Everything was OK. Food was good. Pity its a long way from where I live.

Great place for a quiet lunchtime meal, staff are polite and respectfully and the prices are pretty good too.

Mate recommended this place, hidden little gem. Food & atmosphere where great. enjoyed our Saturday

Great atmosphere, excellent food. Good music and staff very friendly. A couple of screens to show sports and a decent beer garden. Pints vary in price from reasonable to a bit on the costly side, but the burgers are amazing.

Great burgers and chicken goujons. Proper home made patty and lots of choices of filling and many dirty fry options. A real treat if you like that kind of thing. Lots of benches in garden. Dog friendly. Quiet for a Friday lunchtime.

Lovely pub with excellent customer service didn’t eat but saw the food being served to someone else looked delicious very pleased to have found this hidden gem and will definitely be back soon

I have been coming here for years. The food is always prompt and of good standard. The garden is lovely and spacious. Is a great pub for all occasions and seasons.

Nice pub, plenty of seating outside

Lovely hidden cafe shop in one of the tranquil narrow path ways in Guildford high street. Lovely food but a very tiny setting gives a pretty squashed feeling when you are inside during the bad weather. A couple of tablets are placed outside if you are lucky you might grab a seat.

Brodie and his band were absolutely amazing on 02/02/2024. The food was just right a great evening and atmosphere had by all !

Visited the Plough today ,around 5.30pm with my wife and son , the bar was empty and the lady behind the bar was engrossed in a moaning session with a customer . I stood less than a foot away from her listening for a few minutes and it was clear I was not going to be spoken to , my wife came up to the bar and said lets go somewhere else please ... we left and looked around to see the lady walk off away from the bar into a back area ...she was not even aware of us ! We went to a Cafe Piccolo a few doors down and had few beers and snacks there .... they were a much better choice as the staff were friendly and pleased to see us .

This is such a great venue for music and local fun and easy food. It is a great place to eat, drink and feel the local music feels. We love it and don't get the chance to go often enough, but when we do, we have a really great time as the staff are great!

Enjoyed the live rock music. Busy atmosphere. I was on my own and met some friendly Rockers x ...back today!early monday evening. Lots of jobs to do on my phone so popped in here for coffee and wifi...did not realise I've been here before!!! Had the Hungry Boys burger and it was superb 😋 especially as I haven't eaten much since my traffic collision 3 weeks ago. I ll be back. For more good music and food asap

A pretty good pub by Farnham standards that often has live music on. They have Hungry Boys food, which is generally good and offers burgers and fries at a decent price. The pub gets quite lively and has a nice big garden for the warmer months. The beer selection needs a bit of a refresh, particularly on the ale front which is quite basic Shepherd Neame gear. Wasn’t sure about the giant husky dog roaming free here though. All in all a solid if not spectacular pub.

Absolutely lovey welcome for people that they never met. Really genuine, friendly, and so on point with just being the perfect hosts. I wish there were more like Billy and Elsie around.

Great atmosphere with live band. Asteria were fabulous and got the crowd going We didn't eat, so we can't comment on food. Tables were kept clear of empties all evening Toilets could do with a bit of a makeover

Good sized pub. Seating inside and out. Staff friendly. Drinks price good. Had the hungry boys menu. Yum! However has a reduced menu now. Every weekend normally live music. We had Northern soul but still good nd people were dancing nd enjoying themselves.

The Plough is a wonderful pub with absolutely brilliant staff and very very good range of beers. Their music nights are amazing, especially if one can get to PloughFest.

The burger was really nice, good blend and 12 pounds for a triple burger is a good price for the quality. The messy fries were decent, nothing to complain about but not not a first choice. really kind folks too, I'm from Canada but hospitality reminded me of my Canadians back home.

I absolutely love the The Plough. Great atmosphere with open mic nights and fantastic talented bands. Oh… The staff are lovely too. You’re guaranteed a fun evening.

With Hungry Boys in the kitchen, you've got probably the best burgers, wings, and tenders in the entire country. Truly the burger is fantastic, perfectly crisp edges on the patty, great sauce, perfect ratios. The tenders were juicy and succulent and the sauces were great. My only complaint - the buffalo sauce was a bit hotter than buffalo sauce is meant to be, and there's no option for a blue cheese dip to pair it with. Other than that, this was fantastic and I'll definitely be back Update: back again, still great

We heard about the food in the Plough and we are so glad we went. I had the vegan burger. Was amazing. The best I’ve had in a long time. And my husband had the wings he said they were lovely. Will be back

Had live music which was great, the food was a little limited as some food on the menu wasn't available so had sides instead which were very nice. Staff very halpful and friendly.

We had FAB food and great service from the general waiters/waitresses. After finishing our meals, we took ourselves off outside in to the smoking area. We turned on the outside heaters as it was a bit of a chilly and wet evening. To our dismay, we were approached by a man (who turned out to be the manager of this establishment) who grabbed my friend by the arm to stop him from turning on the heat lamps after they had turned off. This rude excuse of a human then continued to square up to my friends’ faces and shout rudely at them for turning on the lamp shouting “this costs me money” then abruptly stormed inside to cut the main power off to prevent us continuing the use of them. As paying customers putting nearly £150 behind the bar that evening l, we did not see this as a problem as a band were playing that evening using almost every disco/fairy light in the entire Surrey county. The ‘manager’ then proceeded to say “if you’re not happy then you have your money back and get the HELL out”. We followed him to the bar to receive our refund, to which he proceeded to call the police. No refund was given. Do NOT go here unless this guy fortunately decides to take his stinking attitude elsewhere. Appalling behaviour.

