By far the best pizzas and food in the area The food was fresh and delicious and you couldn’t fault the staff and their helpful friendly manner Highly recommended

We were a large group, including children, so we had the pleasure of trying a wide sample of the menu. The pasta dishes and salads really stood out for those looking towards a more authentic range of dishes rather than pizza. Here is the twist, it was the kids who asked for the pasta dishes and left more than one pizza eating adult looking on with food envy. That said the calzone was on point. Great venue. Parking can be tricky, but late at night, after 6 pm, you can park on the road. Lovely staff and we will go back.

Always reliably delicious! Not a fancy restaurant (more rustic) but nice a bustle/good atmosphere when it’s busy, great service (and they’re quick which is helpful when you have kids with you!) and we enjoy the food. Easily one of Farnham’s better restaurants!

Amazing pizza, and the gluten free base was the best I have had.

We were excited to return to Cafe piccolo for our anniversary lunch based on our previous visit and once again we were very impressed. We were greeted warmly and shown to a cozy table by the fire. There was a lovely atmosphere, busy but not noisy so we were able to easily talk to each other. The rib eye steak from the specials was delicious and cooked perfectly. We are already planning our next visit.

I can never get enough of Piccolo’s, hands down one of my top restaurants to eat at. The food is always so fresh and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Make sure to try the Gamberettoni!

Ate here as a large group. Really nice atmosphere and venue. Service was outstanding - super friendly and accommodating staff. The food was served promptly however it wasn’t anything special to be honest, and my pizza ultimately made me unwell. Quite a few of our group didn’t enjoy their mains, so skipped dessert. We were also accused of hanging around to get a photograph with a celebrity who was apparently dining in that evening/asked not to stand by our table, when we were actually waiting to use the toilets….. So overall, a pretty average dining experience - and overpriced in light of this. If supporting independents is important to you, eat here. Otherwise you’d probably get better Italian food at one of the chains.

Had a wonderful evening at Caffe Piccolo with my family for my birthday. There were 15 of us and nothing was too much trouble despite them being very busy. Wonderful food, wine, atmosphere and service. It is a special place

Twenty of us had booked up to celebrate our lovely cousin Sarah's Birthday. We all had such a brilliant evening and really enjoyed the food, drinks & service. When we arrived on Sat 30 Nov at 7pm we were all given a warm and friendly welcome and taken to our long table upstairs on the 1st floor. With this large party you would imagine that things would not go quite to plan but overall everything went really well. All our starters were just superb and I especially enjoyed the Gamberettino Prawns cooked in Garlic & Chilli with a White Wine & Tomato Sauce. Be aware that this dish does not come with any bread which is a shame as the sauce is simply superb, so order some as a side before hand. For my main I opted to have The Lasagne al Forno and a side order of chips. After we had all eaten our starters and mains we finished off with a superb Birthday Cake and two rounds of Limoncello. It was a really great evening and the staff were so patient and attentive to us all. Any minor problems during our visit were sorted out very quickly and efficiently ensuring we all had a memorable occasion. Our total bill including the optional 10% service charge was £874:77 which was great value as we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Parking around this area is quite limited so its best to use the Hart Car Park Pay & Display. You maybe lucky to find a spot along West Street but they are normally taken. Most of us had taxi's and they can be located at the end of the evening at the bottom of Castle Street. Have a great visit here.

Theee most AMAZING restaurant in Farnham! We come at least once every 2 months with my family and for business meetings. The staff are perfect, really attentive and the Manager, Darius, is beyond exceptional for his care and ensuring you are ‘part of the family’. A must try place in Farnham.

Great restaurant. Good food. Attentive service. Good decor. Prices are medium to high for this style of restaurant, expect to pay £40 each with 2 course with wine and service charge.

Best Italian for miles around. Darius, the host, treats every customer as a personal friend. Pizzas, pasta and mains are all excellent.

Luckily found this place while searching for places to eat in Farnham. We had no idea about the history and uplifting story of the whole place. I would definitely visit again next time I'm in Farnham. I had a yummy chicken and avocado salad, and chose to add goat cheese. Everyone else I dined with was very happy with their meals too. Our waiter was friendly and seemed to take pride in his job and was happy to tell us all about the place.

Love this place! Always welcoming, food delicious and made from fresh every single time. Great atmosphere, cosy and very authentic. Been bringing all my friends here now for some time.

