A large group of us chose Bills Farnham for a Christmas meal. The food was delicious, the service was pretty good, we just felt pretty disappointed by the lack of Christmas decor considering this was a Christmas meal and we chose the Christmas menu. The individual gravy portions were not adequate for the meal. Also, really not impressed by the fact that vegetarians/vegans have to order and pay for their roast potatoes separately!

I went here with my 2 girls almost a month ago. We were sat out cause it was very busy (ofcourse on a Saturday morning). The breakfast was not as amazing as the one in Guildford. Anyway, I ordered the bill and went upstairs to use the toilet (with my girls). When I came back, the staffs were panicking thinking I was a runaway. Which is not a problem. The problem was actually telling me that they thought I was a runaway! Why would you say such a thing to a paying customer, in front of my little girls?? That made me feel really small. Mind you, I’m an Asian, so a comment like that wasn’t the best way of approach.. the staffs need training here. Never going back.

Been to bills before and love it but this time put me off. Ordered our food and my brunch was very nice but had baked beans missing. Trying to get attention of staff was impossible (while restaurant very quiet). I had to stand up and go over and ask for my beans. Not very apologetic. I would not normally mind this sort of thing but £14 for a breakfast I would expect better service. It was a nice breakfast but the best bits (bacon and sausage) they were not generous. Egg over cooked, I have had much better for less money. We ordered halloumi on the side which was listed as £3 on menu. When the bill came we were charged £4.75 for halloumi starter which is not what we had. I know £1.75 may not be a lot for some people but we really did feel ripped off and this is not what we ordered. We came for a treat but wish we had gone somewhere else. I had a voucher to use and when it didn’t work the first time the employee just said oh it doesn’t work and made no effort to help me. I had to insist the voucher is valid and it did work when he tried second time. To then be charged full price and over £5 in service charge after the mistakes was very disappointing. A lot of places would have offered a discount for this. Over £40 for cooked breakfast and a coffee for 2 with this experience (and a discount code) I really do feel ripped off.

Visited this branch at 10am on Saturday morning to find is surprisingly quiet, We sat down to find that they ‘do not have breakfast menu at the weekend, just brunch’ There is no mention of this on their website, the menu linked from my reservation email clearly has the full breakfast options listed. Of course the brunch menu is more expensive as it’s missing many of the breakfast options (porridge, rolls, toast etc) so this is simply about increasing price per seat. I assume the absent customers are as a result. What we ate was good, as was service but if you are looking for the breakfast menu go elsewhere.

Really nice meal & great service. Between us we had fruit pancakes, a full breakfast & fried chicken with pancakes. The food arrived very promptly & was nice and hot. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. No issues at all, will be coming back again.

First visit to Bill's Farnham on a busy Saturday late morning. Greeted warmly and seated promptly. Drinks appeared in good time, our brunch took a while but within an acceptable timeframe for a busy restaurant. My partner thought her avocado in sourdough very good, my big Bill brunch was also very satisfactory but I realised a very important ingredient was missing: the black pudding which was on the menu. Unfortunately there wasn't a satisfaction check so I couldn't raise it and the waiting staff were busy rushing around. Also I would point out that the ketchup bottle cap was covered in dried sauce, an easy thing to remedy but these small details could make a difference. Food was hot and portion size good, staff friendly. I did point out to the waitress on paying about thr black pudding and in fairness she offered to take it off the bill but that would have been a bit churlish so I declined. There us a 12.5% service charge which she did point out. I would be happy to return here to try the lunch and dinner menu.

Thank you so much for hosting 10 rather weary wedding revellers for breakfast on Saturday the 9th October! After being too late at our various hotels bills came up trumps and hastily out together a table and served a fantastic breakfast. Food was amazing and service, despite being busy, was brilliant. Homous and avocado on toast, the tiniest spread of very over salted avocado and so little houmous you could hardly tasteThe price for this was astronomical considering the portion, I was still very hungry My friend had one of the vegetarian options which looked much better with poached eggs and halloumiI’ve always found the meals at Bills average at a higher price but this confirmed, shame because it’s hard to find a good breakfast place that’s not eggs and bacon!!

