I ordered coffee and food to eat in as I wanted a proper cup not a paper cup. We had a dog with us do we’re set immediately outside the door. I was not allowed to take my coffee cup (cost £3.30!!) outside / he went to pour it in a paper cup / so we stepped inside. After eating we were told we couldn’t bring the dog in! The food was pricey and basic not fresh. The service appalling with rude staff. We won’t be going here again. I’m not paying £3.20 for mediocre coffee in a paper cup sat outside!!! I can understand “takeaway “ but we weren’t taking away! Shocking!

Lovely ice cream. Right on the sea front with inside and outside seating. There is some street parking and car parks around the town. Love their ice cream it's really thick and not this light whippy stuff full of air . Well worth a visit.noticed today the lady serving the coffees in the cardboard cups let's her fingers on the inside of the cup after handling money.. not great ... Ask for a china cup.

Took my coffee outside because it was nosy in the coffee shop. After finishing my coffee I took the cup back and the tray and was told rudely by the woman assistant that I wasn’t allowed to take the cups outside. There was no signage to say this was not allowed. What is the point in having tables and chairs outside if you can’t take the coffee outside and also saw on the website there are pictures with people with coffee outside

Shockingly bad service. We were kicked out before they closed and were made to feel very unwelcome in the halk hour preceeding this. Overpriced, tasteless food. Really rude customer service, spilt milk on one us and hardly apologised. The lady with curly hair and glasses needs customer service training. How they keep going in this day and age I don't know. It's safe to say we won't be returning.

Absoloutly disgusting staff member. If i could give zero stars i would. I brought my 11 month baby boy in there, we sat down, about 10% full the place was even if that. This waitress, 40-50 year old lady ( dark curly hair & glasses ) proceeded to tell me that I had to sit in the corner which was a so tight and squeeze to which I politely declined and had said we will stay here. Her facial expression were eye rolling and tutting, it was that bad you couldn't write it. Her derrogotary and disgusting attitude towards myself was totally inappropriate. Even other customers found her attitude appalling. I said how can you talk to a paying customer especially one with a small baby in such a lousy attitude to which she replied 'how can i talk to a woman like that' . I was in shock.I got up and headed out but before I did I requested to speak to the manager who stood shyly in the back. Eventually she came and I had explained every thing but the manager unbelievablely minimilised everything . Unreal, I've never disrespected anyone and for someone to be so disrespectful towards me whist i was with my baby boy,and being ex forces who've served this country and have been through alot, as an employee of this business was absoloutly disgusting and shameful and if the owner is reading this right now I hope you understand what is exactly going on within your business.

Nice cakes - consistently poor coffee! Not sure why, but it seems like all the staff have been trained to heat the milk above any normally accepted level for a good cappuccino/flat white/latte. The result is always a disappointingly poor scalding hot coffee with little taste or texture to the milk. First world problem I know, but when you're paying swards of £3 for a coffee to go with your cake you want it to be made to a decent standard... The almond croissants, however, are excellent!

Purchased 4 ice cream 99’s @ £4 each, wouldn’t complain if it was nice! Even my kids didn’t like it. The ice cream tasted like some in-natural mix rather than ‘proper’ ice cream, there was a very unpleasant after taste. And the ubiquitous cadburys flake, nope ! They are out to make as much as possible by serving up horrible ‘cheap’ flake chocolate. So disappointing. Have some pride in your produce, Your customers deserve better!

I purchased a cake here today and said I was sitting outside. They passed the cake on a tray and half way through eating I took a call. During this call which I couldn’t end, a staff member started scraping my cake into a plastic container and put her hands all over it mumbling that I couldn’t have a plate outside. She also took my fork and come back with wooden ones. She was so rude, didn’t even wait for me to end my call and put her hands all over my cake. The mistake was theirs not mine and she spoke to me like a naughty child. They are always quit rude here but the scenery made up for it. Not any more!!

I’m so fed up with shops and any businesses really that over charge u when u pay by card.. they hope u don’t see it and then make a pound here and there off people!! It’s theft at the end of the day!! Ice creams where £3 each and I bought two.. the woman asked how I was paying and I said by card as I had no cash on me.. checking my bank today and she over charged me by a pound.. now to some people this may seem a little over the top to moan about but it’s not.. not when money is already tight for people and they r just trying to treat themselves to an ice cream while walking on the beach .. a small luxury to some struggling families!! The thing is if they do this to everyone who’s paying by card then they r making a small fortune.. a pound here and there knowing most people won’t say anything or simply do not notice at the time!!! It’s bloody wrong!!!

I purchased a takeaway coffee and hot chocolate from the kiosk part of the cafe as due to covid the cafe itself was closed. I cannot believe the price I was charged for the hot chocolate £4 and not only that it was much smaller than the coffee. We go to a lot of cafes and the average price for hot chocolate is £2 - £2.50. Then businesses in the uk wonder why people would rather go abroad for their holidays, its just rip off Britain. I hasten to add I will not be buying anything from there again.

This bar is in the right place to have lunch/coffee/cake in leisure looking out at the beautiful see. The cakes we had were delicious and I don't think I have had a vanilla slice that big before but it was beautiful. I can be fussy with my coffee but we had lattes and cappuccinos and they were both perfect. Although I do think that the cold drinks are quite expensive. Seating is acceptable but can become uncomfortable if you are sitting, drinking coffee and chatting for a long time. One of the things we were glad we did not do was take my husbands wheelchair (although) he could have done with it, because there would have been a problem fitting it down the middle of the tables.