We had our daughters 50th birthday here at Piccolos and had the most wonderful time and meal was really amazing. The staff are so are so friendly .I took over a cake to have after our meal and they were so accommodating and welcoming and let us in to set up the table for the celebrations nothing was too much trouble for them. I recommend Piccolos to anyone who wants to have a relaxed lovely atmosphere and staff so lovely and friendly and of course food made to a very high standard. Will definitely go again. Thank you Piccolos for giving our daughter a lovely enjoyable 50th birthday celebrations. Nanette and Chris Platt.

We had our wedding reception here and from the time we booked it to the day itself, we had excellent helpful service. They go the extra mile to ensure everything is in place and organised ready. We always have fantastic meals and a lovely time at Piccolo and have been coming for years. We brought friends with us on our last visit, one of whom is gluten intolerant and the team could not have gone further to make her visit as inclusive as everyone else’s.

Good food, great staff and lovely place to eat. A little expensive but no one forced to eat there. Only let down was service charge on the bill, whereas i prefer to leave a decent tip. But would eat there again no worries.

A rustic cute restaurant with creaky floor boards and the smell of old wood. Such a lovely find that serves wonderfully prepped pizza (proper pizza), and al dente pasta. I had the king prawn pasta and the prawns were king size! The portion sizes are huge too!! Totally worth going back!

Outstanding food, service, you must book even for a week day evening, looking forward to returning. All the food excellent , but as it is a listed building wheel chair access is a bit tight, but the staff super helpful to get in and out.

We were there on a Thursday evening and there was not a single table available (luckily we booked!). That should be a good enough indication for you of the experience. Highly recommend. Great food. Great staff. Great atmosphere.

There is absolutely no point in beating about the bush; I think this is the best pizza I have had in the south of England. I cannot speak as to the other available dishes. Every time I go I just have to have the quatro stagione pizza. It is absolutely brilliant. Perfect cheese and toppings. Perfect base. The staff are really charming and welcoming. The prices are reasonable and the decor I can only describe as Alpine Italian. Highly recommended.

Nice setting. This Italian restaurant has been refurbished and improved over the years. Now it sports a cool air-conditioning environment. It's got a great range of choices on the menu - all the sort of dishes you'd expect. The wine list looked slightly limited. Don't forget to look at the specials. It is certainly worth a visit, and it looks very popular.

My friends and I had an amazing evening out at cafe piccolo - the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially our waitress Bella. I highly recommend any of the pasta options, the pasta dish I had was perfection and will definitely be getting it again! Overall a lovely time with lovely people, will defo be visiting again soon.

Had a meal on a Thursday night and it was a good thing we booked as it was really busy. Food was very tasty and pizzas are a good size. The Bambino pizzas are probably too big for Bambinos . Staff were charming and I'm sure we will return

Was served an amazing gambaroni pasta out with my family today. Impeccable service by a girl with glasses and black hair. I have celiac they were very accommodating. Would recommend if visiting farnham.

My wife and I decided on the spur of the moment to go out foe dinner. We were going to church in Farnham and decided to have dinner at Caffe Piccolo. I had Bruschetta to start and we both had Carbonara for main course. Both starter and main courses were excellent probably the best Carbonara I have eaten in a restaurant. The food makes this restaurant special but the staff service makes Caffe Piccolo stand out for me. Simply Wonderful!!!

A proper Italian! Food was unreal and service was amazing! We’re from Chichester and went to Alice holt park for a walk, googled somewhere to eat after… was very lucky to find this gem! My daughter can’t have dairy or egg and the owner really accommodated that and ensured my daughter had a lovely meal. Would love to return.

Brilliant independent Italian restaurant!

Nice place. staff good but with large parties they get distracted. Food was OK but probably had been delayed before it got to us. Tried the NZ Sauvignon....not great as it was lime and lemon and not gooseberry...I think the restaurant need to get better quality wine in if they want to charge £35 a bottle. won't visit again so no need to reply.

A nice, slightly quirky little restaurant. The menu appears pretty standard UK/Italian fare. But is better and more imaginative than first impressions. Calamari was really crisp and thinly sliced, so no chewing here! Steak was tender, chips crisp, the Chicken Caesar nicely balanced, spaghetti bolognese rich and filling. Fabulous and really good value. We went here on Saturday night and had a great time. Gorgeous ambience, food was lovely and the waiting staff (and owner) were just brilliant. Thoroughly recommend it.