A trip to Bill's for breakfast/brunch is now a tradition whenever I'm visiting in-laws in Farnham. Love having the full breakfast, which is always delicious, and a hot chocolate with loads of whipped cream.Didn't realise until after my first visit that it's part of a chain and the fact that's not blindingly obvious is definitely a good thing.

On arrival it was not clear who our server was but happily sat down and waited for a server to come over to introduce themselves and take our order. After waiting a fair while to order our drinks a waitress goes straight past our table to another table who had just sat down with a dog and went as far to stroke the dog. The waitress was not seen to go and wash her hands after this and continued to serve others before ourselves. After waiting over 15 minute for our order to be taken, we had to call who we assumed was our waitress over. She was blunt, cold and rude, we then waited for our food. Whilst waiting for our food another waitress approached us to ask if we wanted to order deserts, we explained we had been here a while but had only just put our order through. Our food then came quickly, however wasn’t anything amazing (far better places with far better service). We were not checked on by any members of staff as to how our food was and weren’t offered anymore drinks.

Went to Bill's with family for the first time. Had a very good steak and eggs. The pink lemonade was also very refreshing. Only slight downside was the service. It took 20-30 minutes to order dessert. Besides that, it was very good. I shall return.

Food okay but the service completely ruined our experiance, will NOT be back due to poor service. Waiter dropped some food of our plate when serving and didn’t come back to replace what was missing from breakfast. Was never approached to ask how our food was, had to physical get up twice to get someone over for our bill - Bad especially during COVID when customers shoul not be getting up! Complete lack of attention to their customers and they weren’t even busy if the service was slightly better we would consider going back but good to know they will never be getting another penny of us and I informed my following ok social media to never go to Bills!

The facelift has made the restaurant feel really fresh and the new menu has a really good selectionThe kids menu is also better than it used to be and the food of very good quality.Service was the pinnacle…outstanding! After an age of everything being shut and many eateries going out of business I feel like restaurants should be absolutely primed and ready to have customers back through their doors, but Bill’s was sort of half ready. It was like a ‘can you just wait here a moment while I try and find my phone because I had it just a moment ago and I know I’ve put it somewhere but I just don’t know where, oh here it is, let me just have a quick scroll through Instagram before I serve you’. Not that anyone lost their phone or scrolled through Instagram. That’s not what happened. But it felt like it did. It felt like no one really cared that we were there at all, or even noticed. The service was slow., painfully slow and the whole atmosphere was just a bit lacklustre. I was there to meet two girlfriends for lunch and we were celebrating a birthday. We were a little short of time, only having an hour and a half to spare and the food took and hour and a quarter to arrive. So although the food was perfectly nice, not amazing but absolutely edible, our lovely friend who was celebrating her birthday who had to leave promptly at 1.30, left with a hefty dose of indigestion. During the hour and a quarter wait time we asked the staff several times if the food was coming any time soon and they were all very polite but the fact it is took ages. If someone had offered us a coffee on the house, or even some sparkling water or a side of chips to say sorry I would I have been more than happy. Chips as compensation? Job done. But we weren’t offered anything and the service charge was still on the bill. And seeing as we didn’t get great service I suggested maybe they take it off the bill, which they did straight away, no problem. Who wants to pay for bad service? But not paying it made me feel bad too. I don’t want to have to remove the service charge, I don’t want someone’s wages to be less because I’ve removed the service charge. But what I do want is good service. Like the rest of the world I’ve been stuck at home, cooking for myself and my family day in day out. And so coming out is supposed to feel like a major treat. But Bills made it feel less like a treat and more like I’d walked into someone’s house and demanded they share their lunch with me and they’d done so very reluctantly. But I’ll probably go back again because it really is usually quite a nice place to go. And fingers crossed next time I go they’ve got their act together and we can take time and chew out food instead of feeling like we are doing a timed bushtucker trial.

