My recent visit to Coata left much to be desired. Despite spending £8 on two coffees, I was disappointed to find that there were no napkins readily available, except for those next to the till. Adding to the disappointment was the unprofessional behavior of Engel, who served me. After I retrieved a napkin myself, he reprimanded me, which I found to be entirely uncalled for. Such lack of attention to customer needs and unprofessional conduct tarnished what could have been a pleasant experience. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to ensure better service in the future.

Really nice coffee. Gain 10 "beans" (points) for a free coffee. Bring own cup and gain extra bean - so only 5 drinks then a freebie! Pleasant staff.

Love this Costa store. I only live a few doors up so come in here regularly. They always remember my order. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Nice menu variety and lovely drinks. They're lovely and interactive with my 3 year old little girl which always goes a long way for me. Yes it's a chain, but it's a lovely family friendly small branch with decent staff.

Not the best Costa. Had to strain my hearing as wear hearing aids to hear my panini being called out. No offer of any sauces. Which would have been nice. Nice panini.

Popped in for breakfast. Staff were attentive and helpful. Trays and tables could have been a little cleaner but otherwise a nice quiet place to spend an hour.

Takes too long waiting..plus floors good do with a good clean plus the toilets were out of order..but they did put a sign up saying so

Ordered an iced cappuccino but got served a hot cappuccino. Told the barista .he couldn't be bothered and said he couldn't get me an iced cappuccino. Am having to drink a drink I dodnt order. Poor customer service and feeling really upset.

I have working in Farnham for the last 23 years. Have enjoyed my morning Costa coffee Latte from the Farnham branch. I must admit though over the last 2 months the place has deteriorated with regards to quality of service, not being opened, fridges broken, no fresh food, seating areas closed. I have never seen a business deteriorate so badly over the last couple of months. They have had a new manager start around about then which makes me think this certainly is the problem. Nice enough person but I can only speak as I find. Arrived this morning and noticed the new manager in the shop just finished serving a young girl and her two young children. The door was locked and when I knocked on the door the manager said she was closed, what at 8.10 a.m. in the morning having already served someone already. Thank goodness there is a Cafe Nero's around the corner in Castle street. where they are always open on time in the morning, great staff and customer service and fresh produce. I will be moving to Cafe Nero for sure.

This is one of my regular haunts in Farnham - I often take my wife here or meet friends. I always enjoy the soft smooth latte, but the acting manager is just so helpful - he is a joy to talk to and really courteous.

Great service if you want to be left alone, ignore when have dirty table near you, when you say bye to staff ignore. So such a great score in my book

Good Costa in Farnham, clean, several tables, pretty busy when I went on Sunday morning but food and drinks up to Costa's usual high standards. Friendly staff.

It's always kept clean. Staff are friendly and attentive, however, it can get very busy at times, seeing as it is quite small.

My friend waited 30 min for a drink and it turned out they had forgot and it was very crowded and then we told them and it took another 15 min. Then we had to go home coz we had been waiting for 45 min for a drink :(((((

Nice and sweet coffee, especially lattes, are first-rate here. The new app with beans collected, include a bean for every refillable cup with take in.

Waited 5 minutes to be served. 2 staff were making drinks but also talking to off duty colleague. Just needed to acknowledge my presence rather than ignore me.

Being a costa costumer, I must say that I'm quite disappointed with the service today at 12h30m on the 2nd June, We arrived and waited in the queue as normal, the gentleman working asked me what we wanted, and turned his back to us without even saying sorry the other costumer still needs something, Instead he proceeded to make not very nice comments about the other costumers in store, Really disappointed today

A big Thank You. My husband and I were heading into Costa in Farnham when I tripped while crossing the road. I was in a lot of pain and could not move. A young man working in Costa came out to see if I was ok, and fetched me a glass of water and an ice pack as I had banged my head on the kerb, he also allowed me to sit at a table by the door for a few minutes while my husband went for the car. I ended up in A&E and had a black eye and a fractured shoulder. Thank you again to the young man who helped me. We’ll be back for a coffee another time !!

Asked the manager of the Costa Coffee shop in Farnham if I could use their toilet. I am 70 and bladder/prostrate issues as and desperate to use the loo. His response was go away unless you purchase food or beverage from my restaurant. Such appalling behaviour to an elderly person especially in this Covid-19 pandemic.

