Good Service, friendly, attentive staff and great food. We went for the sharing plater and custard pie for pudding and we were not disappointed. The dog would have been made welcome, so will be going back there again as soon as we have funds available.

The food here is simply excellent. The owners and staff extremely attentive and friendly. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Outstanding.

It was very nice to be greeted upon arrival. we chose where we wanted to sit. Our waitress Grace was very pleasant and took our order, read it back to us to make sure it was correct. The food arrived in quick progression all hot and very tasty. Grace was kind enough to get our bits wrapped up that we could not finish. Grace was very professional and will be a great asset to you. Watch out big portions.

I went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and had a very nice time. The drinks were well-made and served promptly, and the staff were patient and friendly. The atmosphere was great as well, with nice decorations & an awesome patio.

We visited Yiayias for my daughters birthday. The staff were amazing and made her feel so special and the food is out of this world. We will definitely be making regular visits. Thanks Yiayias!

Booked a table in their wonderful garden on a warm day despite being cloudy. Terrific atmosphere with very helpful and lovely staff. Great food and not your usual pub grub. A wide variety of sides and fabulous mains. 100% I’ll be there more!

This was our 4th visit for food due to COVID restrictions, however, Yia’s Yia’s @The Fox didn’t disappoint. We had both the fish & meat platter and it was delicious!! Swordfish , chicken kebabs, baked lamb shank and mini mussaka with a mixture of salad rice and pitta!! Authentic Greek cuisine at very affordable prices. The outside marquee had socially distanced tables heating and it was very busy. Paul and his team work really to look after their customers and it has paid dividends....we will be back next weekend!! Thankyou Yia’s Yia’s!!!

Such a great and amazing place to meet and socialise with friends, Paul is a great host and always makes the effort to speak to his guests, felt very welcome and safe in regards to Covid restrictions

The first thing I would like to say about the restaurant is how friendly and attentive the staff were, this is the restaurant's greatest asset. Having seen the food reviews for this restaurant I was disappointed. The moussaka and starters were bland the lamb dishes decent. The starters arrived at the same time as the mains and some of the food had to be returned as it was cold.The place had a lively atmosphere, however we were not made aware that smoking was permitted in the area we were eating - otherwise we would have asked to be in a non-smoking section.

Absolutely amazing service, staff were all So friendly and the food was beautiful, such a lovley place to go too.

I visited with my 3 children on a Sunday lunchtime and was overwhelmed with the warm welcome we received. Every member of staff we came into contact with was delightful. We were seated outside on the terrace and my youngest daughter enjoyed playing in the adventure zone play area. The food was great, it’s usually impossible to find a restaurant that they all agree on but they all asked when we could come back again. Will definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality, we were treated like royalty, would have given 6 stars if that was possible.

Had a great family meal today. The food was fantastic, service was brilliant and the outdoor area was lovely. Came here for our first meal and drinks out after lockdown. It was busy but the staff made sure our table was cleared and cleaned before we sat down. Credit to the one member of staff (I think his name was Louie) who bought are food over who was a delight. The food and service was excellent, will definitely be visiting again.

We had booked a table in advance for our first dinner out since lockdown lifted. We were sat at a table that hadn’t been cleared or cleaned..covered in dirty plates & food from the previous diners. Waited 20mins for them to clear & then finally walked out as this was unhygienic & shambolic. Went to the Spotted Cow instead which was brilliantly organised!

Had a great meal from here for the first time and it definitely won’t be our last. Food was absolutely delicious and tasted just like it had been served from a taverna on the beach. Loved it!

Absolutely love the food from Yiayias and it's kept us going through lockdown! The kefta kebab and taramasalata are to die for, and the chicken kebabs are a hit with the kids. Oh, and the best chips anywhere!

This, firstly is a restaurant which I assume has adapted for takeaways during the pandemic. I haven’t yet eaten in the restaurant but can’t wait to do so!Wow what can I say about the food. It’s delicious, & me and my partner now try to have something from them every other week.We have now had many takeaways from this restaurant & will continue too. The man taking the orders on the phone is always a pleasure to talk to, & food is delivered quick.I can’t wait until I can actually eat in the restaurant.Thank you guys

We enjoyed a lovely Christmas Eve lunch in this very well Covid-organised restaurant. We were served by the delightful Bryony who was friendly, attentive and efficient. The delicious souvlakis took us back to many happy visits to Greece over the past 50 years. The only thing we missed was a bottle of retsina to was it down. We will be back for takeaways during lockdown and look forward to the restaurant re-opening in the near future.

