This place just gets better. A very friendly atmosphere and the clientele are really chatty and nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the place is a proper community pub with a family atmosphere. Lots of things organised most evenings and a good menu. Had never been here before having moved to Badshot lea recently thought I'd check it out (it's within stumbling distance!) They were holding an " 80s night " which is what drew my friend and I in. We had a fantastic time, the music was brilliant and every one was very friendly. My friend and I were the last to leave 🤣🙈 great bar service never had to wait long and reasonably priced drinks (250 ml glass of wine and a DBL vodka coke was just over a tenner!) Will definitely be going back! Great pub & so nice to be able to have a dance 👌

Sunday roast good as always, the high standard is constantly maintained.

Absolutely wonderful beer garden and the service was very friendly and welcoming. Would strongly recommend for people with children and dogs, as well as those without! The halloumi fries were exceptional.

We held my Mother's wake at The Elm Tree a few weeks ago and from my initial enquiry to the actual day, Debbie and her staff were helpful, considerate and respectful. They provided a buffet lunch which was excellent value for money with really good food and there was more than enough for our group. We looked at a number of venues that were within a 5-minute drive of Aldershot Crematorium and the service and value offered by The Elm Tree was by far the best. I would not hesitate in recommending The Elm Tree for any function, based on our positive experience. Sincere thanks to Debbie and her staff from all of my family.

Not visited this pub for a long time. Much of it has changed, for the good. A single main bar accessible from all areas of the establishment the landlord and landlady where very friendly along with some of the locals i had the pleasure of meeting. A great variety of beers and lagers. The pub has a large footprint car park, outside table area and a play area for children. A great family atmosphere.

What a great family pub make you feel very welcome lovely food and garden area with live musicians and the Sunday roast is spot on I would not hesitate in recommending this gem to anyone You would be missing out if you didn’t try it we can’t wait to get down there again and it’s not out the way at all and ample parking So honestly! Was there for a wake and it was managed very well. Apart from vegetarian sandwiches on the same plate as meat.

First time at this pub, was made to feel welcome by the very friendly staff. Food was good value for money. Will definitely go back.

Had granddaughters 1st birthday here food was lovely. We were looked after.

A very family orientated pub... staff are incredibly welcoming as well as the locals and the land lady and lord are very friendly, kind, considerate and passionate 💖 as a female I'd happily come and sit here on my own without feeling uncomfortable 😊

I took 8 of my family for a Sunday lunch as we hadn't been together for a long time due to covid. To start with only option was beef roast beef or pork roast not a great choice for children. No other option of food .we didn't like the strong red wine gravy and the parsnips were rock hard.so not a great meal to be honest.

Ask to leave because I was on my horse didn't want our sort in the public house prejudice and rude my 8 year old nephew on his birthday was confused

Nice, clean looking pub with good selection of beers, the wine list is a little limited but ok. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere was great, only issue a few of the younger guys language after a few was a bit off putting especially if we wanted to bring the kids and try their menu. Friendly staff, nice surroundings and a Great Sunday lunch with moreish puddings with nice beers to wash it all down. Following the covid guidelines so feels a safe place to still visit under the current situation. Will definitely visit and eat there again.

New owners have done a lot of work. Garden very nice and a decent pint. Friends had food said was very nice. Next time passing will pop in

First pub visit in a year. We moved during lockdown and The Elm Tree is a minutes walk from home, so we've been looking forward to trying it. The Staff were excellent in terms of COVID guidance, they were friendly, the food was good standard pub grub. Very pleased it's our new local.

It's ok for a drink no food but welcome to take a picnic & set in the garden of the pub or if you wont food you can go to the bakery next door & buy yourself & the family something to eat them go into the pubs garden & have a drink & some food. Exquisite complex meals, fantastic wine and gin menu also. Lovely place for a romantic night out with your loved ones. Mark couldnt have been more helpful. Highly recommend the roast potatoes.

A Decent pub. New landlord apparently who seems like a nice bloke. Nice range of beers and football on the telly, basically a traditional boozer, no frills but a good place to spend an evening or an afternoon

Based on what I read in the reviews I was going to be in the area and decided I would stop here for lunch. No food and the atmosphere of a men's drinking pub. If that is what you are looking for it may be a 5 but it is not what is portrayed here.

A quick stop for a snack lunch. Wow, beautiful young great dane, friendly staff, great choice of wine by the glass, what more could you want. Loved the chardonnay by the glass and my pannini. The chips with the fish cake were faultless as was the lovely chilean cabernet sauvignon. It was quiet whilst we were there for lunch but can imagine that come evening time it gets busier. Small step but it is accessible and roomy once inside.nwe sould go back. Thank you to the staff in olved.