Service slow, two starters arrived had to chase for the 3rd which finally came but without the dressing (from seating to finishing it was 1hr 10mins) Tuna Tacos, disappointing. Mains were ok, steak cooked well, but would of not paid full price. In fairness, they did removed the costs of the 1 starter without being asked, and yes also requested the service charge to be removed. As said, it was "just" an average dinner

Bills have carried on the scheme in September, prices are good during this time, however would be overpriced if paying regular prices. Food was generally good, the tuna tacos starter was fairly disappointing. The mains were good and I recommend the truffle steak. Dessert menu was filled with great choices. Seating is good and staff are attentive. Price of drinks is fairly expensive and street parking was not great.

Booking app worked great. Very good service. Very clean. Very tasty. I went with two of my daughters. With a brunch style menu it is heavily egg based. Even the crab cakes have eggs on top. Luckily with c_19 my house has windows open all day. I cook and eat eggs at home. But the sulphurous fumes were ...novel. probably good for a date afternoon as long as you seal the deal within 4 hours. Or they review the egg supply chain. You may not get a second date unless they really really like you or are nasally impaired. Great food. But dont fall asleep or sleepover afterwards without full ventilation.

We chose to eat lunch here because they had outdoor seating and we have visited other Bill’s restaurants. The table had not been wiped down, there was still food crumbs on it, which worried me due to covid, but the waitress cleaned it straight away & we used the hand sanitiser on the table. Service was quick and waitress friendly. Dinners were delicious and the puddings great. I would visit again. We didn’t have to pre-book, but it was lunch time.

Decided to go to Bills after work and arrived at 9p.m. To get a quick meal. The manager reminded us about the closing time but we assured her we would be quick. We ordered two soft drinks and a sparkling water. The soft drinks came but the water did not and we had to chase it up. The service was friendly but nothing particularly spectacular. My boyfriend and I visited Bills yesterday early evening after deliberating for a little while about where to go. We chose Bills because we used to visit a lot, but found that the food and service went down hill and so stopped. However, since we hadn't been in for a year or so, thought we'd try again because it had been so good before and maybe it would be again. Unfortunately it was the worst meal we've had at Bills, and actually anywhere for quite a long time. From the beginning, the service was really slow, which is something I'm not seeing a lot of reading other reviews. It was a shame because it was very quiet, with only a few couples in the whole restaurant. We waited about 25 minutes to order our food, and another 20 minutes for the nibble to arrive - garlic bread. The garlic bread was SO oily, it was literally dripping off of the bread, to the point where you could barely taste the garlic due to the amount of oil. There was 4 slices, and I only ate half of one after using the napkin I had to drain the oil, and my boyfriend drained the rest of his and ate a couple, leaving a pool of oil on the plate. We waited another 30 mins or so for our mains, which was a chicken burger and a salmon and coconut rice bowl. The napkins and knives and forks weren't replaced, and when the food was put down, we weren't offered any sauces or extras at all. My boyfriend then got a server over and asked for mayo and ketchup, which never came. I also ordered a Diet Coke which never came. I asked two more times for the Coke, and then it came.The salmon was really very cheap, I know a profit needs to be made, but I don't think it's necessary to buy awful quality salmon which totally ruins the flavour of a dish. It had a horrible rubbery texture and an unpleasant aftertaste. The entire dish was also very oily. The rice was cold, and barely had a coconut flavour, although I must say the spinach was delicious with lovely large leaves. The burger was very bad, with incredibly liquidy coleslaw inside it which soaked through the bun and dripped out of the burger with every bite. It was also very sweet because of the brioche bun and coleslaw mix, and the chicken was cooked to within an inch of its life and was incredibly dry. Unfortunately no one checked with us how our meal was. We opted against dessert because of the wait and because the food was sub par, which is unlike me because dessert is always my favourite part!! We both left feeling really disappointed, and both of us quite sick, possibly due to the amount of oil on the food? Our bill was just under £50 and that seemed a lot for what we received, and we eat out often and don't mind paying more for nice food. That was including the automatically added 12.5% service charge to the bill, which was undeserved and frankly rude to assume people want to give.I never leave reviews, but I feel as though it's a fair warning to others to be mindful when going here, because if this was the standard when it was a quiet Sunday night, I'm not sure how they'd manage on a busy week day.It doesn't seem that the management of this branch rectifies any of the negative reviews on here, so I hope other members of the public see this and decide against! There's many other lovely restaurants in and around Farnham.