Louis was a great host for the evening and we had a great time and was a good laugh. Randel was brilliant too

We had a bit of trouble using the app, HOPT, to order our meal, so we phoned The Fox directly. They were extremely friendly and helpful, offering to personally drive up our meal for delivery within 30 minutes of ordering. The YiaYias food was excellent as always. Thank you!

We came back after such a wonderful experience before lockdown. We were delighted when Lea was our waitress again, and she provided 10/10 service. We were so glad that they’ve also added more to the menu and we tried the meat platter. It was divine!!

I was in last Friday and had such a lovely warm welcome from paul the owner as always! The food was beautiful! social distancing measures were in place and respected, I felt very safe!

The food was really good and the service was quick, our waitress was Lea and she was attentive and really friendly .

The fox is our local pub, and disappoint it never does. The Greek bbq food is amazing and our waitress lea was the best - quick to refill our empty beers and providing generally excellent service. Highly recommend and will be back!

Welcomed by Bryony and quickly seated. Ordered both starters and kebab/flatbreads but were pretty much stuffed after the starters. The taramousalata is divine and the lamb in my flatbread was grilled to perfection. Bryony was super friendly and helpful, with suggestions.

We contacted YiaYias to see if they were doing take away on a Monday during lockdown. They were not, but opened just for us. Great service, great food. Many thanks to James and Nikos.

Had a lovely early evening meal. Lamb to die for! Home made traditional Greek puddings very very good. A tad pricey which means only would visit once in a while. Service was average. Could hear all the staff gossiping, distracting whilst eating.

Came with friends a few weeks ago and has Lea as a waitress! She was so attentive as we didn’t understand the menu fully so she explained everything for us. We had a selection of dips and the chicken wrap which was amazing! Will definitely be coming back after lockdown :)

We had a group of 5 people for an evening meal. Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. We weren’t rushed but equally well looked after. One of the guests required gluten free food and this was very well catered for. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back!

I came to Yiayia’s at the Fox about a week ago with my husband and children and we had the best evening. The food was gorgeous and Lea (our waitress) was so so lovely and welcoming. She explained the menu to us and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing short of amazing. The whole place has a very warm and cosy feel to it and the food is hearty and delicious. We will be coming back again!!!

The food was amazing. I struggle to find really good tzatziki which is one of my absolute favourites but Yiayia's nailed it. A great atmosphere combined with delicious, authentic food. Service was excellent courtesy of Laura, I can't wait to go back.

Me and my husband came in for drinks earlier this week. It wasn’t too busy but had a nice atmosphere. We ordered some food- which was lovely! We recommend the trio of cheese parcels they were the highlight of our meal. Our waitress, Mia, was very accommodating and chatty. The manager seemed lovely as well. We will definitely be back.

Never been here before but thought I’d try it out as I’d heard good things- all true! We were greeted and served by a lovely lady called mia, she was very attentive and guided us on what to eat. Food was splendid and with the service we will definitely be coming back again.

We have loved this place for many years and used the take-away service during lockdown. However, having been a few times since lockdown, it has sadly gone downhill. There were lots of flies in the conservatory and the food was mediocre compared to the food we ate before. The waiting staff seemed disinterested and forgot half our orders. We went on a weekday night when we were meant to get 25% off but only got 10% taken off despite eating £50 worth of food (excluding drinks). When we asked the waitress why we didn’t have 25% taken off, she was incapable of answering.We won’t be going here again. Shame as it used to be a favourite.

A series of smallish rooms linked and very bustling and busy when we visited on Wednesday night in mid-October.Two dedicated disabled car parking spaces by the entrance but quite a few steps up to the door. Maybe there is another way but we couldn't see it at night.Staff were lovely and friendly despite being very busy and all the tables occupied.There was a smaller choice available than shown online due to Covid19 restrictions - maybe check before setting your heart on moussaka or mixed grill!!The portions were large and vegans easily catered for alongside meateaters. The food was average (hence 3 stars) but the prices very reasonable and service swift.

This is a great place to eat if like us you are heartily tired of the same old same old at every other eaterie in the area. The standard of cooking is very high, the service is attentive and personable, we had a fantastic dinner at a very competitive price. I was however very glad I had booked a table out of the bar area away from the huge sports screens, just a tip if you want the same. Have the calamari, they are the best I’ve ever had outside of Cyprus.