My family and I attended the restaurant on the 22nd February for my daughters 16th birthday meal. She was recently diagnosed with coeliac disease, so we are slightly new to finding coeliac friendly and safe places to dine out. We felt extremely comfortable, heard, and looked after. The staff were fully understanding and had lots of knowledge surrounding gluten-free and the importance of cross-contamination. The manager came to see us and explained their cooking process, including ingredients used and recommendations for the best GF meals. Service was exceptional. Prices are fair. Food was served hot, presented well, and the atmosphere/ambience was as expected. We felt very looked after. This hidden, little tutor style building in Farnham is a pure gem. We will return.

First visit to this lovely restaurant lunchtime today for my wife's birthday. Fabulous food, great service and humour from the owner Darius. She absolutely loved the complimentary tiramisu dessert. Will definitely return again soon.

Welcoming, relaxed but attentive and efficient service even with a larger party. Good value considering the portion sizes and exceptional quality. Only request would be to offer a lighter bites / smaller portions menu other than the bambino one.

We had lunch in here Sunday afternoon. We had a pizza each, my other half had a Salsiccia diavola and I had a rucola. The bases were really good, although tasty the diavola was not as spicy as the 3 peppers 🌶️🌶️🌶️ would suggest. After the pizza we were too full to have a dessert. We will be back to sample more they have to offer.

went for dinner for my birthday, this is my favourite restuarant in Farnham!! the service was fantastic, Ben our server was very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The manager Matilde made us an amazing sticky toffee pudding and put candles in it and sang happy birthday with the team which was just so nice. My partner and I both had meals of the specials menu, the steak was absolutely cooked to perfection!! would 10/10 recommend to anyone thinking of going to go its just a fantastic restaurant with beautiful surroundings.

Five star review with one negative😒. We booked a table for nine adults on Saturday 27 January 24 at 19:30. The food and service is simply superb and we all loved it. Our waitress for the evening was Mia who was excellent👌. I will just say that we can really only highlight one big negative and that is the compulsory service charge added to your bill. Why is it not down to the customer to decide on how much he/she wants to pay? why should the management feel they have the right to tell you "the customer" how much they want you to pay their staff!!! Totally "Not impressed" with this practise at all. They put service charge on even if you are just a couple as we have found to our cost in the past. When you consider that the majority of places leave tipping solely down to the customer. Some offer an optional service charge instead. With that one negative highlighted, the food we all had was simply amazing. The nine of us only had Starters, Mains and drinks and our total bill came to £452:92, service charge was included in this price and this was a staggering £41:17 which was way to much!!!

The place was packed, and it was a great night. The staff are efficient, timely, and very personable. We didn't wait for long at all for our food, which was fresh and very tasty. Neither my husband or I thought it was expensive either for what we had.

Lovely place. The only dish that was slightly disappointing was the cheesecake, it was really small in comparison to other desserts. Will go again.

I live in Guildford and always go back to this gem. Random find a few years ago. Had 3 starters between two people, they are all good sized portions but we’re greedy. Had the arancini, 3 big crispy rice balls and a big very tasty pot of tomato sauce, and the king prawns in white wine creamy sauce also incredibly tasty. Also had the stuffed mushrooms, delicious! About 5-6 medium to small sized mushrooms for one portion. Received a basket with 4 slices of sourdough bread, unsure which startee this was for but we had it with the leftover sauce from the prawn dish. For main course, my partner had the penne al forno, with chicken and pepperoni, it was mildly spicy and full of flavour. I had the pizza Regina with extra red peppers. Now the pizza is the reason i always come back here, very thin and crispy and you can’t stop eating it. Even ended up getting another pizza to have at home later because we are night workers and usually have another meal around 4 am. We shared a banoffee pie and whilst it doesn’t look like much it was fantastic ! The service was lovely, we had 3 people come to our table over the evening and everyone was very friendly. I wouldn’t say it’s a very expensive place, considering the portion sizes and quality. Cannot praise this place enough. Great atmosphere, busy on a Tuesday evening but we didn’t book and it was fine, not very loud either. Very relaxing and comfortable vibes.

Caffe Piccolo was a perfect place for us (coming from Somerset) and our daughter (coming from London) to meet for lunch. The staff were delightful, thoughtful and efficient and the food was delicious. We will certainly be back.

Walking into this restaurant makes you feel like you're in Italy! the staff are so friendly and the owner is funny and cheerful. The food was not too expensive and was good. The calamari was a bit overcooked, but tasted OK. The fettuccine with scampi was good.

Took my friends here as had been before and enjoyed the atmosphere as much as the food which is important to us when we go out. Lovely food and staff very attentive even though was busy Friday night in December. My friends were pleased with my choice and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely evening.
