Melinda was amazing! Such a lovely meal and great atmosphere 🥰

Under staffed but they did their best but the food was very poor. The lasagna was very poor as was the prawn pasta, about 8 small prawns for £18. I could not recommend to anyone.

Service from Maisie and Craig was excellent

Lovely food but found the staff quite rude and wanted us out by 9.20 as they said there wasn't any other customers there. The official closing time was 10.00. They were reluctant to serve us a last drink as they said they were closing the tills. We did manage to get one but by 9.40 they were standing by the door with their coats on. Especially disappointing as we were celebrating a friends surprise party

We had an excellent time at ASK. I was visiting the area to explore the town beauty and pop in here for lunch. Nice atmosphere and most delighted service we got from the staff. Friendly and happy happy staff is the main key to run a business and they are nailing it. Food was on table in time. Enjoyed my time without any complain. They deserve 5stars and happily recommend.

Lovely meal at Ask Haslemere, after walk at local beauty spot Devil’s Punchbowl. Immediately got warm greeting on arrival and throughout- exceptional service from everyone, very friendly and helpful , particularly our waiter Toby. - a fantastic example from whole team of great customer service. Food was very nice in particular the Mini-Dolce delicious, like a mini tapas of desserts.

Tess couldn’t do enough for us. Service with a smile ++. Food was very good quality and nice and hot, some differing opinions from good-excellent among our group. Chips and garlic bread are hard to beat here.

Craig and Maisie were both very friendly and incredibly efficient in serving us. We had our starters within 20 minutes of sitting down and all the food was delicious.

Craig was fast and efficient throughout my time spent in the restaurant! Would highly recommend for anyone that’s in around town looking fora quick fix and a very full stomach :)

Really good food as usual - went with my daughter looking for a quick dinner out treat. Very busy when we arrived - but even so, service was unusually slow, so was 2 hours all in all for 2 courses (main, dessert). Maisie was the stand out in terms of work rate and approach to achieving great service.

A lovely evening meal served by Marsie who was a new waitress and fabulous! Keep up the good work you have a bright future ahead of you.

Georgia and Craig were excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The restaurant was busy and they were the only servers and you didn't notice. I have allergies and they made me feel very safe eating with them. A very pleasant experience. Georgia's passion for her job was really lovely to see.

Visited with a few friends, food and service were both great! Will definitely be back!

We last dined here in December 8/12/24. I ordered the GF seafood pasta (Linguine Con Frutti Di Mare: mussels, prawns, clams, and squid in a tomato and white wine sauce), while my daughter opted for the GF tomato pasta ("tasty" tomato sauce with GF fusilli). Unfortunately, the food was inedible for me and not enjoyable for my daughter either. I understand that GF pasta is different from wheat-based pasta, but on this occasion, the pasta was undercooked in parts (not al dente, simply inedible uncooked pieces of pasta), the sauce was watery, and the moment I tasted the prawns and squid, I knew they were off. My daughter and I often share GF food so by then she already had a few mussels and prawns on her plate. Concerned about food safety, I called the server and explained the situation. She apologized immediately, offered to bring new dishes, and kindly removed the items from our bill. By then, I had lost my appetite and didn’t order another main. My daughter chose ice cream, and I opted for a Biscoff cheesecake, which was good. However, this experience has completely put me off dining at Ask Italian. While the GF food has been inconsistent in the past, I can’t understand how the chefs could serve seafood that had clearly gone bad or how pasta could be cooked so poorly. I also don't understand why getting the tomato sauce right for the same dish is so difficult. It leaves me questioning whether this reflects the chefs' skills or poor management at Ask Italian.

Great impromptu family lunch at ask today, we arrived as a group of 8 without prior booking and were greeted happily and seated then 4 more arrived a bit later on and the staff again helped without being fazed and us set up a table for them and made them welcome! One of our party is celiac and the staff were knowledgeable and checked she had all the information she needed before ordering. Everyone enjoyed their food and we will return! Thank you 🙏

What a superstar the manager of your Hazlemere branch was on Friday the 13th December. We had got caught up in traffic and we were going to see a show in town but when I phoned, the manager took our order over the phone and it was ready when we arrived, so we wouldn't be late for our concert. He deserves every gold star!!

Really great pasta, my wife had a tasty calzone and my kids enjoyed the kids set menu. Their part was good value for money. £5 for a bottle of water is excessive. And £4 for a little bottle of coke is far too expensive. But the staff are super efficient and professional and the food arrived quickly and was all hot. Would eat there again for sure. Perhaps I'll just sell a kidney quickly to raise funds for the beverages, lol

Slow service. Pasta overcooked but tasty very expensive for what is... just pasta and pizza. Potion size on the small size. This country is getting too expensive to eat out in. Possibly pricing yourselves out of the market. Staff friendly and working hard.

From the moment we arrived, we did not feel welcomed. There was no clear information about the opening times. We arrived at 11:00 AM, only to be told by the waiter that we had to leave because the venue was not celebrating kids’ birthdays that day—it was reserved for Father’s Day. Manager, please update the opening times. We came at 11:00 AM on a Sunday because Google lists this as the opening time, but it seems the actual opening time is 11:30 AM. Plus while we managed to get a table at 11.30, there were plenty of free tables “reserved” for ghost customers who arrived after 1pm.

Although I ordered a Deliveroo meal from Ask which was delicious, I have in the past been to an Ask restaurant in North London and it was very nice atmosphere. My food arrived last night punctually, hot and tasty.

Popped in with my parents for an early supper. Amazing pizza and calzone. Great service, welcoming atmosphere and the food was delicious!

I had not been in ASK Haslemere for some years but was really impressed by our meal tonight. The pizzas were excellent and the service was outstanding. The lady who served us is apparently the undermanager and the name Georgia appears on the bill. Highly recommended.

Harry is the best manager of a restaurant I’ve ever known. We’re a local business and he ALWAYS makes us feel welcome, is always upbeat and friendly. He’s never turned us away, even if we arrive late. Great food, good value for money and fantastic staff.