We were staying in Farnham for the weekend and visited for our evening meal on the Saturday. Great Cypriot food and impeccable service from our waitress Lea. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic night. Honestly cant speak highly enough of this place after our meal this evening! Bryony, our waitress, was an absolute delight. She was so friendly and smiley, and made sure everything was perfect for us every time she came to the table. The food was also wonderful, huge portions that tasted great! The dips were so tastey and I will be raving about the trio of cheese for months! See you again very soon!

Not been before but was blown away from the moment we pulled up in the car park! We were greeted with a big smile fromthe manager welcoming us. We were shown to our table and very impressed with the social distancing inside. The menu sounded incredible, so hard to choose what to order, it all sounded delicious! We were not disappointed! The food was off the scale! We were served by a very attentive waitress who made sure our night out went perfectly! She was always smiling and knowledgable of the menu, very impressed! Thank you to Laura (the waitress) and the whole team for a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to come back soon!

Family meal here was very enjoyable. Excellent service- would like to mention Bryony in particular, she was very smily, atentive and helpful. Food portions were slightly small however still very tasty and was very good quality. Will be returning very soon🙂

Although I only visited for drinks I was welcomed to a nice atmosphere, which isn’t easy to come by during this unexpected times. Great COVID restrictions in place! Felt safe. We came in Tuesday evening of this week, the food was absolutely delicious. When arriving we were greeted with a warm welcome. There were hand sanitiser stations on arrival and were happy to see all workers wearing masks, so felt completely safe. Our waitress was Laura, she was very bubbly and answered any questions we had as well as engaging with our children and cracking some jokes. Overall a lovely evening and we will be back soon.

Pleasant location for a friends lunch. Friendly staff who knew their menu. Pretty stingy portions so you need to order quite a few of them or you'll go home hungry. Maybe that's why they now have a 25% discount offer. More of a mezze than normal meal.

Have been to The Fox before lockdown a couple of times. Food was tasty, service was good. Sadly this visit was awful. Food portions very small, cold chips, cold meat in my kebab, poor service Sky TV all over the main bar. Cannot believe the change so disappointing.

What a wonderful evening, we were a group of 6 friends.. we ordered a selection of starters and mains including dips, cheese pastries and salads, all were delicious. The main courses were fresh, good value and very tasty especially the lamb kebabs :)The waiting staff work very hard at ensuring you have everything you need, and nothing is too much trouble for them.if you still have room I strongly recommend the Baklava for desert.We will all be back again very soon.Thank you for a lovely evening.

I like trip advisor and use it regularly to choose places to dine and it’s especially helpful during the current pandemic. However it’s always very suspicious when a pub or restaurant has so many ‘one review’ write up almost all that are five star, doesn’t add up. We last dinner last week, I actually quite like the menu it promises but but sadly doesn’t deliver on quality. Service is noisy and disorganised and the place was not very clean. Won’t be returning, shame as we are very local.

We visit The Fox regularly but had ‘pie roasts’ for the first time recently and they were great. One lamb and one beef - loads of meat and the veg and potatoes were fab. A great Sunday lunchtime!

My husband and myself visited for the first time last. The food was amazing, great customer service, however, in the light of Covid it seemed it was the last go at a night out for a huge group of people before the six group hits tomorrow! We haven't got a problem with people enjoying themselves at all but social distancing was a problem, the group were so loud we couldnt hear the waitress a lot of the time so this really took the edge off of a birthday meal. We would visit the restaurant again because the food was lovely but maybe not on a saturday night...in mid flow of a Pandemic.We've visited pubs and restaurants since they opened up again and have felt perfectly safe. Felt quite uncomfortable during our time there last night so was unfortunately a rushed meal on our part.

This place is a true gem ! The food is as authentic and tasty as you would find in Cyprus (If not better) It is evident that Paul and his team has a true passion for their culture and cuisine with all dishes super super yummy . I would highly recommend this restaurant as it will now be our go to for Cypriot / Greek food . You will not be disappointed !!

We booked Yia Yiahs for our Hen party dinner. They seated us upstairs in a private area which was absolutely perfect for us. It meant we didn't disturb others but could really enjoy ourselves which we did. We were able to choose our own music and it didnt take long for us to get up and dance. It was a great space for our event. Louis and his team were only too happy to accommodate our needs and they were attentive all night long. They concocted a mocktail for the non-drinkers which was a lovely touch. The food was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the night. Thanks for making our event really really special, we had one very happy bride to be and 9 grateful hens.

