This used to be our go to Chinese... Atleast weekly... for over a year! NEVER EVER AGAIN ordered our usual including a chicken curry. What arrived can only be explained as a broth of curry coloured water, a few mushrooms, few carrots and a cube of chicken. Phoned to say wasn't happy (have never had to complain before) and was told they were happy with what they had sent out. We sent a video of the pot that was sent and even the lady on the phone (Rachael) said "oh christ that's awful" and said she would speak to the manager/chef. She spoke to them and their response was "tough, not sending anymore out and you must have eaten the chicken"!!! Absolutely disgusting customer service, even the lady on the phone was embarrassed at how awful they were, said they have had lots of complaints recently. Only good thing going for them was Rachael who was the poor middleman dealing with this. Never ever thought I'd post this but AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! Video posted to FB page of the disgusting slop they sent out.

Ordered Hot Dog and Wings, hot dog bun was intentionally covered in sauce, making it impossible to eat without your hands and face being covered in mustard and ketchup. The wings are like rubber and the most bland, underseasoned I've ever tasted. £20+ for the privilege.

Steak was cold came with a knob of garlic butter they hadn’t melted. We told the waitress who offered to replace it brought same steak out few minutes later that had either been microwaved or plate had been warmed, still not hot food and now cold chips as had been waiting. Not worth complaining again as everyone else had nearly finished their food.

A really impressive and unexpected find, the food was proper gastro quality, made with care and skill and inexpensive. We had a roast pork for £16 and a buttermilk chicken burger for £14 (I think). Quality ingredients, generous portions, cannot fault and I always find improvements! Good chilled soundtrack and coffee too. Will defo be back!

Went two nights in a row and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and their customer service, the reasonable prices, the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Absolutely amazing ribs, and burgers, brisket melts in your mouth, pork belly bites are to die for and the two ladies on front of house were so warm, welcoming and genuine. Thank you to all the staff!!

Our first visit. Staff very aware of what my Gluten Free other dietary needs entailed. I don’t often choose burgers but our meals (both the same) were superb (and my g/f bap was fresh) . Staff were attentive and as we say in Wales ‘hyfryd’ (just lovely).

We came for a family celebration on the 14th February our parents 35th anniversary Food was outstanding!!! We were given a private little corner which was lovely and gave us all an opportunity to mingle with family as we all sat together. Staff fully accommodated us even with a fussy 4 year old who kept changing his mind nothing was too much for the girls who served us. Prices were amazing!! Burgers and stakes were the bomb! And would definitely recommend! Thank u all for a brilliant day

Can be nice.. can be disappointing. Have decided to stop eating here because it's too hit and miss. Owner seems to rant in the Google comments that it's all "fresh" and "piping hot", but it seems I'm not the only one. So I guess it won't improve if the owner is so in denial and stubborn about that. Quality also seems to be guaranteed to be poor on a Sunday, when the chips on a few Sundays have seemed like they're either over done, or they're just old ones. Price is expensive despite (again) the owner's protests in the comments. Plenty of chip shops in the area selling bags of chips for much less than the £3.50 mark. Never had a problem with the customer service, although weird to hear the owner in the comments saying how everyone was rude, yet they seem to be the only one coming across as being rude and sarcastic to people. Makes this place even less appealing to hear an owner like that. Doesn't make me want to support their establishment. Edit: It's been a few months and thought I'd come back and comment, since it's a Saturday night and the chips are pants. All over done or old, not sure which. Took another star off. Also, nice of the owner to prove me right about their attitude with their reply below (oh they've deleted it now🤦🏻😂🐔) I wasn't even complaining about the quality of the potato... It's the inconsistency with the standard of preparation that's the problem. Shame they don't just take feedback on board. Guess I will have to 'go somewhere else'. Funny thing is, they think they've won by telling me to go elsewhere. Oh and thanks for letting me know about foodhub, I'll be sure to head over there now and give you 1 star, since you "only take those ones seriously"😘