Been here several times before and always had delicious food but rather slow service as tables crammed in and time limited dining to fit in two sittings per table a night. On another previous occasion I had booked on line and had email confirmation only to arrive to find no record of our booking. They did squeeze us in in a very nosey area by the loo that my hearing impaired aid wearing mother found very hard to have a conversation. Booked Again for a birthday dinner and, did admittedly arrive 15 minutes after booking time, but they had already given away our table , no call or text to confirm if not coming and then the manager at the door was extremely abrupt and rude. I have not been back since.

We eat out very rarely and have probably been out more times during Eat out to Help Out than we do in a whole year usually. The Bill's set menu looked to be really good value, but the reality under-delivered. Main course, in particular (Halloumi burger with rosemary salted fries) simply wasn't as described: no salt of any kind (rosemary or otherwise) on the fries and virtually no halloumi in the burger bun - ie. a plate of stodgy carbs which I could easily have made myself. No way would they serve someone a meat burger with such a tiny amount of meat in it, people would be up in arms. Custard on crumble was cold (despite having been assured it would be hot) and hot chocolate was lukewarm. I wrote the next day to Bill's via their website and just got a BS standard response. Would also echo other people's comments about social distancing in this establishment.

Heard good things about this place so decided to give it a try last night.Service was Minimal and slow.Started off waiting at the door for 10 mins to be seated(only people in the queue). Table wasn’t ready upon arrival; therefore had to wait a further 5 minutes before getting to the table, understandable due to the busier circumstances from the government scheme. After we had finished starters the plates were not cleared for over 20 mins. The mains were then instantly presenter as had clearly been sat under the hot lamp for a while. Once we had finished, the empty plates were then left in front of us for over 30 minutes. Nobody came to ask how any of the food was or if we wanted another drink.Food was nothing special, the chicken burger was very boring and the manager wasn’t apologetic for poor service, or lack of. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone to be honest. Would rather grab a meal deal.

My wife and I used to meet up for lunch regularly at Bill's and we hadn't been since before lockdown so popped in for coffee and deserts. We were greeted by friendly staff and, in particular a young man called Samir made us feel very welcome and looked after us as we enjoyed sitting outside on a warm evening in beautiful Farnham. We would recommend Bill's for whatever you fancy, breakfast lunch dinner or drinks. Having such friendly and professional staff really makes the difference.

However the service was appallingly slow, with the three of us having to wait a considerable time for every part of the meal, and for everything that was offered such as the menus. We only just scraped in the 90mins our tabled was booked for ,for two courses. But what always make my blood boil is when the service charge of 12.5% is automatically added to bill, placing the onus on the customer to ask for it to be removed, which most probably don't. Really slow service, painfully slow, and you have to be very careful when checking the bill as they just add the 12.5 % tip on automatically which is really annoying as then there’s no excuse for any kind of good service. The waitress couldn’t have seemed less interested, waited 20 mins for drinks, forgot our deserts, my son was getting annoyed so we got them to take away. The donuts were a soggy wet mess and went straight in the bin. Won’t be back

First time back to Bills since it’s reopened and although the food and service was great, if you’re feeling nervous about eating out with Covid still around, I wouldn’t recommend Bills! Although we had our temperature checked and there was antibac jel on tables, there was so social distancing (didn’t look like any tables have been removed), we had paper menus which I can assume aren’t wiped after every use, no staff were wearing masks (first restaurant/cafe I’ve been to without!) and it generally felt very very busy and enclosed! It felt like the only change was taking your temperature at the door, which really isn’t good enough for a popular, busy chain restaurant! Disappointing!

