Don't listen to the negative reviews! there is always someone to moan about something! Such a lovely little shop - we should be supporting the smaller sandwich shops rather than the chains, so friendly and well located! Lovely food, fresh and served with a smile. I hope you re-open soon and keep up the hard work! we love it! xxx

Staff are lovely and the food is delicious. We use them all the time for staff lunches, and meeting lunches for the business. Good value. Good home made soups and great specials on a Friday.

The place is really small (3 tables with 4 chairs) but for a small bite it is just great. The filled potatoes are just what's needed after a busy morning.

Castle Street is a architecturally beautiful busy thoroughfare at the heart of Farnham. Emma at Stirling’s sits at this frenetic hub. A tiny delicious jewel; favoured by office workers and shoppers. With four tables it’s an intimate space, there is plentiful outside seating. The sandwich bar offers a wide varietyof fresh fillings; breads likewise; Friday is roast day; the range of cake is scrumptious. Baked potato, sandwiches and toasties along with excellent coffee means that it takes several weeks to work through the menu. The homemade spicy parsnip soup is an absolute belter! On a Winters day Emma’s is the place to be; if you can get a seat enjoy the atmosphere. A tiny busy spot run efficiently with smiles. You will, most likely have a short wait, but worth it. Quality in every respect.

I found this place while having a hair cut next door. It’s a gem. Very small but well stocked. Emma runs a tight ship and they have a very wide choice for all tastes. I’m intolerant of gluten and she makes the best brownies I have EVER had. In fact I was totally fed up being only offered a brownie at most places as the only choice but these bad boys are off the chart...Farnham is lucky to have so many good choices there is ZERO need to put up with national and multi national chains offering the same old stuff. Farnham enjoy this little gem and the haircut was good next door too ....!!!

Stopped for a sandwich on the way through - having not found any of the other bakeries or shops in Farnham very appealing on the lunch front.Lovely to find somewhere that feels this genuine.Staff were friendly and helpful, lots of options, and very tasty!

Quick sausage baguette and a tea was extremely uninspiring. Ok so there’s not much to jazz up a sausage baguette but the bread was poor and the sausages cheap. Why not get local butchers sausages. Tea bag in cup was pretty underwhelming too. Very friendly staff but mediocre product and high price - £6.40!I visited having seen great reviews, perhaps lunch would be better.

I love Emma’s and cannot rate it highly enough. The owner Emma and her mum make all the food and the cake selection is incredible especially as most of it caters for gluten free and often vegan diets. A definite jewel of Farnham.

I truly miss this place when I am away, the environment is relaxed and Emma and her Mum always have time to chat with you, ( even though they are busy ) I would recommend the cakes Emma's Mum makes ( any of them ) ! They need some more room as they are very busy at lunchtimes

Went for brunch last Saturday and luckily got a table. It’s safely inexpensive so I let the kids choose for themselves... loads of healthy stuff. Not so sure about previous review as my bacon and egg sandwich was £4.25 and was perfectly toasted. Coffee really good too.

Ordered a bacon and egg sandwich. Cost £5.50. Contained microwaved bacon and chilled sliced boiled egg. Entire thing was frozen by the time I'd taken two bites. Very poor.

I enjoyed visiting Emma. The place is tiny - only three tables and these are crammed together, but Emma's personality and outstanding food really won us over. She's amazing! The baguettes and baps are tasty and filling. The soup is delicious. Will (and have) gone back there many times.

Popped in for a quick bite whilst in Farnham. The shop is small but very cosy. Had a couple of sandwiches and coffee. You can make your own sandwich from any of their fillings and they have white, brown and granary bread. Coffee was also lovely and large is a big mug, which is good.

Great place, Emmas. She does wonderful bread pudding like my late Mum used to make. Takes me back. Also, she was happy to have a bacon sandwich ready for my little girl on the way to school one day. Paid the day before and just pulled up outside in the morning an grabbed the sandwich. Now THAT'S customer service!

Delightful little 'market stall' sandwich shop and cafe in the centre of Farnham. We received a lovely warm welcome and had a tasty quick lunch. It's tiny inside but perfectly formed and the homemade treats on offer are just so delicious and very good value for money. What's more, the coffee tastes like coffee! So much nicer when you know that it's someone's personal business as opposed to a chain or franchise. This will now become our go to coffee shop every time we're in town.

We had lunch here today after reading the great reviews and we're very glad we did! We each had a baguette and coffee and both were excellent. It may be a small place but the welcome is big and the service friendly as well quick. There was a wide choice of food, something to suit all tastes, and it was great to have a quick lunch here. The steady stream of people buying sandwiches, salads etc to take away speaks of its popularity and ability to consistently deliver what people need. Thank you, Emma! We'll look forward to visiting again when we next pass through Farnham!

I have visited a few times for my lunch and have enjoyed all that I've bought. There is an excellent selection and everything is tasty and looks appealing. Far better than a supermarket lunch. Surprisingly affordable which is a genuine bonus as it allows me the treat of occasional lunches out of the office.

I love this shop, and would recommend it to anyone. Personalised sandwiches with so much variety that really beats the boring selections you get in supermarkets. Made quickly with lovely service and it doesn't break the bank- and that's coming from a student! If you're visiting Farnham it's a must try- the chicken, bacon and spring onion combo in a panini is my favourite! Bonus the coffee is better than Costa!

Fresh ingredients and friendly staff make this cafe a top notch experience. The stream of locals coming in to get their lunch speaks volumes and the staff seem to know everyone by name. We had a great sandwich (bacon, cranberry & Brie) along with a home made bowl of parsnip soup. Both were delicious and the sandwich was on lovely soft flavourful granary bread. The coffee was perfect too. Would highly recommend Emma's! Delightful! - keep in mind it's a small cafe with only a few tables, but you could easily get takeaway and eat in the sunshine on a park bench or walking around this beautiful historic town.

We went to Farnham for a weekend break and on our second day there we decided to go explore the town, came across this place and it just looked irresistible even from the outside. We went in and had the loveliest lunch, everything homemade and delicious! Would definitely recommend! Was also expecting it to be quite pricy due to such high quality of food and the location of the place but our lunch ended up being only £10 so we left a tip.

I've popped in a few times to Emmas. The smoothies are uniformly good (and the staff were sweet enough to top mine up a bit more when I'd ordered a 'small'). If you eat in, the prices go up a bit (obviously) but the sandwiches are freshly made with quality ingredients, and the free Wi-Fi is useful!

Popped in here today as our eldest was at UCA for an interview. Very pleasant cahtty staff, and despite being busy and a teeny tiny place, the food (panini) and orange/lemon cake was excellent. The coffee was lovely and hot. It's a rarity these days to get really HOT decent coffee and so many places fall down on this. Not here, piping hot and really good quality.

The 3rd of the green kiosks at the bottom of Castle Street has new owners and they certainly know what they are doing! Turns out its the same team that used to have the sandwich shop in Downing Street about 20 years ago - that was awesome too I seem to remember! Great quality sandwiches and paninis made with love and care in front of your eyes. The coffee is well worth the visit too. Only a few tables but essentially geared up for take away. I Will return as soon as I can.

Well worth exiting the A3 for this treasure! The coffee was lovely, as was the hot chocolate. The poached eggs were absolutely perfect, black pudding cooked to perfection, and the sausage was really tasty. Very reasonable, and the staff were excellent
