Staff in coffee shop are lively so friendly but customer service is awful. Phone is unavailable online form is OK till you come to dob and time. Their format is terrible don't make sense. Live chat is not working I've just about given up Starbucks here i come

This is a nice little coffee shop. The coffee was really enjoyable with a nice bite to eat. The staff were friendly and service was good and fast.

I have been visiting regularly recently with my 2 kids and each time I see the manager working she is nothing but negative and you can hear her complain very loudly whenever an order come through. She doesn't have a very good attitude with present customers either. Even my kids call her the toad of holton road. They are not fans.

The coffee was really nice and enjoyable. Coffee was a nice treat. The staff were friendly. Service was fast and good. Would recommend.

I've been visiting this particular Costa for many years now and I have to say, it's drastically gone down hill. Not everything can stay the same, but it's a shame to see a place you used to enjoy become stale and unwelcoming. I do get the odd enjoyable visit and there are a couple of nice employees, but for the most part, it's just a bit poorly run since there was a management change.

The girl with the big poofy pony tail, who I think is the manager of the establishment, was very rude and unprofessional. Overhearing them actively complain about near enough anything was tiresome, even for the short time that I had to be present to get my coffee. I saw her pull a wedgie out and then sneeze onto her hands afterwards - she didn't even look like she considered washing her hands. Quite frankly disgusting.

We always get a coffee at Costa in Barry. Amy always makes us feel happy, she is so bubbly and chatty, what an amazing girl.

If you are disabled and desperate for a wee don't bother asking when Barry is in lockdown because the answer is no, the toilets are locked and they barricade the entrance to the toilets with tables! Not good if you can't walk fast enough to the Library toilets up town, they should put a poster on the door in future clearly stating that the toilets are not open for use for anyone.

I usually avoid Costa in Barry due to not being impressed about a year ago. However , very impressed with the staff that were there today ( Sunday) - very welcoming and chatty. Seating areas were cleared promptly even though it was busy there.

Great Place to Chill with friends and really good coffee. excellent service and try the toasties they are delicious so to are their fresh cakes..

Visited here today June 1st 2019, for the first time I asked, after I’d paid; (no upselling here, doubt they’d even heard of it!!), about the £1 toast offer that the person behind me had ordered. The miserable young girl said ‘Whaaa?’ Then served the next customer. If there are offers it’s good retail practice to let the customer know; ie upsell. You would have had a further sale from us! The drinks are top prices so any offer is welcome. And smile at your customers; they contribute to your wages!

Very busy during mid morning. Seemed to be a lot of young mothers ....all with pushchairs which proved a hazard when trying to get from the counter with drinks. Coffee very ordinary,nothing worth the price charged. Will certainly not return.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that a costa had sprung up in Barry town today, having not visited the town for some time and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience I had. It was a warm environment on a cold day and a warm welcome from friendly staff helped too. The staff were efficient, the environment was clean and the selection was brilliant (although it would be nice to see a citrus tea available). The drinks we received were lovely and warm and the takeaway mugs brought that bit of welcomed festive spirit to the day! The highlight was the service we received - the staff were amazingly cheerful, chatty (whilst still being efficient) and knowledgeble on their products - our server, Daniel deserves a special mention, sadly I didn't have any change on me to give him a tip, but I do hope he gets given credit for the brilliant customer service he delivers - he really brightened up a cold day with pleasant banter, and friendly smiles - plus the suggestion of the marshmallows ontop of the choc was definitely worth the extra 45p! He even remembered my order when I came back again later on in the day - many thanks team costa! we will be back!

Staff are always cheerful and helpful, able to make special order coffees and hot chocolates to fit in with my family's specific dietary requirements.

This place is ok it can be quite expensive but then again it is a costa and people kinda expect that. Been here a few times and the seats are comfortable and the tea/hot chocolate is nice wouldn't have lunch here due to cost

I've been here a few times now and the drinks are always really good. The service is absolutely excellent, have had no problems at all. It's VERY crowded though, so it always seems to be loud in there. That would be my only complaint.

Love the coffee here especially when made by the manager who is a very hard working individual. Service is usually good although a couple of the girls have a weird attitude, grab the settee and have a fabulous coffee in a cosy environment
