very plain,disappointing meal. I think if I went again I'd stick to drinks and eat else where.

You made our special night more special. Delicious small plates - we were very well fed- particularly enjoyed the pork belly bites and crispy gnocchi.

Amazing drinks and very nice service. Do not eat in here for 2very simple reasons: 1- your food will arrive after you've starved to death! 2- food is most likely microwave and not using the same ingredients as per menu description...

This place is amazing & the restaurant is full of fascinating items! The decor is very quirky! The food is very good & the staff are very friendly. There is a massive choice of drinks & they seemed very welcoming to families with kids which is good! It is also wheel chair friendly as there was a lady eating in the restaurant who was in a wheel chair. The toilets are down stairs & they have a separate disabled toilet that is also on the ground floor. We were very lucky to get a table & I would advise you to book before you go.

Had a fantastic time in Farnham making cocktails - coached by the wonderful Josh. I’d thoroughly recommend this experience and this particular Botanist. Great fun, very smoothly run and delicious food and drink. Great value for money and every single member of staff was warm, welcoming and professional. Thank you so much for a fab afternoon.

We stopped in for a late lunch and was blown away by the service and the food! We asked a million and one questions about the menu and asked if we could change a couple of things around. No ask was too much, just a yes and sure no problem. The chicken Kabab did not disappoint! This would be a regular lunch stop if we lived in Farnham. Thank you. Helen

Came here for lunch, we both had the lamb skewer, great novelty idea and quite tasty, but barely any fries with it. Nice cocktail I had the Botanist, sticky toffee pudding tasty but not piping hot. All in all a nice place to go but wouldn’t rush to go back

First time for my daughter,, and she loved it, my husband and i like it a lot but it was a new experience for her so was glad she enjoyed it as much as us. He food is good and very tasty.

Visited for a family roast. Was very nice and good value. We ate upstairs which was a great atmosphere. Also there was a live singer downstairs who was very talented and great background music. Also negative was that two of our party out of 8 had to wait 10 mins for their meals so it was frustrated that we couldn’t all eat at the same time.

The Botanists’ gin mixes are everything. Smoking teapots, flowerpots, strawberry watering cans, all kinds of gin cocktails, fresh herbs, excellent gins.

The botanist does some amazing cocktails, very quirky bar, good selection of drinks and just generally and great place to meet with friends and family.

I went to the Botanist for an evening meaal with my wife on 6/9/18. I ordered the sausages to share as a starter, we received 7 tiny little sausages, probably smaller than you might expect as a cocktail sausage. For the mail course I ordered a cheese burger, the burger came with a roll, and chops on the side but no salad. The burgers (there were two) were absolutely tiny and probably never weighted 3oz each, There was plenty of cheese but after a starter and a main I was still very hungry. The only dish on the main menu was fish and chips, but they had run out at 18:00 yet you could not book a table before 18:00. For desert I ordered a sticky toffee pudding, mistakingly thinking that you can't get that wrong, Oh was I wrong, it was a tiny little thing obviously microwaved in a domed container and very, very over cooked. It was almost rock hard, it took two hands to get through it and there wasn't any sticky toffee, just a burn't crust on the bottom of the plate. My wife had an ice cream which was a far better choice. Over all the meal was very disappointing and cost £55 which a compulsory service charge. I would not recommend this establishment and have since learned from my friends that they would not recommend it either. Only wish I had known this before I went.

nice weather to be sitting on terrace, seemed to have a manager serving but she was lovely. great food wasn't left waiting long either, will definitely be back to try some cocktails.

We stopped off for a quick drink. We decided to get some nibbles and ordered about four little tapas plates. The food was good but the bill was £45 just for 4 little dishes, very expensive and not worth the money

The food quality was really good,but I need to wait about 25 minutes get the tools and nobody give me them so I need to go downstairs and pick them by myself, and Waitrose said it's upstairs, and then I have to eat cold food.

Friendly atmosphere. Chef/waiter recommended special of the day, sea bass with roasted vegetables which turned out to be excellent. Very tasty and good value for money. Nobody hurried us, lovely leisurely meal. Thank you.