Always a welcoming atmosphere at the plough, and the live music scene is without doubt probably the best in Farnham. Good beers, food and great service, what more do you need. Oh yes! A garden is included with undercover seating, a treat in the summer on the lawn.

Food was absolutely insane!!! Highly highly recommend the Cauliflower wings and the vegan burger. Really nice to have a quirky option in Farnham.

Some great musicians, but mostly people who just love music. England needs more of this, go along, join in!

Great pub on the edge of Farnham town centre. It's one of the best live music venues in the area, with plenty of space for a four or five-piece to set up comfortably, leaving acres of room for the punters. There is a good selection of keg beers and real ales, all kept well, a new American-style menu (wings n burgers), large garden and friendly staff. Definitely recommended for a good night out 👍🏻

I go to this place regularly, it’s an amazing venue for music of all ages, young bands starting out, old bands and old musicians, mind you the old ones have the talent, young ungs, will learn from being there. Tonight was a wonderful night, the band playing and the host also in the band. One of the best nights I’ve had in the plough, people from all walks and background, dancing and enjoying the evening.

Is it a beer garden or a farmyard? The music is brilliant, the service is great but whose bright idea was it to have loose chickens roaming around the tables outside where you're eating, pecking your feet and leaving droppings everywhere? It's not just chickens here either... we saw a number of rats eating from the chickens' food bowls. Hope they can sort this out. At the moment it definitely puts me off returning.

A Hot Desking Gem What a wonderful place to work from today. From a welcoming dog to chicken in the garden. Lovely space, tea, coffee and even lunch great value Quiet atmosphere, no over bearing music, found I got more done here than I have for days. Will definatley be using again.

Love the plough, the staff are lovely kind and attentive, the garden is spacious with lots of cover from the elements. There is more oftern than not a band playing awesome live music. And I feel safe in the knowledge that the covid rules are followed correctly here.

Just got a roast delivered and it was excellent, for sure worth it and not a bad price either, would recommend and will be coming back. Looked at website, called a number and was here in 20 mins.

The owner is rude and miserable as sin, None of the selection of food on the specials menu was available they had ran out before 19:30!! Overall a waisted visit, the live music did offer some entertainment in these confusing times!!!

Took my son, his wife and my grand daughter with my daughter Abaigh and her boyfriend to the Plough for lunch yesterday! Typical pub grub enjoyed by all, really good food, something for everyone including my veggie daughter. We ended up in the beautiful sunny garden, not sure what happed to the forecast rain where my grand daughter was totally entranced by the chickens running wild. She had to be bribed to leave in the end!

Myself and a group of friends (5 + me) went to the plough on Saturday for a birthday celebration. The staff were great, very friendly and on the ball! Didn’t have to wait for drinks at all once we got the app sorted, speaking of the apps the bar staff explained the details of both apps that needed to be downloaded clearly and with great enthusiasm. The food was delicious! We ordered the large nachos, and they were amazing. Great portion, texture and flavour! Compliments to the chef. The singer was good, and bought a great atmosphere to the pub! The pub is also very covid safe, which eased some of the elder people joining us. We had a great time and felt at home. All round a great experience and would be happy to come again!

Beautiful spot for drink and food on a summer's day

Went for my mums birthday with friends and family. We got “told off” for being too loud, the music was so loud I couldn’t hear a thing, when trying to talk loudly the manager came up to with an attitude and said she can not afford a fine which we would cause her. RUDE. It also took over an HOUR to get a round of drinks when there were probably no more than 30 people in the entire pub. Awful service. Always took over 30 minutes to get a drink for a group of 10. Absolutely appalled with the treatment we received. No offer of a discount at all when taking over An hour for a drink at all. Older woman running the bar incredibly rude and offensive. Will not be revisiting!!!!! Would give 0 stars if I could.

I visited this poxy establishment for a friends mums birthday. It was a Saturday night with live music very loud live music and the salad fingered manager or owner what ever she wants to call herself came and shouted at us about a fine that she couldn’t afford to pay!! Apparently because of corona virus we can now no longer have fun and laugh with friends!!

Great service from the Bar staff. Sadly we missed out on the live music as we sat in the garden. Otherwise a cosy if short interlude under difficult covid restrictions. Recommended.

Lovely pub and great service. Anna, in particular, was very accommodating and friendly, however the roast was incredibly disappointing. There was only one veggie/vegan option provided on arrival, which compared to the original four that are on the online menu, which all sounded delightful, was hugely anticlimactic. Instead we were given 2 veggie sausages with a collection of regrettably flavourless vegetables, the amount of which was remarkably small and didn't reflect the price of the meal and left a rather lack-lustre impression.