The two reviews in one is the reason for my three stars, my first visit I wouldn’t have given any stars at all, second I would give 5.Me and my boyfriend visited here twice within a couple of days because the food is amazing!! On our first visit whilst I was stood outside in the rain waiting to be seen, I watched a manager wipe down one of the tables outside for a new customer, not doing a very good job of it that is, no time left in between customers for sanitiser to kick in, no wiping down and salt and pepper shakers or the seats, just a quick spray on the table. Not what you would expect during a global pandemic. When we were greeted we had our temperature checked and then were sat down. Our waitress (young blonde girl, didn’t catch her name) was obviously in a bad mood, she took a while to come over and by the time she did we were ready to order both food and drinks, she seemed to have a bit of an attitude problem. Only time we saw her smile was when she was flirting with the boys behind the bar. Our food got to the table before our drinks, we ordered a tea and a mocha, we didn’t really mind but that’s not the correct order... the food was AMAZING, pancakes were smaller than other bills we had visited but they did not disappoint and I went for the garden plate which was delicious! So we finished, we waited, waited a bit more, then our plates were cleared. That was the last time we saw our waitress. We were sat for a while trying to get someone’s attention to get our bill and eventually caught another waitresses attention for it. Then we waited... for 25 minutes. No one took our payment, I then went to the door where the manager was and paid, I told the manager I would like to remove the service charge because our waitress disappeared and we had a bad experience, not a single “sorry” left her lips, and we left. Awful customer service. Anyhow, we loved the food to much we returned the next day with some friends to give it another chance just hoping we didn’t have the same miserable waitress again and thank god we didn’t, we had a polite, chatty, funny waiter who was very attentive but not intrusive who just had everything spot on. The whole experience was perfect, again I didn’t catch his name but he was great! We didn’t wait too long for anything, drinks and food came out in the right order and our payment was taking promptly, zero complaints on our second visit! So that’s where my five stars would go to, it’s because of him that we will be returning, he changed our opinion from “the service in here is appalling” to us walking out and saying “now that, is what you call good customer service”

Very enjoyable breakfast experience this morning at Bills in Farnham. Speedy service, lovely food, friendly staff and they also accommodate for dogs. It’s also always a pleasure seeing Samir, very friendly guy and ensures that our visit is as great as it can be. One of the main reasons why we return to Bills. Visited here for a birthday breakfast but so disappointed, I doubt we will come back. My husbands smoothie was delicious but the food was not worth the visit. Nice frontage and setting to eat in but that’s about it.Our first breakfasts came out and we sent them back because they were tepid. Everything was going cold and definitely NOT fresh off the grill. The poached eggs were luke warm in the middle, the fried eggs had definitely been kept ‘warm’ and nothing else on the plate was anything like hot. The waitress was lovely, very accommodating and got us a fresh breakfast. Unfortunately the second was EXACTLY the same! I asked her if they use some kind of mass catering equipment like at a buffet (though in my experience even travel lodge buffets are hotter!!) and she said she didn’t think so, but that they had to collect the food from a certain area, maybe limitations put in because of Covid? Either way it’s definitely not working, sending cold food out to customers is a terrible idea, even worse to do it twice! I can’t imagine why a chef would not check the temperature of his food.