We have been to a number of 'The Botanists' including this one previously so know the restaurants well. Booked a table just after 8pm, upon arrival it was empty downstairs where the bar is situated - was told by the barman that the restaurant is upstairs (we've previously sat downstairs) walked us upstairs sat us as a table with menus where we sat for 15 minutes without being asked for a drink or even acknowledged...?! Menu has noticeably been reduced and there was no specials as there always used to be. We got up and left and headed up the road to The Giggling Squid instead. They probably hadn't even realised we had left. Bad service, small menu, lack of atmosphere, shall not bother returning. I'd be surprised if this chain exists in 18 months. Surprising that the front of the restaurant that has huge windows was kept empty therefore implying to the public is was dead as dodo but they seat you upstairs for dinner, surely you'd want to showcase the bar and create some atmosphere to passing customers to draw them in..? Odd.... shame it used to be great now sadly its lost its mojo.

Came here for lunch with my two adult children who in typical Millenial style have dietary requirements - one is a dedicated vegan and the other won't touch gluten (insert eyeroll here). Being made of sterner stuff, myself and my wife merely require the food to be hot and tasty which are certainly attributes of the food at the Botanist Farnham, I would also add delicious! I had the halloumi hanging kebab with sweet chilli chips and my wife had the lamb kofta and for the first time in quite some time my children were also able to enjoy a relatively wide selection of items also! There's not a seperate menu, this isn't London, but the debonair waiter Toby pointed out what they could and couldn't have in a knowledgeable manner. For the vegan a beetroot burger with vegan truffle mayonnaise (who ever heard of such a thing) and for the gluten free a delicious halloumi salad. My wife and I, entrenched in matrimony to the extent we no longer care about our waistlines, had a baked cookie dough for desert! My compliments to the chef! For drinks we stuck to glasses of the house red and beers from the tap (of which there is a decent selection) but I rather think we missed a trick in not ordering cocktails. All around us the waiters were delivering a variety of drinks in interesting looking receptacles, some of which were pouring with smoke like enthusiastic steam trains! The staff were all friendly, polite and efficient - it was lovely to see young folk working hard rather than lounging around in parks listening to expletitive laden rap music on oversized mobile phones! We will definitely return!

Popped in for lunch today with my fiancée. The wine was excellent (Californian Pinot) and they have a very extensive drinks menu which looks excellent. However, the food was terrible! It looked very appetising but sadly very cold! The hanging kebab system looks fab, if only it was hot! The restaurant did not charge me for the cold items, but I left still feeling hungry and it had taken an hour and a half to serve cold food! Not impressed and will not be returning. ☹️

Took the girlfriend here for a lovely dinner as we have always been huge fans of the botanist since our first visit. This visit didn’t disappoint with great food yet again and fantastic service from our waiter Toby who managed to get my girlfriend the drink she wanted even though it wasn’t on the drinks menu. We look forward to coming again and enjoying yet another dinner!

Having been to the Botanist a year ago and being very impressed, I was excited to be going back. Sadly I was very disappointed. Whilst the food we ordered was all very nice, the menu was significantly reduced and many of the items previously available for the deli board were no longer available and choices were very limited. Also I would have to say this restaurant is not value for money. 4 or 5 small peices of meat on a skewer and a small bowl of fries for £12.95 is not value for money. I will not be in a hurry to return.

Popped in here with colleagues for an after dinner drink. Good selection of Gins - some i had not tried before. Service OK, drinks moderately priced. Will be visiting again for food i am sure.

We enjoyed a really great meal here this evening. We hadn’t booked as just staying round the corner for one night but they found us a table. The food was excellent and the staff so friendly and helpful. We shared a Camembert to start, my husband had the lamb kofta hanging kebab and I had a deli board. Service was fast too!

Second visit and once again didn’t disappoint.

You can probably tell how popular this place is by the presence of the bouncer in small Farnham at dinner time. We stopped in for drinks, and the menu is extraordinarily creative. I had the rhubarb and sage spritz which came with a spring of sage clipped to the glass with the tiniest clothespin I’ve ever seen.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Wanted somewhere different and special for my friend's 40th and The Botanist did not disappoint. Incredible interiors, fixtures and fittings and a chilled, fun atmosphere to enjoy a dinner. Leah couldn't have been more helpful with recommendations and was attentive to us. Food was delish and cocktails and drinks were enjoyed! So reasonable too! We'll definitely be back...hopefully on a Monday for quiz night!

My wife and I had been to the Botanist before so we knew we would have a lovely meal. It was relatively early on Saturday evening and the place was really buzzing but we were seen to right away, given a nice quiet table and made to feel very welcome. Our meals were delicious - in my case fish and (beautifully spicy) chips - and we were very well looked after by our waiter, Johnny. Many thanks to him, and to all the staff at the Botanist who were very helpful and friendly.

Okay I’ve been in England for 18 years and I just had the best fish and chips!!! Great drinks menu and a brill t beer selection.

