Lovely woodland setting with very pleasant outside seating. But the cafe facilities were rather poor. Two "hot" sausage rolls were taken from a cold display case and were barely warm. a "cream tea" came in an assortment of pre-packaged plastic containers. This plus a couple of coffees came to over £20. Along with a disappointment with the arboretum itself, this did not make for a good day. We are not quite sure why the NT is even managing Winkworth, let alone currently expensively now expanding its facilities.

We visited Winkworth Arboretum in the last weekend of October. The Arbor Tea Room is situated at the entry to the arboretum. There was a board right at the entry stating that they were operating with a restricted menu due to logistical difficulties. After our time in the park, we joined a queue for some hot drinks. It took a long time for us to reach the till just to pick up a small piece of cake (yummy though) and cups of hot chocolate. There was hardly anything much on offer. There is a huge outdoor seating area. It was just our luck that they were operating on a wafer thin menu on the day 🤷♀️

Beautiful walk, friendly and helpful staff and a really tasty latte! We went off the beaten track and wound up struggling up a hill but that was our own fault!

Fairly standard NT tearoom with the usual decent fare, although currently limited due to the restrictions. Ice cream was fantastic.

My wife spotted a water chime in the shop during the summer and had mentioned it several times since, so I came back to buy it for her as a gift. Unfortunately it was sold out, however Jane and Sandra pulled out all the stops to locate it at another National Trust location and I’m pleased to say that I was able to get it in time! Absolutely first class service - thank you so much!

The cafe also houses a small display of National Trust items including the delicious Salted Caramel Spread (Expensive but worth it as a treat) The cafe itself had the normal goods on sale such as Tea and Coffee, soft drinks and snacks. There is seating outside.

Plus sandwiches, scone and cream. Perhaps not the most posh place, but clean, excellent service and just what anybody would need after exploring the Arboretum. Just enjoy the trees and a refreshing brew!

Some people navugate via Pubs, we do it via National Trust tea rooms. Even this time of year it is very leasant sitting outdoors with a nice hot cup of tea, the tables have a large umberella over them and the trees make a lovely setting. As with quite a few N.Trust properties this tea room can be accessed without paying for entry to the property. So if you are in the area and need a cup of tea (and a piece of cake), this is a good place to stop. One word of caution though the toilets are the rong side of the entry kiosk.

Visited with 11 year old, 72 year old and dog. Lovely walk around arboretum, then stopped for cake and tea around 3pm Rather like munching on old cardboard sadly, think it had maybe been there all day, which was a shame as a huge slice. Good selection of tea and polite service.

You do not need to be a NT member (or pay an entrance fee) to visit he Arbor Tea Room at Winkworth Arboretum, but you may need to be if your wish to use the toilets as they seem to be after the pay point! We had some very nice refreshments whilst sat outside on a sunny day. For children there is a wigwam to play in.

This is a small National Trust tea room, conveniently situated by the car park and outside the entrance to Winkworth Arboretum. It doesn't have a huge range of things but it's perfect for a stop before or after a walk round the Arboretum. The scones were very good!

Cakes for everybody, mini wraps for toddlers. Sandwiches etc for adults. Not a wide variety but all the basics are there. Staff friendly and welcoming and the place is kept very clean.

We stopped for tea and coffee. Luckily for us, fresh scones were put on display at 3 pm so we were lucky.

Usual fare, 'home made' cakes and scones, sandwiches and the like. Can sit inside or outside. Nothing really to add.

We called in here at the end of our visit on a cold and rainy January day. The coffee didn't disappoint, but the lack of covered seating outside did. Inside there are about 6 small tables, but outside, where there are loads of seats, there is no cover. If there was move covered area outside, I would rate it 5 star. I think this place would be overflowing in summer, but was quiet when we visited. The staff were wonderfully kind and polite. Just as virtually every NT staff member I have met has been. What an organisation to have such people!!!

After a walk round the Arboretum what better way of finishing off but a nice cup of coffee and cake. The Arbor Cafe has a selection of drinks, cakes, scones etc and although a little on the pricey side, the money goes back to the National Trust so not too bad. Had coffee and walnut cake which was huge and a struggle to get through although i did manage. You also do not have to go into the Arboretum to use the cafe. Friendly service, plenty of seating inside and out. Quality food although a little pricey.

Hired half of the venue for my 60th Birthday party with about 28 friends attending. Wendy was the perfect hostess. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Everyone commented on what a lovely venue it is.

5 out of 5! First visit, lively and friendly. Fantastic, tasty, hot fresh food. Starters, calamari, and chicken wings were delicious. Mains, kofte kebab, and pork kebab are also excellent. Buffalo fries were stunning. The two veggies with us had superfood salad and a sweet potato dish, which I was assured were really good!!! Good choice of beer and wine and delightful staff!! Cost us about £72 per couple, including drinks and gratuity, which I considered very acceptable for the evening we had! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We will definitely be going back! 👍🏽

I love the elevated position above the shops and open air street level seating as well, with pleasant modern decor with lots of organics dotted about. Plenty of choices for food but we only needed the cake selection, including gluten free. I am staying in the area and have met friends several times in this place in one week as I liked it. We had cakes, I found them very nice but ultra sweet. Coffee was lovely and hot! average prices. Staff were excellent, helpful and smiley, it makes such a different to a visit! I thoroughly recommend.

I ordered portion of chips there was jus few chips in a small bowl yet it cost £4.75. That’s ridiculous. We use to eat here often but now we have to go somewhere instead of supporting our local pub because of price and portion sizes.