The day after Bill’s Farnham reopened, my partner and I were so excited to go back to one of my favourite restaurants for our first lunch again after the COVID-19 lockdown. It looked gorgeous in there and it was a great atmosphere. We both ordered a halloumi burger, I wolfed mine down as it was delicious, but about halfway through his, my boyfriend looked down at his burger and noticed a caterpillar wiggling around in his lettuce just when he was about to bite into it. A waitress swiftly took it away and sent the manager over. He was apologetic, but only offered to take the one meal off the bill. I looked at him in disbelief and reminded him that I’d eaten the exact same meal and was feeling sick as our lettuce came from the same place prior to being on our plate and he actually asked “do you want me to take your meal off the bill too?”. He didn’t offer anything at all as a gesture of goodwill, he didn’t even offer to void the bill. As he disappeared for 10 minutes to print the remainder of the bill which we were apparently still expected to pay, we decided we didn’t really want to sit in there any more. We left feeling sick and disgusted. Whilst I’m aware these things can be missed, we’d have thought the day after the restaurant reopening following Coronavirus closures, there’d be some sort of extra precautions around hygiene and cleanliness of food. On our first meal out again, it has swiftly put me off going back there to eat again as now we have distrust in their role in keeping us safe. Aside from that, the staff could’ve done a lot more to make us feel looked after and by way of apology.

went here for my daughters birthday, it was my first time at bills and sorry to say its the last.The calamari on the fish platter had been cooked within an inch of its life so was inedible, the main courses didn't all come out at the same time and when the fish pie came out it was like a wet soup with wet mash on the top.The seabass dish was dry and was supposed to come with a salsa instead just looked like a big ball of avocado which was dry. When you eat at one of these chains the menus are always to big with not enough staff and therefore mistakes will always be made, but that's 8 people that won't be going back

I'm afraid I'm done with Bills Farnham. Previously I've posted about the ridiculous wait times for food, but last time was the last straw.We went as a family of five recently. There was the usual long wait for food which we were prepared for this time (doesn't make it right tho). What we weren't prepared for was... 2 of the drinks were not as ordered, the Halloumi sticks were now served thinner than ever before (penny-pinching, trying to make the food go further at customer expense?) meaning they were overcooked and hard. 3 of the 5 food orders were incorrect, fries instead of salad ordered, 1 dish completely wrong and another dish also completely wrong was simply my daughter's starter served all over again as a main(!!??)I note Bills never respond to any posts so I can only assume that they simply don't care.We complained, of course, and when we were presented the bill by the same person we complained to, it had service charge added, they then adopted an angry attitude because we asked for the service charge to be removed!! (we should have been given a part refund IMO!) but seriously... What sort of idiot adds a service charge to a bill you just received a number of complaints from...????!!If Bills head office chooses to read this, I suggest your Farnham branch needs to go into 'special measures' with a replacement manager immediately.

A popular restaurant located in heart of old Farnham. A professional welcome if not a warm one upon our arrival after our online booking earlier in the morning for our 12 noon sitting.Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff coped reasonably well throughout our visit to stay on top of taking our drinks order; then our food before delivering both.Both starters of Halloumi sticks and Cordal Olives were both excellent. Two Beetroot Risotto were ordered along Bill’s fish pie and a carrot Wellington. The risotto’s were a disappointment; the fish pie was good, but not the best I’ve had; the carrot Wellington was excellent.We only had soft drinks and these along with our food worked out at £20 per head which was very reasonable.

2 years ago, I swore I would never go to Bill's again as the food was cold, order was wrong and staff unconcerned by this. Today I gave it another chance and once again, the food order was wrong, order incomplete so it got cold and staff were rude, trying to rush us off the table. If you want to make it a booking only service then do so and don't allow people to turn up and then make the rush to leave. Nobody replied to me previously, so not holding out any hope for a response.

Bill’s is a very rustic joint not especially cosy or warm on a cold day like today! We ate Bill’s classic hamburger washed down with Pinot noir. When the burgers arrived it appeared they were “well done” . To be fair the waiter who took our order did not ask us if we wanted medium or well done! We accepted them and they were ok just a bit dry on the edges. Service in general was on the slow side as the restaurant seemed short of staff. Ketchup took several minutes to come and so did the bill and card machine! The positives were that the wine was nice and we were offered a jug of iced water. I would go again but will not rush back at least until the summer !