I visited The Botanist for a late lunch with friends, we were seated upstairs on the terrace as the weather was lovely. We had cocktails which were gorgeous and a good selection on the menu and the food was delicious, two of the party had cheeseburgers with seasoned chips and two had the hanging kebab, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices. It’s a lovely setting, relaxed atmosphere with attentive staff, I would highly recommend a visit.

Just arrived from Malaysia ! Food was amazing. Pork belly kebab served very creatively. Delicious mozzarella dish and deep fried gnocchi. IPA on draught. What a great start to our holiday. Service from Jonny was exceptional. Very attentive, enthusiastic and friendly. Thanks.

After reading both negative and positive reviews of The Botanist, Farnham from people with dietary preferences and as a vegan myself, I was initially sceptical about how well they'd 'do' special diets...

Firstly where they make up their prices I do not know, I love a good cocktail and more than happy to pay the price for a good one, but!!! the staff need a huge amount of training, hardly anyone knew anything I asked. Went for a classic mojito to test the water before trying their overpriced conncotions of their own, well it had more soda a sugar in than anything else with floating bits of practically black mint inside, my friend had a negroni (minus the gin!? apparently that's not how they make it at the Botantist well £10 for a cocktail with only two ingredients and missing the main part... no thanks! My friends had ordered a platter of food unfortunately it doesn't get any better there, mac and cheese stuck into the mini pot solidified it was so overcooked the chorizo was nice but extremely small portion and edamame had been fried?! Not sure what they were thinking there! It had a few people in but any potential vibe was killed by everything else, we left shortly after to the pub down the road!

Just enjoyed the hanging skewer kebabs at The Botanist Farnham. Really great food, a decent gf ipa and the hardest working team I've ever seen in a restaurant! Special thanks to Johnny and Chelsea for fast friendly service. Enjoy.

Visited after a recommendation lovely atmosphere. The menu is not extensive but very lovely, we picked the hanging kebab and burger and were not disappointed, we had cocktails and they were amazing. The staff were very attentive and although the dessert menu was limited it was lovely, ice cream was beautiful. We will definitely pay another visit.

We went for Sunday lunch and all was not as I would have liked. We did turn up 10 mins before our booked time but we were told by the barman that we could stand and wait. I told the young man that my mother used a walking stick and could not stand waiting. He pointed to the high bar stools and said she could sit there. My mother is nearly 90 and just under 5’ high. The bar stool was a joke as she had no chance of getting up there. Luckily the waiter came over and took us to the table before it was cleared so that my mother could sit down. The starter was great but the lunch was not what we expected at all. We were told that there was no broccoli and that the quantity of the other vegetables would be increased to compensate. The vegetables on the plate was a small spoon of red cabbage, 3 tiny new potatoes roasted and 4 thin strips of a small carrot. Considering that we are told to eat 5 portions of fruit and veg each day I would have expected more than just the tiny portions that did not even count as 1 of the 5!

Furnished in Shabby Chic style but chairs grubby and and unheigenic.Coffee excellent and affordable but £5:50 for a 330 c! Bottle of beer and £6:50 for a glass of wine rather outside my price range.Can't speak for food as nothing eaten.

Had a great night for a friends birthday. The waiter was fantastic, the decor and atmosphere was lovely, really chic and rustic.

I came on Sunday for a Disney quiz night with my family. Quiz was excellent and I'm so glad they chose to The Botanist as the location. The cocktails were outstanding!

It was heaving on a Saturday night - packed with young people both eating and drinking cocktails. The food was delicious - well-cooked lamb and chicken. Our waiter was first-rate. Best to book early!

We popped in for lunch as we were in the area. We had a very pleasant meal and the staff were lovely.

We have been here several times in the past and it was very good.

Came in with friends for a birthday, got served by Johnny and Harry who were both lovely! We had the best visit and service!

Five of us had Sunday lunch here on the 5th of May. Four had a roast; one had the hanging chicken kebab: this was very good.

Came in this evening for some cocktails, very friendly bartender and manager. Cocktails were soooo good

What a wonderful venue with stylish decor, tasty food, inspiring drinks, great service and live music.

Came here with my girlfriend just for a drink, was greeted with a smile by a manager. I ordered The Botanist which is easy drinking, really nice made by Keishon. Will definitely come back.

A really high energy atmosphere and some fabulous cocktails make with all the drama of the mixologist team. Food was very average though and had to eat downstairs where all the noise was therefore not conducive to a relaxed birthday dinner.