This pub has amazing Sunday dinners but be quick as they run out a lot as it's popular, range of different meats at a very good price and heat roasts. Children are welcome and they have a amazing garden with things for children to do Never eaten mid week but the Sunday dinner is amazing

We took our black Labrador to the Elm Tree pub in Farnham. We had a bottle of wine and our dog Bella had heaven. She met the pub's own dog, which is a Great Dane puppy (but, even at this age of just over a year, the size of a Shetland pony) who was statuesque, but so very gentle. And the best of heaven for Bella was an enormous bone (at least a foot long) which kept her totally occupied for all of the hour that we were at the pub. The staff were kindly and helpful.

Good selection of beers, friendly bar staff, it was quite busy but didn't need to wait long for service as plenty of staff on hand. Large covered terrace, ideal for the smokers amongst you!

Had a Sunday lunch with 5 members of the family including 8yr old son and 4yr old Grandaughter. Staff really friendly, lovely interior and lovely outside area for the children to play. We all had a roast and it was excellent perfectly cooked and plenty of it. Would highly recommend & we will definitely be coming again. Many Thanks The Elm tree Angela & family

Recently held the wake for a funeral at the Elm Tree after being let down by another local venue, wish we had thought of them first, service from start to finish was fantastic! Great food, really friendly and nothing was too much trouble, thank you 😀

The Elm Tree land lady Debbie and her team provided a warm dignified reception lunch for around 30 friends and family this week. The atmosphere, food and service was most fitting not to mention, delicious with good size portions. The Elm Tree staff were most attentive and I will certainly recommend to others.

We have been here a few times in the past and the inside was always in need of some Tender Loving Care (TLC). Well its had the TLC and is lovely inside now. They have given the place an excellent coat of paint and it is now bright and light. We went in on Christmas Day in a small group and the place had a large gathering of people just wanting to have a good time and a celebration Christmas drink. The Doombar was perfect and a few of these went down very well. The girls behind the bar work very efficiently and are very friendly. All in all a great improvement on how it was. With reference parking there is a big car park at the front and side and a large outdoor area if you want to brave the cold weather to have a drink and a smoke.

When I asked if they served food it was as if I had three heads. Dirty glass and bar maid deemed swearing at her guests acceptable. (Not at me) but still not what you want to hear!

We visited for Sunday Lunch with my mother in law. We all ordered from the specials which had quite a variety. I ate the pheasant which was delicious. However the desserts were the tour de force! Nice English food and a nice pub at a fair price.

Had to meet a client late, last minute and happened by chance on The Elm Tree in Weybourne near Farnham. Time wasn't on our side as we asked if food was being still being served ? The answer " not a problem" was followed by a fabulous serving of the best pub food I have tasted in a long time. Food A1. Staff A+++. Would thoroughly recommend. ;-)

Saying nothing speaks volumes. . Will not drink or eat in here again. Rude landlady .. no atmosphere. .unless I suppose your a regular... Not the way to run a business.!

We came to the elm tree in Farnham and the pub in a whole is a very excellent pub and very friendly atmosphere and food was perfect and very good selection of wines and beers.A++++

Arrived at 7.30 pm on a Saturday evening to be told they had stopped serving food! What is the point of their website! No hint of an apology, don't go near this place if you are hungry!

We popped in to The Elm Tree for a bite to eat on Saturday afternoon, and what a pleasant afternoon we had. We arrived at about 12.15 to a friendly welcome, and after a good look over the varied menu and specials board we both decided to try a burger. What a good decision that was! After no time at all our food arrived, and what a great choice we'd made. Our homemade beef burgers arrived brimming with salad, (rather than the usual limp lettuce leaf and slice of tomato) aside what seemed like a mountain of chunky chips. I have a 'healthy appetite' shall we say, and my meal certainly filled me up more than enough! It was tasty as well as plentiful, and I'd say a 'must try' for burger connoisseurs like myself. From the other meals I saw being served most appetites would be satisfied here though, and there are plenty of other options besides burgers Aside from the food, this pub has a lovely beer garden with a play area for children as well as a covered patio area with several tables. Whilst we were there we saw everyone from age 18 to 80, including families, couples and groups of friends come and go and all seemed to be enjoying themselves. I only wished I lived a bit closer, as I think most people would enjoy having The Elm Tree as their local.