We were a 6 person booking. Arrived, got seated, waited a good while to be asked what we wanted to drink. Before we even ordered we were told that there was no, coke, lemonade, pink lemonade etc. Basically whey were running out of stock. Most of the cocktails couldn't be ordered as mixers weren't available. Managers should have warned us on entering that things weren't perfect. After waiting for the drinks to arrive, we ordered food. The dishes took a while to arrive. mine was ok, but 2 dishes got sent back cold. My 2 daughters plates of food, we average at best, but they were so hungry we didn't want to wait again. We got 30 quid off the bill and I didn't pay service charge. I felt a bit sorry for the serving staff, but to be honest they made no effort to make the afternoon better. I won't be going back in a hurry. its the 5th time I have been to Bills in Farnham and the experience has got worse and worse each time. There are better options in Farnham than this . Understaffed + understocked

We had booked up for a meal for two on Sat Night 15th Feb at 18:30. We were given a perfect quiet table near the window which was perfect. Our waiter was exceptional and really couldn’t do enough for us. I had the Prawn Starter and my wife the Creamy Mushrooms. For Main my wife had the Sea Bass and I had Bill's Fish Pie. All the food was just perfect and we had a fantastic evening. I said to my wife that I would tip our waiter as he had been so attentive, polite and helpful.

Have just returned after what was supposed to be a nice Valentines meal out for myself and my hubby of 35 years. And have returned home hungry, the starters we ordered were great, I had the dumplings and my hubby had the calamari (not the best as def frozen and some were a bit chewy, but expect that). Hubby ordered the half roast chicken with salad, I ordered the chicken skewers. I could not eat mine, the skewers were dry and tasteless, the rest of the salad was just as awful so much so I had to send it back to the kitchen. My husband half chicken was really good, but because I could not eat my mail, it really spoilt the whole evening. The waiter was good and removed my meal from the bill, but still walked out of the restaurant having to go home to get a sandwich to eat. So disapointed

We were impressed at being asked about allergies before we were seated. Temperature was a little chilly. Service was okay. Food was pretty average. Had the sharing platter starter, seriously bland; I was expecting the fried halloumi to be warm at least, but was cold, wondered if this was deliberate? Fish pie was piping hot, but my fish and chips were tepid. No diet Pepsi, however, on the plus side they did tell us this before we ordered. Overall a disappointing experience for the cost.

It was good to see that the Bill’s restaurant in Farnham has a good and varied menu with several interesting vegetarian options. The food itself was good, but a note to their kitchen, if the dish chosen is a hot one then the plate needs to be hot too, not cold as in our case. It should also be noted that one of our hot dishes served was virtually cold too. The service was slow and really how much does it cost to put a smile on a servers face, come on, we’re paying your wages and all we got was a sullen face with zero personality. I don’t want to be entertained by the staff, but they should at least be efficient, look happy and enjoying their work. We’ll give this place one more chance and if no improvement, well, we have plenty of options in Farnham don’t we.

We’ve been working overseas for 2 years and before we went we were regulars here. Visited last night and disappointed. The haloumi sticks have changed, they’re not sticks at all, just small bits of halloumi chucked on the plate. For the price it was shocking. The rest of the food was just average. They’ve also changed the layout to squeeze in more tables and it’s a mess. I couldn’t hear my partner talking over the woman on the next table. We won’t be returning.

A great place to meet friends and enjoy a light lunch. Comfortable ambience. Attentive waiters eager to ensure that guests are well looked after. When we complained that our coffees were rather strong, they were courteously replaced without any fuss. We received particularly good service from the bearded waiter (who doesn’t usually work on a Tuesday!)

We've eaten at a bills chain before so we knew what to expect when we came for breakfast, they have a gluten free menu and info sheets detailing all present allergens. They are very unstanding and happy to swap items with extra items. I had a pot of tea with soya milk and the traditional breakfast with extra tomatoes instead of mushrooms and an extra sausage instead of toast. Although, gluten free bread is available! The service is amazingly fast despite being semi full, Nd the good is delicious!
