We had a delivery of a Sunday lunch last week. Absolutely stunning dinner, lots of variety and great value for money. Prompt delivery service. Highly recommend

Was served this evening by a lovely polite young lad called mckenzie.. Whilst waiting for my drinks another member of staff dressed in all black called Richard made a dirogartory comment about mckenzie saying "he has a lot to learn" I'm really not very happy about this as mckenzie served my drinks perfectly and exactly what I asked for! A member of staff should not be slagging other members of staff off to customers I'm absolutely discusted by this, this man was also asking another lady questions whilst holding his head in his hands like he had no idea what he was doing. Every little thing he was asking advice for from the lady who was the manager, seems like he had no idea what he was doing and had the audacity to speak like that about another member of staff.

Lovely pub,great staff and I've heard that the Sunday lunch is amazing too.

First time ordering a Sunday lunch and it was amazing! Lady on the phone was lovely and very friendly. The food arrived within the hour and it tasted delicious and at a very good price. I will definitely order again

Went in there for a pint and to get a Sunday roast to find the car park basically empty and only two people in the pub. Then me and my Dad saw a guy pull roast dinners out of his boot in polystyrene boxes, we were well put off - avoid at all costs!!

Arrived from London at 1.45 pm on May 3rd, looking forward to a nice lunch, I was visiting family in Barry. Unfortunately the premises looked empty and the entrance doors were locked. Maybe the staff were on holiday.

We had an amazing Sunday lunch here on 06/03; The food was stunning and considering there were 12 of us the service and timing was incredible. We Preordered our meat so that they didn’t run out and the amount of extra veg and gravy made it excellent value for money. As if this wasn’t good enough the staff were so helpful, cheerful and accommodation and went out of their way to make sure we not only had gorgeous food but also a great time! We will be back! Our experience here I've got to say was not a good one. We went for Sunday Lunch and i have to say it was the worst we'd ever had. The mashed potato was stodgy, the rest of the vegetables came seperately and looked unappetising and tasted bland, unseasoned. The meats that were ordered were not correct as they tried to pass pork off as lamb. The yorkshires were over cooked to the point they were black around the top. The roast potatoes were probably the best thing but still couldn't eat them. They made the mistake of putting hot food on cold plates which meant the dinners went cold quite quickly. We just found them inedible and we all left them. I couldn't even finish my drink as it just didn't taste right. For beer drinkers it was a bad time too as they had no gas to be able to serve it. I gave the one star for the waitress, she wasn't to blame and was very pleasant and apologetic for our experience. I can say we definitely will not be going there again. We actually went somewhere else where we know we could get a good properly cooked dinner. ☹

Where to start.... well we thought we would give our local public house a opportunity to satisfy us with some local sunday lunch, we wish we hadn't bothered wasting our time and money, we waited 5 minutes for our order to be taken, then another 10 minutes for the meals to arrive, the meals were a total shambles as we ordered 2 lamb 1 pork and 1 chicken, we received 3 pork and 1 chicken dinner, with very little vegetables and mashed potatoes to serve 4, the portion size was ok except for the very badly cooked food, we sent all 4 meals back, as for being a public house it has no gas on for alcohol, only bottled beer, and the coke was fousty and flat. Thank you Glenbrook for disappointing our family sunday lunch, you have lost some local customers and will never be returning. In the images attached is meant to be 1 pork 1 lamb dinner, but they're the exact same meats. My recommendation would be to find a suitable chef who knows what the difference is between meats and how to season some veggies!!.......🤮

Haven't been for many years and wanted to go back to where my dad had many happy memories over 30 years ago. Was not disappointed had a lovely roast dinner and the lady serving us was very friendly. Will definitely be back

Not happy how this pub has gone downhill. Too many people drunk and drinking more !!! making a nuisance of themselves. What should have been a happy time was soured.

Absolutely awful. Do not eat hear. We came as a group. Out of 9 meals 3 had to be sent back and 1 of us didn't eat in the end. The burgers are cold and wet and flat. The food is over priced. The lasgana was burnt. The curry was cold. The only good meal was sausage and mash and it was £9!!! The staff are okay but honest it's not worth your time or money. Brownies are £5 and you get a lump of hard cold cake thing.

Very poor quality guinness. 10 yrs ago this place was buzzing. I think the young owner has made very poor business decisions as very few custom now. Large turnover of staff, never a good sign I wont visit until a lot of things are put right

We held my grand-daughters christening celebrations at The Glenbrook Inn on Sunday 8th April and had a fabulous day. The children could play safely in the play area whilst we watched through the windows and they were entertained and well behaved throughout the day. The buffet provided was superb and plentiful. We had lots of room to spread out in the function room and bar area and the bar staff were friendly. There were just over 50 of us and everyone had a wonderful day. It's a lovely place for a christening or family gathering and we left as a happy family. Thank-you to Carole for organising it for us 😊

Good pub, reasonably priced food and drink.

After booking a table for two for sunday lunch on arriving on time was told that they had no Yorkshire puddings and would i wait 15 minutes that turned into 30 minutes and then when our food arrived i had a pan cake on my plate not a yorkshire pudding complained but feel on deaf ears has the owners only concern was her sunday take away service anyway food was tasty and enjoyed then on ordering pudding described has Deep filled apple pie with butterscotch sauce and custard i only got a apple pie and lumpy custard then on paying the bill by contact less was not given a recite has i was told you dont get one when you pay by that method funny every time i have payed like this before i have had one

As always go in there are never any staff on site wait for a good 5/7mins.

A very clicky place and the prices are high for a soft drink or a pint, service is very slow tend to the locals first rather who was waitng first.

Only one good thing I have to say about my self and my familys experience at your pub was the food was good that's why I'm giving one star. The service was discusting your staff are rude when they can be found!! took over 4 attempts to have our table cleaned. We were served desert while we still had our dirty plates left on the table and to top it off when we eventually got our bill we where over charged we won't be coming again it is a shame because the food was good not a good mothers day
