The best restaurants serving British food in Farnham Castle Waverley South East

Called in here as usual for what was another absolutely lovely lunch and drink in the glorious sunshine. Harry was on duty and his warm friendly outlook makes the visit all the more special. My wife and I had selected our sandwiches with triple cooked chips as a side order and it was excellent. This place must have the most realistically priced drinks in Farnham and it is so much cheaper than anywhere else. Thank again for yet another amazing Friday lunchtime experience.

Visited Farnham from Wales for first time today. Found Coffee Diem and so glad we did. We only wanted coffee and cake as a snack, but we couldn't have been made more welcome. Such a lovely atmosphere and the coffee etc was excellent. Will certainly go there again if we are in the area. It's a real gem.

Awful place that calls itself a wine bar. The staff have no idea how to open or serve wine. With bottles costing up to £48, staff are not trained to open it let alone know what it is. I asked the manager if our table could be cleaned and she said she had done it already and walked away. Very rude - very expensive mediocre food. Won’t be returning. Used to be a great place.

We dropped by for a quick birthday coffee and were welcomed with a warm and friendly greeting. After sitting down, we decided to browse the menu and ended up opting for some food as well. I'm so glad we did—it was absolutely delicious! Kudos to the team for a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be returning!

Normally quite good but no brown beer on last visit

First time visiting since it being under new management and can honestly say we definitely weren't disappointed. We had a table booked in the snug area as it was dog friendly. The food was outstanding and the staff are friendly and attentive. Pricing is very reasonable and their set menu is great value for money. We were a party of 3, all had mains and desserts with huge compliments all round. Will most certainly be back and also be highly recommending to others.

Shout out to Yaz and Paddy for their service here, made the experience amazing. The food and service were some of the best we’ve had in a long time so attentive and knowledgeable and very personable. Will definitely be back would definitely recommend ☺️

Grubby, the only word to describe it. On the first sunny Sunday of 2025, to sit in the sun with a beer, joy.BUT No, sitting in an outside ashtray surrounded by empty glasses. Please only a handful of customers so plenty of time to collect glasses, care. A broom everyday no hardship, but there as so many a big job. One of only a few remains wet pubs, look after the old lady she needs Love

Great service, lovely relaxing mug of coffee

Such a shame. We have been coming here for years and found it resonable value. Food is never hot from the buffet (something we just put up with) But now the price is £17.95 for Sunday carvery (£12.50 child) it is just not good value. Now charging pub prices. We would rather sit in a characterful pub and pay the same and more likely have hot food rather than the 'normal' cool food. I hope they look at what they are doing and make changes
