The best restaurants in Farnham Castle Waverley South East

We were here on a grey rainy afternoon but the welcome cheered us up. I’ve read nothing but good reviews and I totally agree with them. I had the dark romance pancake that had dark chocolate, coconut and sour cherry init. My husband had the cheesy savoury one and both of us enjoyed our choice immensely. I mentioned to the lady who served us that it was my husbands birthday and she came over with a stack of baby pancakes with strawberries and chocolate sauce on top which he loved. We each had a smoothie too both of which were delicious. I’d highly recommend and we will return.

Perfect! Caffe Piccolo in Esher was a family favourite growing up, and having recently moved to Guildford and discovered there is one in Farnham I couldn’t wait to visit. It certainly didn’t disappoint. The service was amazing- everyone was so welcoming, friendly and super efficient and you can really tell it’s an independent- the staff care and go over and above. The food was every bit as good as I remember. I had the Mozzarella in Carozza and Spaghetti meatballs for a trip down memory lane- and both were superb! As was my fiancés pizza. Portions are huge- you won’t leave hungry!!!! We can’t wait to come back and work our way through the menu! Thanks for a great evening!

Poppee in today as we were in Farnham. Had a really lovely panini and club sandwich with some teas. The space was really nice the service was really relaxed and the food was of a high standard.

A really nice little spot! Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. The food was great and made to order so you know it's nice and fresh. Slight trouble with ordering at one point but food was made quickly afterwards so it wasn't a problem at all. Absolutely worth while, around 25 pound a person so not breaking the bank either!

Wonderful meal there last night, very reasonably priced including wine. Friendly and efficient staff. Hidden gem, I'd say!

Such a wonderful little gem of a restaurant, food and service were excellent.

On route home I thought we'd stop and grab tea and maybe a cake. Unfortunately they were due to close. But as we walked into the cafe a lady literally slammed her cigarettes on a table and complained that we were walking down the hill and they were due close. Had to be the most unwelcome individual I've experienced. Fair enough if they going to close. But maybe explain nicely that sadly they were closing shortly instead of making it very obvious we were not welcome.

Don't listen to the negative reviews! there is always someone to moan about something! Such a lovely little shop - we should be supporting the smaller sandwich shops rather than the chains, so friendly and well located! Lovely food, fresh and served with a smile. I hope you re-open soon and keep up the hard work! we love it! xxx

Great variety of foods. Particularly for the more health conscious and friendly staff. Dog friendly too!

Fab food and great value for lunch!

Really lovely Italian restaurant. The food was fresh, tasty and well-presented. And the staff were all very friendly and attentive. To start, we ordered the calamari, Caprese salad, bruschetta and the aubergine Parmigiana. Then for mains, we had the tagliatelle funghi, spaghetti milanese and the Diavola pizza. All of the dishes were really good. We would definitely come back here to enjoy the food and try some new dishes!