Costa coffee Hartley Wintney very disappointing 😑 no white bread, no brown bread, no bacon baps. Why can it not be managed better. Day before Farnham also had not got the above. But in Alton on the same day had it all, very well managed place.

One of the best latte's around is here at Costa. Yes, social-distancing is well taken care of, but the great joy is the mellow flavour of the standard latte.

Good social-distancing is now in place, with a one-way system in place, floor markers to keep apart and good screens by the tills. One of the servers/makers of coffee/baristas was wearing a mask. Being so hot we went for the fruit drinks in crushed ice - very nice - but a tad pricy at over £3. However, I Iike Costa's mellow coffee on cold days!

It was what I was expecting a place where they sell coffee and cakes.

I don't remember what we had, but we all had the same type of coffee served differently. We all agreed that it was very good, though I enjoyed the hot version the best. Overall experience was great, the coffee-baristas were very kind, and if I'm in Farnham again, I would love to get some coffee here again :)

I know this is England and its difficult to get good coffee outside of London, but only twice have i binned a coffee instead of persevere for the buzz. Starbucks filtered coffee in Sydney and Costa Farnham. Waste of money.

The sweetness of the latte is always enjoyable at Costa. But its a bit drab and dreary inside, and the toilets are always un-loved!

It's OK, staff are friendly but the place looks tired and in need of a good renovation, especially the toilets. Some fresh paint and a brighter, lighter ambience would do wonders for the place

The staff are lovely and helpful (my coffee was made quickly), however, the premises are in dire need of some TLC. The cafe is dingy and dark, tables are piled up with dirty dishes and the whole place is looking a bit dated. Needless to say, if you're looking for something gluten-free and dairy-free to have with your coffee, don't bother. Costa are falling behind in standards and the great staff in this branch hardly make up for the overall dreary atmosphere. Major improvement required.

Tasty coffee but always a shame that Costa insist on 'closing ' around you . This means paper cups and staff stacking chairs etc around you. Why not do this when closed? Means paying staff a bit more! What would happen if the same happened in a restaurant? Paper plates and chairs on tables? Additionally why are the toilets so terrible? These are the reasons why I don't choose to have coffee in Costa.

Guess its what you expect from a chain.. a wall of noise and snacks that bloat you! Coffee is nice enough.

Didn't have to wait long to be served. Had what I wanted in stock and brought the food to the table. Polite staff and not hurried at all to vacate the table after finishing.

I really want to give more stars.. the staff are always friendly and do the best they can but in reality, they always seem to be under staffed with an inadequate amount of prep space.. last time I went in, the dishwasher was broken (again) and the staff looked stressed out. Because of these reasons, my coffee has suffered by being burned and often takes a while to get served and actually get the coffee. Unfortunately it has put me off going here regularly and tend to just do so when I’m in town, desperate for a coffee and passing.

It's an ok place to grab a coffee, but it feels quite shabby and quite dirty especially at the back nearer the toilets.

We visited for a family Saturday morning coffee. The barista was amazing. Not only was this a very nice latte and americano. He was obviously a cocktail maker in his spare time. The milk jugs (empty) were moved around just as if he were a juggler or starring in the film Cocktail.

As a chain coffee shop Costa generally is better than the rest. However, this branch (sadly, my local Costa) is utterly dismal inside and is in dire need of a proper refurb to at least lift it to other better, brighter looking branches in the chain that I have experienced elsewhere. Farnham is brimming with proper coffee shops that are privately owned and serve much better product, go somewhere else first.

I visit this costa every week before work, this is a choice as there is also a costa in Alton which I pass on my way to work, However the staff in this store are so lovely. The food and drinks are always as I expect, and many members of staff know my order, making my trip a quick one when I am in a rush. Most staff members make an effort to have a conversation when it is not too busy, and Denis is particularly lovely! I would 100% recommend this Costa.

The first fajhita I was served was warm on the outside, but the filling was cold. The assistant offered to re-heat it. This time it was served with the filling outside of the wrap. When I took it back again, I was told that the filling did come out after the fajhita was heated. This has never happened in a Costa before.

Stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon for a coffee. I will not be coming back. The service was so slow and the girl behind the counter couldn't remember who had ordered what. It was a joke.

the Staff were friendly enough but they seemed confused by our very simple drinks order. After asking us several times if we wanted to drink in or take away, they got it wrong. Although this didn’t annoy us enough to write a bad review, when we asked for the porridge pots too, they were out of stock, despite it being advertised as £1 with a drink before 11am.