As the title says, this was nothing special. We went on a Tuesday in August which meant we were greeted a full half-price menu. If I’m honest, I wouldn’t return for the full price menu. The price wasn’t really worth it, when you can get Greek food for cheaper elsewhere, although the food wasn’t anything to complain about. It wasn’t awful, but it was brilliant. We couldn’t fault the service. Our waiter was very polite and did his job well. Finding our way around the restaurant when we first arrived was difficult too. The system was confusing and we weren’t greeted when we got there - in fact, we couldn’t find any staff for several minutes. Unlikes to be returning.

There was 15 of us for a family gathering, all the food was delicious ! We were served by Paula who was fabulous and very attentive!

We visited tonight to have a meal for our wedding anniversary, the table we were placed at was on a high footfall route so it didn't feel very cosy with staff and customers walking past constantly, however the food was very nice and good value for money especially with the discount applied for the government eat out scheme. It did take a while for the food to come out but it was very busy and our waitress Paula was super friendly and very helpful. All in all a lovely evening out with simple, rustic tasty food. Would visit again.

Lunch today 25th Aug - excited to get a booking after all the wonderful reviews on here!!!WELL not good at all1. booked 12.30 - food order 1.20pm after pointing out can we order please2. all this time allowed our eyes to wonder and discover hygiene wasnt top of their list dirt all under the table ( Old salt and pepper packets + dirt) and the toilets left a lot to be desired + 1st for lunch on a Monday expected the place to be clean3 Ladies Toilet a disgrace no flush handle, WC constantly running water, no toilet roll holder and broken4 over enthusiastic young man very annoying to begin with and invisible afterwards5. kids food arrived eventually 20 minutes later 6 have to ask 10 minutes later where is ours!7 No side order delivered have to wait 10 mins for it to arrive8 FOOD basic where was the flavouring described in the menu - NON existent except for the burger which is easy !!!9 food and service unfortunately I have found better in a Kebab van10 to all the 5 star reviews on here get real and be honest with people LAST we wont be back but good luck

Went for dinner with family, they fitted us in even though they were mostly booked. The food is just so delicious and I can't speak highly enougb of the staff, especially Louis and Paula, who were an absolute delight. Really excellent vegetarian options. Going back as soon as I can.

Had some booking problems with their online booking system and website, but seemed to resolve it.Had lunch as part of the eat out to help out promotion.Good social distancing with tables and one way system. However, only saw a piece of paper to note down contact details (and didn't have a pen).Welcome efficient and friendly. Was looked after mainly by Lea and also Ivan. Both very friendly and efficient.A good selection of small dishes. Certainly an excellent and varied selection for vegetarians.Dips with pitta bread all seemed fresh and tasty.I liked the butter beans in sauce as well as the cheese parcels. A ratatouille style dish was good, but not really to my liking.I'm not a desert person, but they looked good and were popular.Even outside of an offer, the prices are good value.Service as mentioned was excellent.No reasons not to go back!

Booked a cabana for my sons birthday. Nice and spacious and was able to fit all our guests. Hostess - Izzy - greeted us at the door and offered us all hand sanitiser (extremely important in today’s world). Wide selection of drinks for both adults and kids and really enjoyed the food. Will be coming back to try the puddings (especially the doughnuts) as we were too full the first time! Easy to find.

Dropped by for a quick drink and ended up trying some of their ‘four dips with pitta’. Absolutely smashing. Welcomed at the door by Izzy and found a table in a cosy corner with no problem. Meal was pleasant and our waitress made sure we were looked after. Definitely will visit again. Thanks

Want to say a huge thank you to our waitress Alex, who provided us excellent service throughout our meal. We followed her recommendations for the pork souvlaki and kalamari and were amazed by the quality from the chefs. Perfect service and perfect food. Will definitely visit again!

Was looking for a place for a quick drink with friends and came across the fox. We were greeted at the door by Izzy and shown to a lovely table in the corner by the bar. Service was brilliant and we ended up ordering some food (four dips with pitta- delicious!!) Definitely will be returning.

From the welcome at the door, adhering to social distancing and good hygiene to the amazing choice of food, really beautiful decor and great friendly service from our waitress - the bill said her name was Fran but not sure if that’s right! (Young lady with long hair and glasses) She was very attentive and friendly but professional and was knowledgeable about the food. Came for a greek meal with my mates as our holiday to Greece got cancelled this year. The food was just like being in Greece and the atmosphere was great. Our waitress Chloe was amazing for putting up with us and was very attentive and was very helpful with the menu. Defo will be back soon!
